“Leslie is amazing! Pip and Molly were so comfortable there and felt right at home. We received lots of pictures and updates our entire trip. Leslie is very kind and nurturing and we will definitely be booking with her again.”

“So happy we found Rachel and Sean and their pups. Great experience from start to finish. Amazing communication keeping us up to date throughout the stay with pics and videos. Blu had a great time making new friends. Highly recommend and would definately book again .”

“Jeremy is very communicative and easy to work with! He was always sending us pictures to give us peace of mind. Our pup enjoyed his time at Jeremy’s and we would definitely have him go back.”

“This was the first time I've used Tamara. She did a great job with our anxious havanese, Parker, and I think he settled right in. She has a small dog herself and it sounds like they got along well. Communication was great, as well the photos she sent while we were gone. Recommend!”

“Travis and his family are the best. This was my second time having them watch my dog Cali and I so appreciated the peace of mind. He’s communicative, responsible, and treats our dog like his own. Highly recommend booking with him. 10/10! 😀”

“Unfortunately my Kitty is a bit sensitive and didn't enjoy the boarding (it was her first time) yet Devon kept me on the loop and was very friendly and professional and gave the kitty space while keeping me informed of what was going on; would recommend for cat boarding she has a cat paradise set at her home and you can tell she really loves animals and takes good care of them. She quickly adjusted the dates when I came back to pick up the kitty up.”

“Delaney was amazing! She took great care of our small dog. She provided daily updates with (adorable) pictures, which made us feel comfortable knowing that our pup was in great hands. We will definitely book again!”

“Yi Ling did such a great job with my 2 pups. She updated me daily about their walks and feeding. She was very polite and professional. When I picked my 2 dogs up they were happy and seemed to enjoy their time with her. I would highly recommend her for your pets and will be using again when I go out of town.”

“Adrienne did a great job taking care of our dog Fernie! She was very easy to communicate with, clearly loves pets and animals in general, and has a great space for dogs to hang out in. She gave our dog plenty of exercise and love. Our pup is particularly grubby and vocal, and Adrienne took great care of her happily. Would highly recommend her services and will definitely reach out to her again when we travel without our scruff.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles, and small mammals my whole life! My 100lbs dog has taught me tons about dog behavior, body language, and training. There are very few animal related challenges I’m not up to! I’m a graduate student at CSU. I’ll have a pretty open routine this summer and am looking to fill it with pets. I can do morning walks, feedings, letting doggies out into your backyard. Whatever you need! I have a large fenced in yard and a private home in a duplex with nice, dog-friendly neighbors. My dog also gets 2 walks per day, so adding a couple more dogs into the routine would be easy.
About: I am an experienced dog walker, boatder and sitter. I am a dog lover and pet parent since my childhood on a ranch. I have never been without a dog. My dogs are a part of my family. I work from home, so your dog will have almost constant companionship. I free feed my dogs but can accommodate other schedules or feeding styles. I have a good sized dog door that most dogs can fit through and a large yard. The dogs are welcome to go out any time they need. Plus my dogs will always be good company for any visiting dogs.
About: I am a veterinary technician studying animal science due to my passion for animals. I have been petsitting for the past 4+ years and I am hoping to extend this opportunity to my local community/neighbors. I hope that I will get the opportunity to meet your pup/kitty soon! No matter what age/size, I hope to meet you and your perfect pet real soon! I am flexible to what you and your furry friends need. Please reach out to me for more information! Pet care is an important part of my daily routine. I work four days a week from 7:45 AM to 6:00 PM at a veterinary hospital, and I’m off three days each week, allowing me to spend plenty of quality time with your pets. One unique benefit I offer is that, with owner approval, many dogs are welcome to come with me to work, where they receive frequent potty breaks, attention from experienced veterinary staff, and supervised care throughout the day. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m visiting them in your home, I make it a priority to keep pets comfortable, safe, and on their normal routine while providing regular photo and video updates. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a veterinary assistant with a degree in Animal Science, I’m trained to recognize changes in behavior and signs of illness, and I’m Fear Free Certified and Pet CPR certified. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, medications, potty breaks, walks, and playtime. My home is kept clean, pet-friendly, and secure, and I carefully supervise all interactions. If boarding with me, dogs have plenty of opportunities for exercise, enrichment, and potty breaks throughout the day. During drop-in visits or house sitting, I respect your home, follow your instructions carefully, and provide regular photo and video updates so you always know how your pet is doing.
About: Like many people here, I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life. I have helped train both family/friends pets with patience or redirecting behavior rather than relying on punishment. I am a treat heavy household so please let me know of any dietary restrictions! As for why I want help take care of your fur babies, iv promised myself to keep my menagerie at a minimum. I would love to incorporate some new fur friends into my daily routine. I'm more that happy to schedule meet and greets to see if I'm a good fir for you and your family! I'm usually free all day Sunday through Wednesday with the occasional errand runs throughout the day. I'm more than willing to work my schedule around your needs. As for Thursday through Saturday, I will be at work in the afternoons and evenings with fur babys being alone for about 7-8 hours (if they are staying with me or need drop by visits) In my home visits: I will provide walks, outside time in the back yard, and dog park excursions (if permitted). I will also incorporate feeding schedules, medication and any other personal requirements that are needed. Communication is key! In your home visits: I will provided walks on each visit (unless otherwise discussed) scheduled feedings and play/snuggle time. I would prefer not to do overnights unless I can bring my dog with me and all pets get along with in your home.

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Collins
Lisa was absolutely wonderful! Scout and Lisa met through Rover last week, and they just had their first sleepover—it couldn't have gone better. Lisa is warm, loving, easygoing, flexible, and incredibly attentive. Her personality was a perfect match for Scout, who firmly believes every day should include unlimited belly rubs and a generous supply of random kisses. It was clear from the start that Scout felt safe, happy, and genuinely cared for. Thank you, Lisa, for taking such amazing care of my boy, and thank you, Rover, for making this connection possible. If only my dating app worked this well! 😊

I felt completely confident leaving our dog Lucy with Leslie and her family after our meet and greet. She's clearly very knowledgable about working with dogs and has great plans in place for doing so. She provided regular updates with pictures. Based on those pictures, I'm pretty sure Lucy would have liked to stay even longer than the 10 days we were gone! We will definitely be reaching out again the next time we need care for our pup.

We are so thankful that Tavia accepted our request at the last minute! She is an awesome person and was great with our dog. He got lots of attention and exercise while in her care. He was exhausted when we picked him up which is always a good sign that he had tons of fun. We will definitely be seeing Tavia again and you should too!

Shoni sent daily updates of Maggie playing with her sweet dog, Pineapple. Maggie came home happy and tired from running around and monitoring the bunnies. Shoni was responsive and flexible when our drop-off and pick-up hours needed adjusting. We will look to use her again!

Elizabeth and Will were fantastic dog sitters! Elizabeth’s communication before and during the stay was superb, and she sent a ton of updates and photos. She’s very capable and I felt totally comfortable leaving my dog Faye in her hands. Their goldendoodle pup is also very sweet and got along well with Faye.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
