About: I have grown up with many different kinds of pets. Taking care of them feeding them and exercising them. I have experience with dogs cats ducks bunnies and fish. To me pets are part of the family and should be loved and cared for. I'm currently an online college student meaning I have plenty of time to drop in on your little furry companion. Wantings and evenings are my preferred drop in time but afternoons are possible if you prefer. I have a fencing yard with two friendly dogs just in case you're furry companion needs a friend. I have extra crates and leashes if you cannot provide your own.

About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 8 years old. We had a dog and as I got older new pets came into our home. I currently live on a farm and have cared for farm animals for 7 years. I have 40+ animals at home so there is a lot of responsibility. I was a part of 4-H and showed hogs, dairy cattle, and pigmy goats. I learned how to care for them and making sure that the animal was healthy and doing well. I have experience caring for a variety of farm animals as well as dogs. I currently have 5 dogs at home, 2 Australian Cattle Dogs, 1 Mountain Cur, and 2 Chihuahuas. I am available for services all day anytime unless my schedule says otherwise on my calendar. Or if an urgent/emergency event occurs then, I will communicate with you directly. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! 🥰 I care for my farm animals by making sure that they have enough water, water is so so important for them. So filling up the water troph everyday sometimes morning and night. As well as water I make sure that if they get grain I give them the correct amounts and if new hay is needed to give them more. I have applied fly spray to my horses and cows and sunscreen on hogs. I can give oral medication as well with farm animals and dogs. With the dogs I always make sure that they have enough water and food. My dogs have a free range for food so it is set out and they eat during the day. But I also have experience with timed feeds and amounts. I make sure that when they go outside that they aren’t too hot or too cold. I also really like to make sure that the pet is not stressed or anxious. If they are experiencing anxiety or stress I try and help them by giving them love and care. If it’s situational then I will remove the pet from the stressful situation and change places. If the pet is happy that makes me happy! ☺️

We were so stressed about leaving our cats with a stranger, but she made the process so unbelievably easy, on top of the fact we have a diabetic cat and she went above and beyond ensuring nothing went wrong. So responsive to messages, sends noted and pictures daily and clearly made sure the litter didnt get out of hand -- absolutely no gross smells or messed by the time we came home. We will be looking for her on our next trip, especially considering how fast our cats took to her and how relaxed they were during the trip and when we came home. About: I have owned pure-bred, rescues, fosters, disabled, and re-homed pets throughout my life (mostly large 40+lbs., but small as well.) I've provided training from puppy age into late-life comfort care. I also have a masters degree in behavior analysis and reinforcement training. I work from home as an artist, so I'm around most the day as well as my dad. There is a doggy door from outside into the garage (but not into the house). I trained Kizzy to push a button that says "outside" so I let her out as needed throughout the day and when one goes out, the rest tend to follow so plenty of potty breaks! Kizzy has a very flexible eating schedule and I am happy to accommodate feeding as needed for your pup. (Let me know about food aggression!) I tend to walk pups late in the evening when there's less distraction, less noise, and cooler, but we DO stop and smell the roses... and grass... and benches...and fire hydrants....etc. no rush here! Also, everyone gets a LED glow collar (if tolerated) because safety first! Safety is a priority! Behavior Analysis is my field of expertise, which is primarily the use of reinforcement procedures to change behavior (mostly for individuals with autism!) This means I do NOT implement punishment procedures (other than perhaps a firm "no") but rather "ignore" the undesired behavior. LED glow collars for nighttime walking. Can feed separately or together depending on your pup's needs! Will supervise feeding, especially initially! Also happy to accommodate medication administration if needed. I have a very social 6 year old boxer mix named Kizzy who is much less active than she used to be, but is tolerant, great with sharing and is great about correcting other dogs when they are being too "in her space". I have a 4ft fenced in yard, which backs up to a walking path with other dogs, bycliclists, runners, golf carts, etc. (so let me know about reactivity issues!) I prefer to have your babies here in my home as it allows me to work from home. I have multiple dog beds, a basket of toys, an extra large crate if needed, I keep water filled, yummy organic treats. I have lots of walking paths in my neighborhood, a nearby dog park, and Kizzy loves swimming in the river so water-loving dogs are welcome! I have cared for higher-needs pets including geriatric, blind, deaf, and even one which was paralyzed and used a wheelchair! I am very comfortable with administering meds, the "cone of shame", assisting with mobility up/down stairs, etc. However, I am also available to stop by your home for potty breaks/medications/water refill/etc. and am available to pick the pups up myself depending on time of day! I am very flexible, just let me know what ya need!

