“Kristen has been an absolute God send! My dogs love her and my cats even the skiddish cat loves on her!! I am far away and love getting the pics of all my animals enjoying her company!! She always updates me on everything she's doing and has been so easy to work with!! I'm glad my animals have her to love on them!!”

“Elyssa was took extremely good care of our pets while we were gone for a week. She sent daily updates and photos and went above and beyond to make sure our pets were well cared for! I will definitely be rebooking her next time we go on vacation!”

“Dillon did a few drop in visits for my pups and was absolutely amazing! My German shepherd has never met him before the visits and he was a pro at getting her to warm up to him! He also played with them and adjusted to their different play styles. We will be contacting Dillon again for future visits! I highly recommend him!!”

“We, and my Newfoundland Aspen, are in love with Blake! She has taken our shy pup under her wing and treats her as her own while we are away. She took her time to learn our dog and even let her grow and explore new things within our instructions. We received very detailed reports along with many pictures of our pup as happy as a lark and relaxed. We will be using Blake in the future for sure and would encourage anyone who may be anxious about leaving their pup to the “unknown” to do the same. She is wonderful!!”

“Emma was amazing! She helped us out for a week and went above and beyond taking care of the pets and cleaning up any messes they made. Would highly recommend!”

“Wonderful job taking care of our puppies with lots unpredictability happening on our end. Thank you so much for the extra love and care of our puppies. We will contact you for additional potential care when needed. Shayna is a sweet, kind hearted lover of animals and does a great job.”

About: I have lived with and cared for dogs my entire life. Have owned dogs as large as 160lbs and as little as 15. My dogs are my family and I will love yours just as much. Also I am comfortable taking care of puppies and giving medications. I work remotely so I am home all day with my pups. Ideally I want them out playing and living their best life. Typically work from 7am - 3pm and after work am able to play and offer enrichment. I can provide in home sitting. This allows for your dogs to be comfortable at home while you are away. I am flexible with trips outside and their schedule as I will be there during working hours.
“Evelyn watched our cats for 14 days while also giving medicine, playing with them and giving them lovings. We were so stressed about leaving our cats with a stranger, but she made the process so unbelievably easy, on top of the fact we have a diabetic cat and she went above and beyond ensuring nothing went wrong. So responsive to messages, sends noted and pictures daily and clearly made sure the litter didnt get out of hand -- absolutely no gross smells or messed by the time we came home. We will be looking for her on our next trip, especially considering how fast our cats took to her and how relaxed they were during the trip and when we came home. Thank you Evelyn so much for all that you do and for being you, you will be contacted again for our next trip, as said.”

“Amber goes above and beyond, and I can depend on her to be there when I need her. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of expertise with dogs and went above and beyond and gave me great value today when she bathed both of my dogs. One of them is a puppy and quite the shyster. She is a golden doodle and I know they are not easy to keep groomed. Thanks, Amber and I will see you next time!”

About: Animals have a special place in my heart. I would want someone trust worthy to care and love my pets so I am here to make sure your animals are well taken care of and getting lots of love! I grew up mostly with cats and am currently a cat owner, however, my cousin (who was also my neighbor) had three dogs that I would consistently care for when they were out of town when I was growing up. I am comfortable with senior animals since they had a senior dog who needed oral medicine through a syringe. I’m currently a college student and working at Dutch Bros. My evenings and weekends are free and I’m always looking to get more steps in my day and walking pups. I follow each pet’s routine closely and treat them like my own, making sure they’re safe, comfortable, and well loved. I provide plenty of attention, playtime, and care, along with updates to keep owners reassured while they’re away.

“Remi was so happy to see Apple! Apple and her daughter were playing with her when i came home and her tail was nonstop wagging. Apple came over and was very flexible with time which I appreciated beyond words. She was amazing! Will definitely book again in the future!”

About: I have been taking care of dogs for many years. I have a dog of my own that I was taking care of when not in school. I also take care of family friends pets while on vacation and at work. I love to give dogs baths and play with them! Pet care fits into my schedule since I am a college student. Pet care can be molded into the ideal schedule and I am flexible with coming up with set schedules and routines to properly care for animals before, between, and after classes! I care for pets by making sure they are fed, have water, and a comfortable and safe place to sleep. I love knowing that animals are well taken care of. I love being able to play with animals and generally spend time ensuring that they feel the love they all need and want.
“Katy kept Patches' food bowl full and water bowl filled with fresh water. Thanks for cleaning out his litter box as well! He was happy to have Katy visit him and keep him company for a little while.”

About: My wife and have had dogs most of our life and multiple dogs at the same time throughout our 15 years of marriage. She previously worked with HABIC (human animal bond in colorado) to train her dog as a therapy dog to work in hospitals. We currently have 2 dogs, Bear a 13 y/o pyrinesse and Sasha a 8 month old rez dog rescue. Dogs are always welcome here. Dog ages dont matter, Bear has a gentle spirit to him and he loves puppies. Our only requirement is the dogs do a meet and greet and as long as they are good with each other so are we. We can help with minor training i.e. potty training, crate training, sit, shake etc. if you request it. Currently there is someone home 24 hours a day to play with and care for your puppies. I work a flex schedule and my wife is home during the days. We have 6 foot fenced yard for room to run outside, but prefer for their comfort to keep the pups indoors in the ac. We do have a smaller dog run if you prefer your pup to hang out outside. Fresh water is always out. We have several dog beds so they have comfy places to lay and we will work with your feeding schedule. We are familiar with giving oral medications if needed. Treats are handed out on the regular because the puppies deserve them.

About: I have taken care of pets and livestock my whole life. I have lots of experience with the care of animals. Including the feeding, doctoring, and every day care that is needed. I have taken care of dogs, cats, and I had a few small pets as well. My experience with livestock include cattle, sheep, goats, and horses. My husband and I recently just moved to the area. I don’t have a job at the moment so I am fairly flexible. I have two dogs of my own that I watch and care for. I live in a small town and there is lots of room to run and get exercise. About: Hello! My name is Kate, and I am a senior at the University of Northern Colorado! I have experience caring for a wide variety of animals, including dogs, cats, chickens, guinea pigs, and more. I currently own four dogs and a disabled cat, giving me firsthand experience with pets of all sizes and special needs. I've cared for dogs ranging from a three-legged Chihuahua to an Irish Wolfhound and am comfortable administering medications, following special feeding instructions, and managing prescription diets. As a lifelong pet owner, I understand the importance of providing safe, reliable, and loving care for every pet. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine as I am already responsible for caring for my own pets. I have a flexible schedule and am available most days and times, with the exception of Tuesdays from 12:00 PM–3:00 PM and Thursdays from 11:00 AM–2:00 PM when I am at work. Outside of those hours, I have full availability and can provide reliable care, walks, drop-in visits, feeding, medication administration, and plenty of attention for your pets. I care for every pet according to their individual needs and routine. In a client's home, I make sure pets are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of exercise and attention, and receive any medications or special care they require. I also help maintain their normal routine to keep them comfortable while their owners are away. My goal is always to treat every pet as if they were my own and ensure they feel happy, safe, and well cared for.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
