Availability

I am actively booking services via Rover in addition to other scheduled clients. Currently, I am available for dog walking, drop in visits for both dogs and cats, and overnight stays in your home in Northern CO/ the Front Range. As of May 2026, I am now working a full-time in -office job Tues-Sat (10am-6pm, 10-5pm on Saturdays.) That being said, if you are located within a close drive to my office in Longmont, i can also do drop in visits on my lunch breaks (anytime between noon- 2pm.) I provide the utmost care to your pups or kitties. Please refer to my calendar to book services and see when I am available 😊 PLEASE NOTE: **** I have a policy that new clients must request my services within 5 days’ advanced notice prior to drop- in visits, walks, or overnight sitting. If this cannot be done, it is very likely that I may instead request a one- time add- on adjustment/ fee to the booking, especially if the request is made: - In less than 24 hours’ notice and/ OR - On a Holiday PLEASE respect this policy of mine & know that I am a small business owner who cares for animals full- time. I do my best to fulfill each request that comes my way, unless I otherwise am already booked at the same time. I do not turn anyone away and ask that my time, care & love for your fur babies is respected! Thanks :) ****

Safety, trust & environment

I always ensure that your pets are in either a fenced in yard, or on leash while walked out in the neighborhood. I have experience with neurotic, fearful pups who need some extra lovin’, and may take their sweet time to get to know me and/ or need to be muzzled to go on a walk. I have cared for 8 week old puppies, and 19.5 year old kitties and elderly dogs. My love and respect for animals is always at the forefront of the time I spend in your home with your furry family members!

Home

Lives on a farm/ranch
Has a fenced yard
Non-smoking household
Has 1 dog, has cats
No children present
Dogs allowed on bed
Dogs allowed on furniture
Potty breaks every 2-4 hours

Information Leah K. would like to know about your pet

It is always helpful to know if the dog is reactive, and if so— to what. Some dogs are reactive to other dogs or people being around food, some of them are very protective of their owners or certain property lines. Some of them may even have toys they don’t love other people touching. All of this is good to know, as well as if/ how much they enjoy touch or being pet! Energy levels, appetite, favorite treats, and favorite activities are also good info to have.

A typical day

I will typically wake up between 6:30- 8am, take them outside to pee/ poo, clean up after them if needed, feed the dog(s) breakfast, then let them dictate how they’re feeling in regards to whether or not they want to lounge or play. I like throwing tennis balls for pups who enjoy retrieving, I can groom them by brushing or giving baths, and I also have experience trimming claws without fear of clipping too far or harming them in any way. I also enjoy taking them on walks, then will give dinner, let them run around and chase squirrels or other animals, and provide something for them to chew because chewing is an innate satisfaction for most doggos. I have experience administering medications that are oral and topical. I also have experience transferring elderly pups in a gentle manner to ensure their comfort. I like to wind down in the evening with pups and let them snuggle up on the couch. They’re welcome to sleep in bed with me too if I am house sitting for your home!

Pet care experience

Some unique dog care facts about me: -I have owned and loved 5 dogs their full lifespans throughout my 30 years of life -I can work well with other animals being in your home, because I grew up on a ranch with chickens, cats, goats, ducks, etc. -I can handle disputes between dogs, and can love on rescued/ nervous doggos -I will not love on a puppy any more than I love on an old dog -My commitment to your pet's safety is 100% -I have all the applicable skills when it comes to being aware of the dog's personal needs and how they might vary from other dogs -I don't just do the basics-- I ensure that the dogs receive love and not JUST that they have the essentials!

Leah's incredible! I would change my schedule if Leah weren't able to walk my dog. Your pets are in good hands!