About: Hi Everyone! I have shown dogs since 2003. I also used to be an assistant manager for a doggy day care at PetSmart as well as a Manager for PetSmart. Pets are my life and I will treat your pet like they are my own! Currently I have a retired Golden Retriever named Summer and 2Tollers-named Cardinal and Tasha. I also have 3 cats. One indoor cat and 2 outdoor/indoor cats that I rescued from a farm in Texas. I am currently working from home and spend my days with my dogs. While most of my vet‑hospital work was front desk and care coordination, I’ve gained extensive hands‑on experience at home caring for my own pets and pets I’ve sat for. My own cat recently lived to 20 and required daily special care, so I understand how important gentle, consistent medical routines are. Both of my dogs are given oral medications daily and have fish oil added to their evening meals. One of my dogs is a very picky eater, so all of his meals involve mixing wet and dry food. I also recently lost a 20 year old cat who required daily oral medications, a special type of kitty litter, and injectable subcutaneous fluids routinely. I also regularly care for a diabetic cat who requires injectable insulin at specific times every morning and evening. My snake usually gets fed frozen mice (that have been warned up).

About: As a lifelong dog owner and experienced animal care professional, I count myself lucky to spend both my free time and my working hours caring for animals. I am certified as a Fear Free Animal Handler and have received consistent 5-star reviews while handling separation anxiety, blindness, aggression, past abuse, prolapsed colon, and surgery recovery. I have experience administering topical and oral medication, physical therapy, and insulin injections. I have been formally trained in canine Aggression, Body Language, Safe Handling, Training, and Enrichment Programs. I recently received my Master’s in Zoology at UW and now work as a Forester. Before that, I worked as the lab manager of a dog cognition lab, where we enacted non-invasive, observational experiments to learn more about the canine psyche. I also formerly worked as a Canine Caregiver at an ASPCA center for abused and neglected dogs, where I executed both veterinary and behavioral rehabilitation. In my free time, I have volunteered as a Wildlife Rehabilitator at the Wild Bird Fund, completed a technician assistant internship at a veterinary clinic, volunteered at a mountain lion sanctuary, and worked to rescue/rehabilitate/release marine mammals in California. I had dog companions throughout my childhood (a Boxer, Rat Terrier, and Lab). I am sadly not currently a dog parent due to my schedule and spending too much time with other people's dog to have my own. About: Throughout my childhood, I grew up with dogs. While I do not currently have a dog, I take care of my parents’ dog and three cats when they are out of town. I am also a cat mom to a lil kitten named Merlin. I would love the opportunity to meet and care for your pets! About: I love animals! It’s fun for me to get to meet your pet. I happily take care of dogs 25lbs and up. I have 3 dogs of my own. The youngest is playful and fun. The other two get along well with other dogs but are older. I can drop in on cats at your house. I work part time both at home and in an office. This is a part time addition to my life because I love to get to meet new pet friends and their parents. As a young child my first pet was a guinea pig named whiskers. You’ll see a pic of him and me in the photos. My family also had a dog named Pepsi who I loved playing with. In college, I got my first dog on my own. She was an Australian cattle dog / german shepard mix. She was strong willed and high energy like any blue heeler and she taught me a ton about caring for a pet. Before starting with Rover, I had helped friends watch their cats and dogs while they were on trips. We have a 5 year old shih poo, a 14 year old standard schnauzer and a 1.5 year old border collie mix. I’m familiar with high energy, intensity animals and those who need a slower pace. I’m interested in helping care for dogs in our home or cats in your home if it’s near where we live. I have a job that has a flexible schedule. I work some days all at home and others in an office. If your dog is active we will include them on walks and we have a split rail fence in our back yard. Pets can have roaming privileges around the house or be in a crate if that brings them comfort. Our dogs sleep in the bedroom with us mostly in their beds but occasionally on the human beds with us. We take regular walks and pets can go outside frequently. I will treat your pet to a fun stay at our house and send them home with you happy :)

About: Hello!!! I’m Niki and I’ve been doing pet care, paid and unpaid for probably my whole life! I’ve always been an animal lover. So before I started my corporate job, I signed up for a different pet sitting app, which turned into traveling the world to care for pets. I have cared for animals in Costa Rica, England, France, Canada and all over the states. And have even been flown back to Canada and England multiple times for repeat pet sitting visits. When I started working corporate, I stopped doing it for a while. But I always miss caring for a sweet animal. Now that I have a remote corporate position, my work allows me deep pockets of time between meetings throughout the day, which gives me more time! I am signing back up to merge my two goals, caring for animals while making a little extra money for help me go to a destination wedding at the end of the year. Since it’s a destination wedding I’m also pretty determined to get in shape, so if you have an active animal that needs a good walk, I am your girl!
