“Emily was the best sitter we could have asked for! We have several animals; both dogs and cats, some with medication needs. She didn’t hesitate when we explained everything, and was more than up to the task! Our 20 year old cat, Goober, had especially specific instructions (including IV fluids), and Emily did every step we asked for, and went above and beyond. She understood how difficult it was to leave Goober at this point in his life (end stage renal disease) and made making him as comfortable as possible at all points in time a huge priority. She communicated frequently, sent tons of pictures, and made our wedding time completely peaceful knowing everyone was taken care of. Our home was completely perfect getting back to and she left a very sweet “just married” card for us. She will be our go-to for all of our future house-sits.”

They have so much to teach us about love, loyalty, and living in the moment. I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for friends, family, and neighbors for years, helping with everything from walks, feeding, and bathing to longer-term pet sitting. Because I work from home, I can spend the day with your dog, providing plenty of company, attention, walks, and playtime without leaving them alone for long stretches while you’re away. I also foster dogs through Animal Friends Alliance and have cared for dogs with a variety of needs, from puppies to older dogs recovering from major surgery. Fostering has made me even more patient, observant, and attuned to what each individual dog needs to feel safe and comfortable. I know how hard it can be to leave a beloved pet behind, so I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away. I want you to feel comfortable knowing your dog is happy, getting lots of attention, and being cared for by someone who genuinely loves being around them. I work from home, so I’m around most of the day and love that it gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of time with the dogs I’m caring for. I may step out for a few hours here and there for errands or other commitments, but otherwise I’m fully available to accompany your fur kids! Whether I’m pet sitting, stopping by for a visit, or taking your dog for a walk, I’ll follow their normal routine and any instructions you leave closely. I’m attentive to safety, medications, meals, walks, playtime, and all the little things that help your pet feel comfortable and cared for. When I’m in your home, I’ll treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I enjoy meeting them where they are and giving them the care they need rather than taking a one-size-fits-all approach. I'll make sure your pet has fresh food and water, exercise, potty breaks, playtime, medications if needed, and plenty of affection if they want it. I'll also treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is in good hands. At this time, I am not able to provide boarding in my own home, so all of my services take place in my clients' homes.
