“It was our first time ever leaving our dog with anyone overnight. She is 7 years old so we were quite worried about how she would do. Kyle and Desiree put us completely at ease - they are sooo kind and caring! Bella had a wonderful time with them and clearly became attached to their sweet daughter. We have already booked a follow-up week stay with them would highly recommend them!”

“Christy was so sweet and loving towards our dog🥰 she followed all of our instructions and was good at staying in touch. Our dog is selective with people and not good with other animals, and she loved Christy and her family!! We will definitely be using Christy again.”

About: I am very flexible with scheduling and will try my best to adjust to meet the specific needs of each pet/owner. I would also say I am very genuine with the dogs I have taken care of in the past so I would give each pet attention & care so they feel loved while you're away! Pet care fits into my daily routine because I go to school in the mornings and get out at noon so I would have the rest of the day to feed, walk, play, and any other necessary tasks provided for me to do. I keep my home a safe and cozy space for my dogs. I also have a huge backyard that allows my dogs to exercise and play with their toys and I. Spending quality time is also very important for me so that they feel loved, secure, and happy.
About: My wife and have had dogs most of our life and multiple dogs at the same time throughout our 15 years of marriage. She previously worked with HABIC (human animal bond in colorado) to train her dog as a therapy dog to work in hospitals. We currently have 2 dogs, Bear a 13 y/o pyrinesse and Sasha a 8 month old rez dog rescue. Dogs are always welcome here. Dog ages dont matter, Bear has a gentle spirit to him and he loves puppies. Our only requirement is the dogs do a meet and greet and as long as they are good with each other so are we. We can help with minor training i.e. potty training, crate training, sit, shake etc. if you request it. Currently there is someone home 24 hours a day to play with and care for your puppies. I work a flex schedule and my wife is home during the days. We have 6 foot fenced yard for room to run outside, but prefer for their comfort to keep the pups indoors in the ac. We do have a smaller dog run if you prefer your pup to hang out outside. Fresh water is always out. We have several dog beds so they have comfy places to lay and we will work with your feeding schedule. We are familiar with giving oral medications if needed. Treats are handed out on the regular because the puppies deserve them.
“Tammy and her son took such great care of Louie! We received daily updates and it was obvious he was getting lots of love and attention. We will definitely work with her again.”

“Rebekah went above and beyond caring for my dogs. The dogs clearly liked her a lot and that only come when you do care for the dogs. She was always pending of any potential issue, feed them, walk them and most of all gave them presence with great care. Thanks!!”
“Lulu is a people dog and Andrea amd her family were pwrfect for her! Andrea gave me lots of feed back and pictures during her 3 nite stay. She administered her vitamins and did her eye wipes too! I would trust her again with Lulu for sure.”

“We were extremely nervous about leaving our dogs in an unfamiliar place for the first time as our boys are a bit spoiled. We were so lucky to have met Haley and David. The care and updates they gave us of Hank and Roy were really assuring. Roy was a bit nervous at first but Haley was able to bond with him and put him at ease. Hank just made himself at home. We will definitely use them again in the future. We 💯 recommend them!!!”

About: Who wouldn't want to hang out with dogs all day. Just this furry best friend that wants nothing more than to be a part of whatever you might be doing. I've had experience with dogs ranging from toy breeds to very large breeds. Having had dogs my whole life, I've cared for puppies thru seniors. I am a trained vet tech, and am comfortable taking care of dogs with a variety needs. Special diets, administration of meds, all not a problem. I don't even mind the small guys with big attitude! I have a fairly flexible work schedule, leaving me available after 3:30pm Sunday-Wednesday. Thursday-Saturday is more or less anytime of the day until about 10 pm. When it comes to caring for pets in your home, I prefer to keep to the house rules already in place. If there is a behavior we are trying to change or reinforce, I would like to be fully aware. This way I can continue training your in your absence. Other than that, expect me to spoil your fur friend. I have multiple dogs myself, and they are a part of my day. I would treat your dogs the same way.

“Ciara took great care of our 2 dogs for a week. Usually our dogs come home from a sitter and cling to us desperately, but our dogs came home from Ciara’s very calm and happy! She clearly loves dogs and we would highly recommend her. Our dogs especially loved that she had a fantastic dog park on site. Thanks, Ciara!”

“Darby was amazing! She was incredibly quick to respond to my initial inquiry and we were able to easily set up a meet and greet. During the stay, Darby was extremely communicative and sent frequent updates and photos, which we really appreciated. It was clear our dog was having a great time and was well cared for. We would absolutely book with Darby again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, thoughtful, and attentive sitter.”

“Jeremy and his wife did AMAZING! Pictures were sent, updates made. Didn't mind answering questions and providing updates. Cared for my pug and large lab mix like their own ☺️”

10 out of 10 every time! She’s takes very good care of Tucker and every time I schedule with her the experience for me and my pup is outstanding. My favorite part is receiving videos and pictures of my little dude having the time of his life. 100% would recommend to anyone looking for short-term or long-term visits. Eliszabeth is the GOAT!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
