“Darcy took great care of our pup and provided feedback and a couple photos daily during his stay. Bosco seems like he had a great time playing and getting all sorts of energy out, he's been resting a lot since we picked him up. We appreciated the communications throughout the weekend and we would definitely recommend Darcy for any pet care needs. Thank you!”

“Shanaea did a fantastic job caring for our dog Monte! We were out of the country for 10 nights and she sent daily updates and photos! She did a fantastic job communicating with all needs and questions and Monte was so happy in her home! We will definitely use her again when we travel and we’re so happy and impressed with the love and care she gave our boy while we were away! She even got Monte a stuffed animal duck to help him feel more at home! Very sweet and loving! 100% recommend! Thank you sooooooo much!”

“Zoe was amazing! She had excellent communication before taking care of our dog - took time to learn his needs and routine and asked questions to clarify etc. During the stay she provided frequent updates and regular (professional quality) photos of him, and he clearly had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend and will definitely use her again!”

“Carrie was so wonderful with my two kitties! She gave them lots of love and attention. I got many pictures everyday and it put my mind at ease knowing they were safe and loved on. Thank you again, Carrie!”

“I'm so happy I found Leesa! I have a senior dog who doesn't always warm up to people, but she warmed up to Leesa and Brent right away! Leesa sent me lots of pics and videos, so I felt very comfortable that Margeaux was having a wonderful time and was well cared for. I really appreciate her communication and the time she took to ensure that Margeaux's needs would be met”

“Casey and her family were so amazing! They were incredibly flexible, very responsive to any messages, and I knew our fur babies were in great hands. We loved the picture updates and we could tell how much fun Koozie and Nola were having when we arrived to pick them up!”
“Aimee was absolutely wonderful! I loved all the pictures she sent and felt very at ease knowing Finn was in good hands. She was very good with his puppy antics and Finn loved her and her family. Finn came home tired and very happy :)”

I am available to watch you per overnight or just for the day and for regular dog walking. “Charlotte took great care of our dog Juno! Juno got lots of walks, attention and time to romp in the backyard with Charlotte’s very cute pup Briscoe. Juno can be a bit shy and take her time to warm up to new people, so I greatly appreciated Charlotte’s patience and willingness to meet Juno where she is. We look forward to booking this Rover again!”

“Tamie and her son took great care of Max, she provided daily updates and pics, and her pup was very sweet, mild mannered and sounds like they got along well. Communication was great and she was easy to work, will reach out to her again.”

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for friends and family over the past few years, and it’s become something I truly enjoy. Most pets warm up to me pretty quickly, and I enjoy giving them the attention, care, and love they deserve. I like to get dogs out for plenty of walks. I’ve found that regular exercise is one of the best ways to keep them calm, especially if they are anxious while you’re gone. Cats will get lots of petting and playtime as well. I know that leaving your pet in the care of someone new can be a leap of faith, so I’m happy to send plenty of pictures and updates. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own and want you to feel confident they’re in good hands while you’re away. My routine is flexible and centered around each cat’s needs. I typically start the day by feeding them, giving any medications if needed, and spending a few minutes offering attention and affection if they’re in the mood. I know every cat has a different personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow whatever schedule they’re used to. Some cats love company and plenty of petting, while others prefer a quiet day and their own space. I’m comfortable with both and let each cat set the pace while making sure they’re well cared for and comfortable. I know that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I make it a priority to follow your instructions closely (a written list is extremely helpful), keep your cat’s routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they always have fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior and will communicate with you promptly if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and always leave it just as I found it.
“We had such a great experience with Elizabeth! Our dog Mae had an absolute blast—she came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Elizabeth was fantastic throughout the entire stay, providing daily photo and video updates that really put our minds at ease. It was so nice to see Mae having so much fun! We truly appreciated the communication and care, and we’ll definitely book again if we need care again in the future. Highly recommend!”

“Heather took great care of Moose while we were on vacation. She sent daily updates and made sure he got his daily walk. They accommodated his need to be fed away from the other dogs & he loved playing in their backyard. She let us come in advance for a meet & greet which we appreciated.”

“Apple took such great care of my little pup! She introduced her dog to mine while I was there and was very experienced introducing dogs in a safe manner! She made me feel very at-ease leaving my little dog with her and her pup! Will definitely use her again!”

About: Little background: I’ve loved animals from a young age. I would watch Animal Planet and study all kinds of animals for hours. I also volunteered at an animal sanctuary called Best Friends in Kanab, Utah. There I learned more about the necessities that dogs/cats of all ages need. I'm a very patient person. I owned a dog myself so I know how to bathe, feed, groom, & train basic tricks. I got my sweet girl when she was just a puppy, at 7 years old, and cared for her in her senior years in my 20s. I provided medication three times a day and did constant bathroom breaks since she was a little more fragile. I have taught a one-year-old puppy how to sit and lay down. Eventually, we got "roll over" and "play dead". I am available most nights and some days during the week and most mornings/nights on the weekends. I can work around my schedule for anyone needing care when traveling. When traveling myself, at the time my old girl was alive, I always worried who would care for her in everything she needed, so rest assured I know the feeling of wanting someone to know your pet like you do. I am a part-time student and work security. I manage my schedule very well so I will work around my schedule for families or people with pet care needs. Overnight care: 9pm-7am, plus every 2-4 hr check ins during the day. I will gladly be able to house your pet. Although I do own a cat, she will be placed in another secure home while I care for your fur baby.
“Anabel did an awesome job with our kitten, Moth, while we left him behind for the first time this past weekend! She sent photos & updates and he came back to us his normal, happy self! We will definitely use her services again in the future and highly recommend her to others!”

“Selena was fantastic! Great communication from initial contact and lots of updates and pictures while our girl stayed with her for a week. We will absolutely rebook with her for future trips!!”

Jordyn is a fantastic sitter!!! She clearly loves and understands dogs. She took amazing care of our pup and stayed in close contact with us the whole time, sending lots of photos and videos. She took special care to make sure that all our dogs needs were met, including plenty of play time with lots of toys. I will definitely be using her services again in the future and cannot recommend her enough!

We were extremely nervous about leaving our dogs in an unfamiliar place for the first time as our boys are a bit spoiled. We were so lucky to have met Haley and David. The care and updates they gave us of Hank and Roy were really assuring. Roy was a bit nervous at first but Haley was able to bond with him and put him at ease. Hank just made himself at home. We will definitely use them again in the future. We 💯 recommend them!!!

Shyla was absolutely amazing for watching our dog! She constantly gave updates with photos and videos and kept us up to date with how he was doing while we were gone. She even was so kind to watch him and take care of him after we learned he tore his ACL and had to be restricted in movement and she made sure he was taken care of! Definitely recommend her for watching and caring for your dog! ☺️

Our dog Remington loves Callie and Aaron and they always take the best care of him as well as send the cutest pictures while we are gone. Remington mostly only stays with family but I think he enjoys staying with Callie the most. He loves their dog Nugget and enjoys all the snuggles and walks. Thanks for all the love you give to our old boy!

Naomi is excellent as always! She is professional and trustworthy - and my girls love her and her beautiful family. She keeps me updated with real-time photos/videos of my girls, so I know they are being well-cared for and safe. I would highly recommend her for all of your pet-sitting needs!

Our dog Ginger stayed with Jamie and Ryusei for the weekend and they treated Ginger like she was one of their own. They sent many pictures of Ginger so we could see how happy she was. I would recommend Jamie and Ryusei to care for your pet. We will be using them again when need be.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
