About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, but most of my pet care experience comes from my own dog, Tuna. I adopted Tuna in 2014, when he was a year old, and he lived with me for 12 wonderful years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2025. I am becoming a Rover sitter to bring the companionship of a dog back into my life while offering other pet parents the highest level of dedicated care. Through caring for Tuna and my family's dogs over the years, I have extensive experience with all types of dogs, including highly active young adults and seniors requiring specialized care. As a former pet parent, I understand how stressful it is to leave your dog with someone else and trust they will be cared for as you would. I aim to ease that stress with loving, supportive, and dedicated care. I have included more detailed information on my experience below. Senior care: -Experienced in administering daily oral medications and supplements while managing strict dosing schedules. -Familiar with guiding dogs through physical therapy exercises, managing arthritis, and accommodating the slower pace of aging pets. -Experienced in managing complex nutritional needs, including transition care, dehydrated food, and preparing fresh meals from scratch. -Ability to manage specialized routines, including transporting pets to appointments such as veterinary acupuncture or maintaining routines for such appointments. Behavioral needs: -Experienced caring for a highly reactive dog with a history of abuse. -Familiar with reading dog body language, avoiding triggers during walks, and managing anxious or fearful dogs. -Skilled at establishing a calm, low-stress environment for dogs who need extra time to warm up to new people or spaces. Exercise needs: -Well-versed in safely handling dogs while hiking, camping, and swimming in the Colorado outdoors. -Accustomed to providing multiple structured walks a day, tailored to your dog's energy level. Hygiene needs: -Routine experience with monthly bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. I work almost entirely from home Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). While I keep regular work hours, my job offers excellent flexibility. This means your pup won't be left alone; I am readily available throughout the day for potty breaks, neighborhood walks, and dedicated playtime. If your pet requires a specific medication schedule, multiple feedings a day, or extra companionship while you are away, I can seamlessly integrate their routine into my workday. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family. I aim to provide a safe, structured, and deeply affectionate environment so you can have total peace of mind. If they are used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they are more than welcome to do so. However, I am happy to enforce any house rules and boundaries you already have in place. Overall, I maintain a very clean, organized, and pet-proofed home. All trash cans have lids, plants are kept out of reach, and miscellaneous items are never left out where a dog can reach them. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.
“My dog did great with Delane and her family while we were gone for over two weeks. Delane kept in great touch with photos and my dog got to enjoy the fenced in back yard and some other dog friends. He had a great stay!”

“Jeremy and his wife were awesome with our 2 dogs. They were very communicative, asked us all the right questions on dog care needs and personalities, and did a great job. Thanks for the pics, and for loving on our dogs! They both seemed happy when we picked them back up. Their house was a great setup as well, clean, big, and a nice fenced in clean back yard for the dogs to play. Will book again!”

“Riley was so happy with Dalia and Dainius and their daughter Milda! I’m sure she hardly missed me at all between their walks and play time. 😊 It was also wonderful how accommodating they were to watch her less than a week out! Highly recommend!”

“We have used Stacy multiple times now to care for our pup and she is great! Our pup always comes home happy and tired after a long weekend of playing with her pup, Bear. We will definitely continue to use her and I would recommend her to anyone!”

“We returned from our trip to find a happy and relaxed dog. I have a feeling Rosie was spoiled immensely while staying at Brenda’s! She has the perfect backyard for Squirrel watching and is very attentive to every dog she is caring for. Brenda sent many photos of dog walks and couch relaxing, many that are frame worthy! We are happy to find such a great sitter close to us and will definitely use her again. 😊”

He made sure all of their water bowls were full, all their litter boxes were clean, sent a TON of pictures, was so patient and sweet to my skittish cat, and even put classical music on for my cats when he left so they had something to hear in between his drop ins. I would highly recommend him!! My cats truly lived their best life in his care.”

Just having that positive presence is good for pets health when their person is away.. . If you want a positive presence for your pet then Kathy would be a great sitter for you too!”

I would highly recommend her to those on Rover looking for a reliable dog sitter.”

“We had such a wonderful experience with Rebecca! She was always punctual, extremely communicative, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free for us throughout the week. Our dog had a natural affinity for her and was genuinely excited every time she arrived — which spoke volumes about the care and connection she provided. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing our dog was in such trusted, loving hands. We absolutely plan to use her again in the future and have 100% trust in her services. Highly recommend!”

“George and Abigail are fantastic dog sitters. You can see they really love all dogs. Our dog Luna can be timid, but she gets so excited to go to their house. Her new besties are Mac and Gus, their dogs. She has a great time playing all day. I would highly recommend them for any type of Pet care !”

