Now offering Dog Daycare in addition to boarding!! Your pup can enjoy safe, supervised fun in my spacious 2-acre outdoor play area, perfect for running, exploring, and socializing. I provide a caring, relaxed environment where dogs can play, rest, and make new friends throughout the day. Whether you need regular care or just an occasional break, I’m here to give your dog a happy, enriching experience while giving you peace of mind. I live on 4 acres 10 minutes from Old Town with plenty of room to play. I want dogs that stay with me to have a great time most of all. I have many years of experience taking care of dogs, cats, and horses. I owned a boarding facility where I took care of 30 plus horses and I have owned many dogs and cats myself. I can give shots, medications, special meals, etc. Drop off and pick up times are 7am-8pm.

Polly had a wonderful time at Shoni's place. She came home relaxed and happy. Shoni is definitely a person who understands dogs, and her home and grounds are what a dog needs. I looked forward to seeing the pictures that Shoni sent of Polly chillaxing and enjoying the view, or romping with another dog. We would definitely recommend Shoni's place to others. If I were a pup, I wouldn't mind staying there either. :)
Moose loved his stay & came home with an adorable homemade Pom Pom collar. I was completely at ease on our trip after my meet & greet with Shoni. Her backyard is dog paradise and I loved that Moose could have room to roam and explore.

Shoni is great! She sends daily updates and photos which is much appreciated. The space she has for the dogs is perfect for Barley. We will definitely ask her to watch him again!
Shoni sent daily updates of Maggie playing with her sweet dog, Pineapple. Maggie came home happy and tired from running around and monitoring the bunnies. Shoni was responsive and flexible when our drop-off and pick-up hours needed adjusting. We will look to use her again!
She is the best and the only person I would leave Max with!

Schedule
I work from home and my schedule is very flexible. I can be available at almost any time. I am looking for either ongoing or one time babysitting/boarding.

Safety, trust & environment
I have a ~2 acre fenced yard that I let the dogs play in as much as they want. My fence is 3 rail with rabbit wire from top to bottom to keep it solid and safe. Sometimes I board and/or day care for more than one dog at a time.
Pets
A typical day
I let the dogs out as much as they want. Some like to hang out outside, some like to stay inside. Usually we go outside to play first thing, eat and then they take naps. This repeats throughout the day depending on energy of the dog. Normally, I feed 2xs a day but I have done 3. Dogs who stay with me usually sleep in my bedroom with me but I let them choose that or the living room. Some sleep in their crates if that is their preference.
