“Stephanie and Jennifer are extraordinary. They took very good care of my Rio🐶❤️. They communicated with me while he stayed at their place. Rio sure did enjoy his stay. Highly recommend!”

“Absolutely so amazing. I had return trip complications and Jessica was so accommodating about keeping my pup. Happy and fed until I could return home. I could not be more grateful.”

“Brenda and Deb were both the best ever Rover sitters! I have never felt so at peace leaving my dog before. Brenda is a great communicator and sent us fun and sweet pictures! Our two puppers were very well loved and cared for during their three weeks with her!”
“I can’t say enough about Meagan and her family! Bentley loves to be with them and they are wonderful! She sends pictures during his stay and he just fits so well into their family. Could not ask for a better Pet sitter.”

“Unfortunately my Kitty is a bit sensitive and didn't enjoy the boarding (it was her first time) yet Devon kept me on the loop and was very friendly and professional and gave the kitty space while keeping me informed of what was going on; would recommend for cat boarding she has a cat paradise set at her home and you can tell she really loves animals and takes good care of them. She quickly adjusted the dates when I came back to pick up the kitty up.”

“Sara was an absolute gem!! She communicated so well and her little Waffle was the best playmate for our pup. They made it a fun experience for our dog. Excellent care!!!!!”

“Rosa clearly loves animals and is a great communicator. I'd hire her again in a heart beat to watch my little guy - he was definitely well cared for and it's clear that he enjoyed his boarding stay when I picked him up. If you're looking for a great sitter Rosa's the one!”

“Anabel did an awesome job with our kitten, Moth, while we left him behind for the first time this past weekend! She sent photos & updates and he came back to us his normal, happy self! We will definitely use her services again in the future and highly recommend her to others!”

“Natasha & her family took great care of our pup while we were out of town! She went above & beyond and send lots of photos and updates. We had nothing to worry about while we were away!”

“Lauren took great care of Avery during their weekend together. She was easy to communicate with, she provided regular check ins and updates. Was pleased with our experience and would definitely recommend and have her watch Avery again.”

“Adrienne did a great job taking care of our dog Fernie! She was very easy to communicate with, clearly loves pets and animals in general, and has a great space for dogs to hang out in. She gave our dog plenty of exercise and love. Our pup is particularly grubby and vocal, and Adrienne took great care of her happily. Would highly recommend her services and will definitely reach out to her again when we travel without our scruff.”

“Rachel was such a great caregiver for our puppers. She sent pictures on their hike and was so responsive to messages. We have already booked another stay at her home. Thanks Rachel for all the love and care for our golden.”

“Jen is outstanding - I cannot say enough about her! She was very attentive to my girls and kept me up-to-date with pictures and videos throughout; I knew my girls were well-cared-for. I would absolutely recommend Jen to anyone looking for a caring and reliable sitter with lots of experience, especially with small and senior dogs.”

“Delaney was amazing! She took great care of our small dog. She provided daily updates with (adorable) pictures, which made us feel comfortable knowing that our pup was in great hands. We will definitely book again!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Fort Collins
Devon is highly experienced, responsible, and loving — a great combination of qualities when you’re leaving your beloved pet in someone else’s care. Devon took care of our 13 1/2 year old cat, Polly, while we were out of town for most of a week. Polly loves attention and got lots of it from Devon as well as her sweet son and fiance. I recommend her highly!

Our dog Choco had a blast staying with Mikey while we were out of town for an extended weekend. Mikey took Choco for a lot of walks, supervised him playing in the large fenced backyard, made sure he took his pill at mealtime, and gave him lots of love and stimulation. What really stood out to me was how much Mikey enjoys being around dogs. I knew Choco would be happy with someone who genuinely cared about him. There was another dog boarding at the same time, which made it even more fun for Choco. Mikey was clear and responsive in his communication as well as experienced and responsible. I will be using him every time I need someone to take care of Choco and highly recommend him to others.

Natasha and her family so warmly welcomed our dog into their home! She had a lovely long weekend stay with them and was clearly loved. Communication was very easy and we enjoyed the photos and videos Natasha sent throughout the visit. We'd happily board our dog with Natasha again!

Justine was a great help to us as first time Rover users. She helped us navigate the process, asked great questions, and made us feel comfortable before the booking. We boarded Bernie with them over the weekend and it went great! Daily pictures showed the fun he was having on their many walks. After picking him up late on the last day, he seamlessly integrated back at home. We will definitely use Justine again!

Travis was great. Our dog Anbu probably had just as good a time with him, as we did on our vacation. He kept us updated throughout our absence. I knew she was in great hands. He was very flexible with is during our drop offs and pick-up times while they fluctuated due to travels.

Polly had a wonderful time at Shoni's place. She came home relaxed and happy. Shoni is definitely a person who understands dogs, and her home and grounds are what a dog needs. I looked forward to seeing the pictures that Shoni sent of Polly chillaxing and enjoying the view, or romping with another dog. We would definitely recommend Shoni's place to others. If I were a pup, I wouldn't mind staying there either. :)

Didi had an amazing time staying with Dana! She literally ran into her house from the driveway when I was dropping her off and I had tons of cute pics from Dana and even a birthday celebration for Didi since I was away for her 13th. We are going to be back for sure! thank you for everything !

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
