“Shannon took amazing care of my cats, even my diabetic cat that needs insulin by injection. She was so nice and sent updates and photos. Will definitely book her again!”

“Kaya was an amazing find!! We had family in town and booked with her about two weeks ahead of time. We ended up changing plans and she was so accommodating to switching times. I sooo appreciate her and would definitely use her again!!”

“Taegan did a great job with our house full of animals. She approached her work with care and kindness and did a thorough job of communicating with us! We thought she went above and beyond (as a tiny example, she noticed our full trash can and took it to the curb on trash day).”

About: I am attentive to detail and thorough. I love working with pups but also have a lifetime of knowledge with cats. I would love to support your pet care needs. I have been homeschooling for several years. I’m ready to supplement income for my family now that my children are in full time school. I love animals and have Open Availability for any need. (Days, nights, weekends etc.) my place or yours. I currently have no pets. I do have a fenced in yard with plenty of shade in a quiet dog friendly neighborhood. I live near Troutman Park and Spring Canyon Dog park where pups can play. I have pet seatbelts, crates, bowls and toys. I’d love to support with training, walking, boarding and making new fur buddies.
“Danielle took very good care of my little kitty! I was happy to wake up to several pictures of my cat every morning! Danielle is very professional and responsible. Thank you, Danielle!”

“Becca was great and sent lots of pics! She engaged with my cat Milo so much and I could tell he had a nice time. Easy and straightforward communication and she left the place just like I left it.”

About: I’ve cared for dogs of all kinds since I was 8. My neighbors and friends often entrust me with feedings, walkings, and doggie slumber parties!! I work part time on the weekends leaving me with lots of time to spare. Pet sitting gives me a sense of joy and productivity! I have a fenced in yard and family to keep your loved ones safe and happy! I’m also flexible to fit your pets daily needs.
“Sydney took great care of our kitties! She sent daily photos and updates, and I felt confident they were getting lots of love and attention! I'd highly recommend her!”

“Serena was a wonderful pet sitter for our two cats (and even our two rats too). Super professional and knowledgeable but also easy to chat and communicate with. Was willing to go beyond just simple checking up on our pets (took out the trash and tidied up our place before we came back from an international trip). Would definitely recommend checking her out and will be looking forward to working with Serena again if we need pet sitters.”

About: I truly believe pets are our biggest blessings and should be loved and spoiled! 💖 I will treat your fur children as my own! I have owned dogs my entire life and am obsessed! I worked at the humane society in college and also worked in the pet nutrition industry in sales for treats, food, and supplements. I am mildly allergic to cats so I can do drop in visits but will not board cats or stay overnight in homes with cats. I have experience with drop in cat visits for many friends. My small pup has dealt with a variety of health issues over the years so I have experience with special feeding and daily oral medication intake. My small dog will be with me while boarding clients' pets in my home but I do have flexibility to have her stay with family nearby if needed. I work from home full time M-F so I am home most of the day and am typically fully available on weekends. I take pups out for walks 4 times a day and have the flexibility to adjust to their needs. I live in a 1,200 sq ft apartment on the 1st floor and have a large fenced dog park in my complex. We have tons of spacious grass areas as well for walks. I would not take your dogs to the dog park in my complex without your permission first to ensure their safety with other dogs in my complex. I do not crate my dog but can crate yours if that is part of their normal routine.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Masonville. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
