Active, attentive care for all pets
I am a lifelong pet lover having grown up with dogs, horses, and a variety of other critters! I've had two of my own dogs for about the last 10 years and they've taught me a ton about relationships, love, and (arguably most importantly) patience. Over the years I've been trusted to care for my family, neighbors, and friends' pets by way of pet-sitting, transportation, exercise, and play dates! Most of my experience is with dogs, but I do have some familiarity with kitties' needs as well. I have experience in both balanced and positive-reinforcement training and strongly prefer the latter. I'm happy to provide limited services in behavioral training, and even help teach your pup some new fun tricks! I am also happy to work with pets that have special needs or senior pets. I'll make sure they feel loved and that your pet gets the intellectual or physical attention they need!

Safety, trust & environment
I fully respect all rules and boundaries of your home and make the comfort and safety of your pet a priority. On walks, I'll never take your pet somewhere you or they wouldn't feel safe. I generally avoid off-leash areas and dog parks.

Amelia is amazing pet caregiver! She is conscientious, nurturing, attentive, and trustworthy. When I get back to my doggo and kitty, I can tell that they both love spending time with her, as they are happy, healthy, and confident. She is responsible and accountable, attends to my pets specific needs, and I feel very well informed of how things are when I'm away. She loves animals and I trust my two pets in her care. Amelia has frequently (many MANY times) taken care of our dogs over the last decade. She is loving and consistent and careful with the dogs. We have a number of unusual (for most people) rules about our dogs; for instance, they can only be on the their beds in the house. Amelia is careful to follow our wishes. She is kind and thoughtful and makes sure that the dogs are well watered, exercised, and fed at the times and with the amount that we request. We come home to well-behaved, well-exercised, healthy and happy dogs every time.

Schedule
I work from home full-time, which means I have relatively high flexibility! I can work drop-ins and walks into any day of the week as long as I know a few days ahead of time.
