I just finished my second year at CSU and am home for the summer with plenty of time to care for your animal(s)! Aside from a few online classes, my schedule is pretty open. I'm based in Terra Linda and am happy to travel for drop-in visits within about 10 minutes of home, and up to 15-20 minutes for house sitting. For house sitting I'm available for stays of up to 3-5 nights at a time since I'm home with family for the summer!

I can't have pets in my home because of our dog here, but I'm happy to care for your animals in your home however you wish! We have a fenced in yard at my house, and with my own dog we usually leave the back door open for him with someone nearby to keep a casual eye on things. Additionally we used a crate and shock collar during his puppy training so I am familiar with those. Because I've worked for different families their house rules and animals needs are all different, so I will adapt to whatever your family needs from me!

It’s important for me to know ahead of time your pet’s feeding schedule, any allergies, medications, or medical needs, and their usual behavior (like if they’re shy or super energetic). I also like to know any household rules (such as furniture boundaries) and what helps them feel comfortable or have fun. For dogs, it’s especially helpful to understand their behavior on walks—whether they pull on the leash, are reactive to other dogs or people, or have any triggers I should be aware of. I really just want both you and your pet to feel safe, comfortable, and happy! For cats, it's helpful to know their personality and whether they're more independent or social. I'd also want to know their feeding routine, any hiding spots or safe spaces they like, and whether they're strictly indoor or allowed outside.
A typical day
My goal is to keep your animals happy, safe, and entertained! I love playing fetch or tug of war with my dog at home. If there's a yard letting them explore that and get fresh air. It's also important of course to take them on walks for exercise and mental stimulation. Lastly I love to give cuddles and pets. I think sometimes I enjoy it more than the dogs!

Pet care experience
I'm currently in college but home for the summer with my 8 year old labradoodle, Toby, who means the world to me. During the school year I also live with my roommate's cat in my apartment. I started pet sitting in early high school, and as I got older, that turned into babysitting as well. My experience ranges from just dog walking, to coming over for meals and potty breaks, to spending nights at family's homes with their beloved animals. I absolutely love animals and am the kind of person who stops to pet every dog I see outside!

Talia was wonderful with our dog! She sent the most adorable pictures throughout her stay which made being away so much easier. Our dog warmed up to her immediately which says a lot. Came home to find everything just as we left it and would absolutely recommend her!
Talia was great with our dog. She communicated well with us and made sure our dog had everything she needed while we were gone.
Talia is attentive and a great communicator and cares for our pets like they’re her own. Can’t recommend her enough!
Talia was great with our two dogs (one is a 5 month old pup), acccomodating all quirks and communicating updates along the way. We came home to happy pups and our house exactly as we left it. We will definitely be asking Talia to stay with our dogs again!
