Hi, I'm John. I'm the proud father of Darryl, a four year old Lab / Blue Heeler mix. Darryl is a very relaxed fella who gets along well with both male and female dogs alike. My home has been dog friendly to all pups for the past ten years. Darryl and I used to live in Colorado where it was very common for friends to drop off their pooches anywhere from a few hours to a few days. I guess what I'm saying is that we're used to having guests. My part time work is done from home, so I'll be able to give your pup the time and attention he/she needs. I have experience watching dogs of all types: small and large dogs, puppies, older dogs, dogs with anxiety and behavioral challenges, dogs who require medication administered, dogs with food allergies, etc.

John was awesome! Put us totally at ease and so easy to trust that he was taking great care of our dogs. We’ve never come home to them after a sitter as calm and happy as they were after John took care of them. A total pro, highly recommend.

Best dog sitter in Fort Collins!! (The only one we used while passing through, but I'm willing to bet...) John was amazing with our pup. We felt totally confident and comfortable with her in his care for 3 days while we were in town for concerts at the Mishawaka. He is a great communicator and takes his role very seriously. Time and time again, great to have take care of my dog! Allows him to cuddle and sleep in bed with him, sends pictures and videos daily, and leaves no mark when staying at my house. John is amazing, I appreciate his time and caring for my dog like his own family.

Jax loves staying with John and Darryl! They go to the park every day and John sends photos and videos each day so you can feel comfortable that your pup is doing well.

Schedule
I'm currently working part time and scheduling my days around walking my own pooch Darryl. If your dog is friendly and likes going to the dog park I visit two different locations daily. If neighborhood walks are preferred I live on a quiet street located in the Maplebrook I subdivision.

I have a fenced yard at my home so you can rest assured your pooch will have access to the outdoors even when we aren't headed out for a romp in the neighborhood. My buddy Darryl is on high alert for squirrels at all times so I understand the importance of paying attention and looking after your family member.

A typical day
I take my own dog to the dog park twice a day. You can count on me bringing your dog as well assuming you are okay with a dog park field trip.
