About: When I worked at Noco Humane the cats were one of my favorite jobs to do. I’ve had experience with feral and shy cats and taken animal behavioral classes through my job. I also have experience giving medication and injections. I have two cats of my own both of which I adopted, one from the place I worked at. My miniature schnauzer, Charlie, has been part of my family for 7 years, and my newest addition, Billie, is a playful rescue who loves making new dog friends. Both of my dogs are very friendly, social, and enjoy having other dogs around, so I’m used to hosting multiple dogs in my home for family and friends. I have experience walking dogs, providing overnight care in my home, and pet sitting in clients’ homes. I’m also comfortable caring for puppies and helping reinforce potty training and good routines. About: *PLEASE READ* For House Sitting visits my dog Bucky will need to accompany me while im living nomadically. Every job I've done so far he has been with me with no issues. Meeting Bucky will undoubtedly answer some more difficult questions you might have about the quality of my pet care. Dogs are social animals and as humans we tend to spend so much time training them to be good we can forget we are the architects of their entire reality and to take time to just let them just be dogs. They're loud messy and impulsive. When we choose patience over frustration and offer comfort to a creature that cannot speak our language I feel that is engaging in the highest form of stewardship. A true non transactional act of service. I am currently living nomadically as a way to take my dog Bucky on his retirement journey of sorts. He DOES NOT have to participate in any tasks you hire me for but you can always opt in to that for free. **Please note that I cannot exclude my dog for over night stays at your location. Only walks and check-ins ect. My nomadic lifestyle is very much to your benefit, as it gives me a flexible schedule and the time and ability to focus on what you and your pets need. If you need a pet sitter for overnight or long-term care but aren't sure about having someone live in your home, that's fine! I just find a place to park. When I was a kid, my cocker spaniel, Brandy, and I dove snoot first into learning how to do obedience training, which has guided me in how I care for and look after dogs for all of my life.
