About: I’ve always been a dog lover, and after more than 20 years of caring for them in different capacities, I still think getting to spend time with dogs is one of the best parts of life. They have so much to teach us about love, loyalty, and living in the moment. I’ve been the go-to dog sitter for friends, family, and neighbors for years, helping with everything from walks, feeding, and bathing to longer-term pet sitting. Because I work from home, I can spend the day with your dog, providing plenty of company, attention, walks, and playtime without leaving them alone for long stretches while you’re away. I also foster dogs through Animal Friends Alliance and have cared for dogs with a variety of needs, from puppies to older dogs recovering from major surgery. Fostering has made me even more patient, observant, and attuned to what each individual dog needs to feel safe and comfortable. I know how hard it can be to leave a beloved pet behind, so I’m happy to send plenty of photos and updates while you’re away. I work from home, so I’m around most of the day and love that it gives me the flexibility to spend plenty of time with the dogs I’m caring for. I may step out for a few hours here and there for errands or other commitments, but otherwise I’m fully available to accompany your fur kids! Whether I’m pet sitting, stopping by for a visit, or taking your dog for a walk, I’ll follow their normal routine and any instructions you leave closely. During visits and overnight stays, I’m attentive to changes in behavior, appetite, bathroom habits, or anything else that seems unusual, and I’ll communicate with you if I have any concerns. When staying in your home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would want for my own. I’m mindful of keeping doors locked, keeping your pets safely indoors, and leaving things clean and just as I found them. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you never have to wonder how things are going. I pay close attention to each pet’s needs, sticking to their routine to reduce any stress from being away from their family. I make sure they have fresh water along with any food asked to be given by caregiver, and engaging playtime that matches their energy level. I work full time as a remote worker so I can provide in home pet first care with ease. My work and schedule is flexible, which allows for pet care to be added into my day with little disruption to me or the pet. When I am with a pet in their home, their routine and needs come first.
