Hi, I'm Erin (or Rin to my friends) and I love animals of all kinds. I would be absolutely honored to have the opportunity to take care of your fur baby for you. I have an extensive history of pet sitting, fostering, rehabilitation, and minor training. I was raised by a k9 union military police officer and was taught how to train and care for dogs at an early age. During my adult years I fell in love with cats and have been involved with many rescues and foster groups over the years. I even had the joy of being a caretaker for a colony of cats several years ago. I've also harness trained cats and gotten them trained to go on walks too. I do freelance work from home, so as long as I have access to the Internet I'm able to work from anywhere, giving me plenty of time to spoil your fur baby.

I prefer having meet and greets prior to assignments, so that I can ask a list of questions I have prepared in advance regarding your animal's required care. For example, I may ask about: - Temperament - Feeding Schedule - Medications - Allowed on Furniture? - Emergency Contacts & What to Do in the event of an Emergency - Potty Break Schedule

Highly recommend Rin for pet-care. During my meeting with him to talk logistics and show him where everything he'd need for my two cat's care, he spent a good amount of time sitting with my cats and allowing them to become acclimated - which happened way faster than I would've expected. He asked many questions about their care during the meeting, which I really really appreciated. When I left for my trip, he made sure to keep me updated with pictures, which I also really appreciated, since I could see how well my Minako & Mika were being cared for. Recommend Rin to the Rover Community 100%.
Highly recommend Rin for your pet-sitting needs. I have two cats; one young (Minako), and one getting a bit older now (Mika), and they have a tendency to be very skittish around new people. Having a meet and greet with Rin was the best-case scenario - as we talked about logistics, he asked plenty of questions to make sure he was fully prepared to care for my furry loved ones. Spending that time with them while we spoke was surprisingly enough for them to warm up to him right away. He also kept me regularly updated with photos during my trip away, so I had no worries about my cats while I was gone. Definitely consider Rin for any pet care!
I am so, so glad that I decided to go with Erin for pet-sitting my cat. Not only was she promptly on time for both the meet & greet AND the pet-sitting gig, she was prepared with a ton of questions to make sure that the stay went as smoothly as possible. That made me feel SO relieved, knowing that she would be coming prepared. As far as the pet-sitting itself, she updated me regularly (3 times a day, per my request) about my cat’s well-being, and stayed in communication about any issues that came up. No issues with her care, it's just that my cat can be a little finicky with food around strangers; I told her not to worry about it, but she gave my cat some distance and sat with her until she started nibbling. I would absolutely trust her with Socks again - when I finally got back, she was chilling out in Erin’s lap and didn’t even come to greet me! I've never seen her trust someone so quickly!!! 10/10 Pet Sitter.

Schedule
I am a work from home freelancer, so as long as I have internet access, I can do my work from pretty much anywhere - which means that I can provide care and adequate supervision for your pets. Though I do have a few cats myself, my roommate watches her while I am on an assignment, so there are no distractions that will get in the way of my caring for your animal(s).
