Every pet has their own needs so I am used to adapting to the needs of the pet and wants of what the owner needs me to do. As someone who has been wary of letting others take care of my pets in the past, I am always more than willing to share photo/video or text updates with you about your pets and how they are doing!

Additional information to know would be: need of certain medicines or has a specific condition, any unique quirks or behaviors, or if there is any aggression towards other dogs or humans. *Please note: I usually like to meet the pet in a meet and greet in person before booking a request with a new client. This helps minimize any stress and confusion that can occur when first interacting with any pets.
A typical day
I like to alternate walking routes and explore with dogs so that each time we go a certain route, there are new smells for the dogs to investigate. If a dog enjoys a specific toy, like ball, I might choose routes that would let me throw the ball or spend some time at the end of a session to play with the dog and their favorite toys. As a dog owner of an energetic dog, I try to engage the dog throughout walks by using any tricks the dog knows throughout or working on their trail manners.

Pet care experience
Hello, I am a fellow dog and or cat owner, who has been taking care of animals since I was a kid. I currently have an energetic Aussie, a fluffy Shetland sheepdog, and a spunky 19-year-old cat, who have a wide variety of needs. Many of the skills and experiences with these three kids are incredibly applicable to many other pets! My love for animals not only results in me revolving my schedule around them but also into my professional career researching large mammals. In the past, I have volunteered at animal shelters helping take care of the more energetic and old dogs and cats, who often just need someone with a bit more patience. Additionally, I have cared for family, friends and long-term clients' pets ranging from walks to in-home stays. I love playing with cats and dogs so thank you for your consideration to take care of your little buddy!

Hailey is an excellent Rover. She went far and beyond the expectations we set for her. She medicated and socialized our cats well. Her communications while we were traveling were thorough and she made sure to understand our expectations when we first met. I have no hesitation recommending her and will engage her services again when I next travel.
