“Zoey gets so excited she starts getting restless and whining to get out of the car to stay with Rachel! I feel confident she’s having a great time and get tons of photo updates throughout the day!”
About: I have had dogs of all kinds since I was a young child, helping to train and take responsibility for them that continued into my adulthood. I have helped train puppies as well as taken care of older dogs, and everything in between! I am transitioning into part-time work, giving me plenty of time to care for pups! I would love to fill all my spare time with dog time :) I will care for pets in the clients home in whatever capacity makes them most comfortable! I want the dog to feel as happy and secure as when their owners are home with them!
About: Hi there! I’m a work-from-home dog mom to two wonderful pups—a sweet 3-year-old female Goldendoodle and a playful 5-year-old male Standard Poodle. They’re both friendly, well-socialized, and love making new furry friends. Dogs have always been a huge part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. Whether it’s neighborhood walks, trips to the park, a game of fetch, or simply relaxing at home with plenty of cuddles, I love making sure every pup feels happy, safe, and loved. Because I work from home, I’m around throughout the day and have the flexibility to provide lots of attention, potty breaks, playtime, and companionship. I understand how important it is to know your dog is in caring hands, and I’ll treat your pup like one of my own while they’re with us. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I work from home, so pet care fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home most of the day, which means plenty of time for potty breaks, walks, playtime, cuddles, and lots of attention throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. We have a clean, dog-friendly home with a large fenced backyard for safe outdoor play, two large crates if needed, and plenty of toys and supplies. I’ll follow your dog’s routine, feeding schedule, and any special instructions to help them feel comfortable while you’re away. I’ll also send regular photo updates so you can have peace of mind.
“I just couldn't be more pleased with my pup's 1st stay at Laurel's place. She is so kind and pleasant and has everything set up perfectly for her visiting dogs. Her family and her 2 dogs are equally welcoming. We will be back, I am sure!”

About: I have 2.5 years of experience working in a veterinary clinic, where I learned how to safely handle dogs and cats, recognize signs of illness, and provide compassionate care. Along with caring for my own pets and helping friends with theirs, I’m committed to making every pet feel safe, comfortable, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I’m an active pet owner myself. I already prioritize walks, playtime, feeding schedules, and giving my pets attention and companionship throughout the day. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to dedicate time to caring for other pets, whether that’s walks, drop-in visits, or overnight care. I enjoy creating a calm, safe environment where pets feel comfortable and loved while their owners are away. I care for pets by treating them like they are my own while also respecting their individual routines and personalities. In a client’s home, I focus on keeping their pet comfortable by following their normal schedule, including feeding, medication (if needed), walks, playtime, and plenty of attention and affection. I understand that pets feel safest when their routine is maintained, so I prioritize consistency and communication with owners. In my own home, I provide a calm and loving environment with my Australian Shepherd, Moose, and our cat, Leo. I make sure pets have a safe space, proper supervision, exercise, enrichment, and lots of love while they are in my care.
“We were very happy to have had Rebekah and her sister take care of Zeke. It was a last minute request and she was very accommodating to our schedule. The daily updates and pictures she sent of walks and sniffs were helpful to ease my anxiety of him being in a new place. We will definitely reach out to her again when needed!”

About: I’ve done dogsitting for many friends, family friends, and neighbors over the years, and have worked in a grooming salon, so I have experience with dogs of all breeds and sizes! I’ve taken care of my own dogs as well and have plenty of experience there. I’m currently not working any other jobs, so I’ll have plenty of time to take care of your pets! As such, I’m free just about any time of day! I have experience with safe and proper restraints of pets, so you won’t have to worry about your pet running away on my watch. I’m also happy to crate your pet if that would make you both more comfortable, and there are no other animals at the house, so my home is fit for dogs who want to be the sole focus of attention! The dogs on my profile live with my parents, but I love them, so I wanted to add them anyways (:

About: I've been a proud dog mom for over 17 years and have shared my home with as many as three wonderful pups at once. My experience includes caring for dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies who are still learning the ropes to senior dogs who need a little extra patience, attention, and specialized care. Since I work from home, I'm able to provide consistent supervision, reinforce training routines, and accommodate frequent potty breaks or extra exercise. I'm also comfortable administering oral medications and will happily follow your dog's regular schedule to help them feel safe, happy, and at home while you're away. I work full-time from home, which means your dog will enjoy plenty of companionship, attention, and supervised outdoor play throughout the day. Whether it's frequent potty breaks, playtime in the yard, walks around the neighborhood, or relaxing indoors, I'll make sure your pup feels comfortable and well cared for. I'm available for both weekday and weekend bookings and look forward to giving your dog a safe, loving home while you're away. I have a fully fenced yard in a wonderful, quiet neighborhood where dogs have plenty of room to safely run, play, and explore. Your pup will also have the company of my friendly 3½-year-old retriever mix, who loves making new furry friends and is always happy to share toys, playtime, or simply relax alongside another dog. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and fun home-away-from-home where your dog will receive lots of attention, exercise, and affection.
“Andrew has cared for our 1 year old Great Dane twice now and she always comes back happy and tired! He keeps us well updated with how she is doing and she is obviously well loved and cared for when she gets to visit. We will be continuing to use Andrew in the future and can’t speak more highly to his care and compassion for Millie and animals in general.”

“Thank you for letting Scout come over for a doggie daycare session - this was a good trial prior to his boarding appt. We appreciate your patience with him and helping him settle (as he can be anxious). And I'm sure Scout loved his walk - lots of new smells! Thank you for opening your home to him.”

“Our puppy's time with Leslie and her dog Ozzie was a great first experience. It was our puppy Astrid's first time in another person's home and being away from us for an extended period of time. Leslie made me feel comfortable by sending videos and texts with updates. Overall, Leslie made our first experience with Rover a good one.”

About: I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles, and small mammals my whole life! My 100lbs dog has taught me tons about dog behavior, body language, and training. There are very few animal related challenges I’m not up to! I’m a graduate student at CSU. I’ll have a pretty open routine this summer and am looking to fill it with pets. I can do morning walks, feedings, letting doggies out into your backyard. Whatever you need! I have a large fenced in yard and a private home in a duplex with nice, dog-friendly neighbors. My dog also gets 2 walks per day, so adding a couple more dogs into the routine would be easy.
“Kaitlyn took great care of my dog. There were a lot of pictures and updates throughout the day. Kaitlyn also communicated well before the booking, making sure Aloy would be comfortable in her care. This is your sign to book with Kaitlyn if you’re looking for someone in Fort Collins to watch your puppy.”

“I highly recommend Sydney to watch your furbabies! Sydney was very communicative and accommodating when I was in need of someone to watch Marley at the very last minute. I would be more than happy to have Sydney watch Marley again in the future!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
