“Jess did a great job of taking care of my cat Luka while I was away. She kept me updated with her drop ins and followed the instructions I left regarding Luka. Luka looked really comfortable during his visits with Jess. I would highly recommend Jess to care for your pet. Thank you Jess for taking great care of Luka.”

About: I have grown up with many different kinds of pets. Taking care of them feeding them and exercising them. I have experience with dogs cats ducks bunnies and fish. To me pets are part of the family and should be loved and cared for. I'm currently an online college student meaning I have plenty of time to drop in on your little furry companion. Wantings and evenings are my preferred drop in time but afternoons are possible if you prefer. I have a fencing yard with two friendly dogs just in case you're furry companion needs a friend. I have extra crates and leashes if you cannot provide your own.
“Blake did a great job taking care of my cats while I traveled. My cat Rocky especially liked spending time with her! She went above and beyond by also filling the bird feeder and watering flowers! It's so nice not having to worry while I'm gone!”

“Dillon did a few drop in visits for my pups and was absolutely amazing! My German shepherd has never met him before the visits and he was a pro at getting her to warm up to him! He also played with them and adjusted to their different play styles. We will be contacting Dillon again for future visits! I highly recommend him!!”

“Amber goes above and beyond, and I can depend on her to be there when I need her. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of expertise with dogs and went above and beyond and gave me great value today when she bathed both of my dogs. One of them is a puppy and quite the shyster. She is a golden doodle and I know they are not easy to keep groomed. Thanks, Amber and I will see you next time!”

“Devin was a great sitter for our dog. After losing two pups in a three month span we were very worried to leave one dog alone. Devin made us feel comfortable that he was well loved while we were gone!”

“Elyssa was took extremely good care of our pets while we were gone for a week. She sent daily updates and photos and went above and beyond to make sure our pets were well cared for! I will definitely be rebooking her next time we go on vacation!”

“Evelyn watched our cats for 14 days while also giving medicine, playing with them and giving them lovings. We were so stressed about leaving our cats with a stranger, but she made the process so unbelievably easy, on top of the fact we have a diabetic cat and she went above and beyond ensuring nothing went wrong. So responsive to messages, sends noted and pictures daily and clearly made sure the litter didnt get out of hand -- absolutely no gross smells or messed by the time we came home. We will be looking for her on our next trip, especially considering how fast our cats took to her and how relaxed they were during the trip and when we came home. Thank you Evelyn so much for all that you do and for being you, you will be contacted again for our next trip, as said.”

“Emma was amazing! She helped us out for a week and went above and beyond taking care of the pets and cleaning up any messes they made. Would highly recommend!”

About: I started with Rover when I lived in CA. I’m in Greeley now and I work from home full time. I have two small dogs who are very good with other dogs. I have a 6 year old daughter who calls herself the animal whisperer and she loves dogs. About: I have lived with and cared for dogs my entire life. Have owned dogs as large as 160lbs and as little as 15. My dogs are my family and I will love yours just as much. Also I am comfortable taking care of puppies and giving medications. I work remotely so I am home all day with my pups. Ideally I want them out playing and living their best life. Typically work from 7am - 3pm and after work am able to play and offer enrichment. I can provide in home sitting. This allows for your dogs to be comfortable at home while you are away. I am flexible with trips outside and their schedule as I will be there during working hours.
“Even though my cat didn't come out from under the bed for her, Elissa updated me on how my cat was doing and got a picture of her every day! Elissa was super easy to work with and very accommodating.”

About: I am a mom of three with two fur babies, I grew up on a farm caring for all, have a well rounded expertise of care for animals. I am available most times throughout the day, I am truly looking to get outside more 🥰 and to spread love and care to all! I follow all instructions all pets are different and special in their own ways , for safety measures I would prefer some guidance from the pet owner.
About: I’ve helped train two puppies to potty train and even use the bell, so I understand the patience and consistency it takes to teach good habits. I really take the time to get to know each pet’s personality, routines, and needs — whether it’s a playful puppy full of energy or a senior dog who just needs a calm, comforting walk. I’m reliable, caring, and always make sure every dog feels safe, loved, and happy while they’re with me. Pet care fits perfectly into my daily routine because I have a lot of free time and truly enjoy spending it with animals. I’m able to give each pet my full attention — whether that means daily walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company. I'm available whenever someone needs a reliable sitter or walker. My dogs are like my children — they’re fully potty trained and have free range around the house. I take them out every so often because I want them to explore and enjoy the world as much as possible. They always have access to fresh water, and our home is truly their home. If you have specific routines or special ways you care for your dogs, please let me know so I can follow the same routine and make them feel comfortable and loved.
About: I have been taking care of animals since I was 5 years old. We had a dog and as I got older new pets came into our home. I currently live on a farm and have cared for farm animals for 7 years. I have 40+ animals at home so there is a lot of responsibility. I was a part of 4-H and showed hogs, dairy cattle, and pigmy goats. I learned how to care for them and making sure that the animal was healthy and doing well. I have experience caring for a variety of farm animals as well as dogs. I currently have 5 dogs at home, 2 Australian Cattle Dogs, 1 Mountain Cur, and 2 Chihuahuas. I am available for services all day anytime unless my schedule says otherwise on my calendar. Or if an urgent/emergency event occurs then, I will communicate with you directly. I look forward to caring for your furry friends! 🥰 I care for my farm animals by making sure that they have enough water, water is so so important for them. So filling up the water troph everyday sometimes morning and night. As well as water I make sure that if they get grain I give them the correct amounts and if new hay is needed to give them more. I have applied fly spray to my horses and cows and sunscreen on hogs. I can give oral medication as well with farm animals and dogs. With the dogs I always make sure that they have enough water and food. My dogs have a free range for food so it is set out and they eat during the day. But I also have experience with timed feeds and amounts. I make sure that when they go outside that they aren’t too hot or too cold. I also really like to make sure that the pet is not stressed or anxious. If they are experiencing anxiety or stress I try and help them by giving them love and care. If it’s situational then I will remove the pet from the stressful situation and change places. If the pet is happy that makes me happy! ☺️

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Eaton
Blake was great! She came at all of her scheduled times and fed Winston then they would play in the backyard and then sit on the front porch and check out what was happening in the neighborhood. Sitting on the front porch and watching the neighborhood is his favorite thing to do. She also took the best pictures of him. I will definitely book her again!!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