“Kyle & Desiree have been a tremendous help with Gene, & they are always great with communication, & also updates with photos & even descriptions of Gene's day/interactions. Couldn't ask for more.”

“From start to finish I was absolutely amazed by the kindness and professionalism that I was shown! I always appreciate when my pup can do a meet and greet so I can have the peace of mind knowing he is comfortable in the environment I am leaving him in. During the stay I got pictures of how well my baby was doing. And when I had an unexpected trip to urgent care for my family member they were able to keep my pup happy for a bit longer than what was planned. He came home and crashed because he was so tired from his big play date! 10/10 would recommend!!”

About: ***I will be out of state for the month of August. I will still be responding to requests but won't be available for in person meet and greets until early September. Stay cool everybody! Hello there! My name is Danielle and I would love to spend some time with your fur babies! I grew up with a bunch of pups running around (although I do not have any of my own now) and I have been sitting through Rover for over 8 years, so I have a lot of experience to bring to the table :) I have lots of experience with rescue pups (including any quirks that they may have because of this) as well as elderly pets who require extra attention, meds, specialized care, etc. I'm happy to work with you to provide the best care to your fur babies while I am watching them. I know different dogs and even different breeds can have wildly different needs and my goal is to keep them as calm and happy as possible while you are away. All my services are in your home only, including day care. Drop ins are for visits less than 1 hour (sometimes multiples per day), Day Care is longer visits (usually between 4-8 hours per day) but no overnights and housesitting is full time, 24 hour care including overnights. ***Rover has taken away full autonomy of our calendars. The Rover calendar only shows approx 80% of my housesitting availability. To see all available days (I update frequently), please look under "Availability" I freelance so I can work from home (aka right from your couch or home office.) As long as you can share your wifi password, I can be with them as needed. I can easily make sure I'm there to check in on them/work around their schedule. I'll most likely be with them more often than not during the day, and can stay with them all night as well. **Rover's housesitting calender only shows about 80% of my availability, below lists my full availability. I'll update regularly. If you're looking for something farther out/not listed, I'd love to hear from you! Available Housesitting Dates 2026 Sept 7-Sept 25th Oct 10-15th Oct 18-Oct 27th Nov 22-27th I will treat your pets and your home like it's my own. I will try my best to keep your fur babies on their normal, daily schedule. The only difference is that I would be the human doing the feeding, walking, snuggling, etc instead of the pet parent(s). I find this works best for most pets, and their parents, especially if there is any separation anxiety. During our meet and greet, I'll ask all about their daily schedule so I know how to best care for your fur babies during my stay. I work from home (aka right from your couch or home office), so I can be there with them most of the day and cater to their normal daily schedule :) Please be aware - during extreme temperature months, outside time (walks, etc) may be modified for everyone's health and safety. For example, in the winter/cold months, walks will primarily be done around mid day when it is warmest and during summer, walks would be done early or late to avoid the hottest times of the day. I am happy to discuss this with you during our meet and greet to come to an arrangement that works for everyone

About: I’ve been pet-sitting for friends and family over the past few years, and it’s become something I truly enjoy. Most pets warm up to me pretty quickly, and I enjoy giving them the attention, care, and love they deserve. I like to get dogs out for plenty of walks. I’ve found that regular exercise is one of the best ways to keep them calm, especially if they are anxious while you’re gone. Cats will get lots of petting and playtime as well. I know that leaving your pet in the care of someone new can be a leap of faith, so I’m happy to send plenty of pictures and updates. At the end of the day, I treat every pet like they’re my own and want you to feel confident they’re in good hands while you’re away. My routine is flexible and centered around each cat’s needs. I typically start the day by feeding them, giving any medications if needed, and spending a few minutes offering attention and affection if they’re in the mood. I know every cat has a different personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow whatever schedule they’re used to. Some cats love company and plenty of petting, while others prefer a quiet day and their own space. I’m comfortable with both and let each cat set the pace while making sure they’re well cared for and comfortable. I know that trusting someone with your pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility seriously. I make it a priority to follow your instructions closely (a written list is extremely helpful), keep your cat’s routine as consistent as possible, and make sure they always have fresh food, water, and a clean litter box. I’m attentive to any changes in behavior and will communicate with you promptly if I notice anything concerning. I’ll also send regular updates and photos so you can feel confident that your cat is happy, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away. I treat every home with respect and always leave it just as I found it.

I have many references as family, friends, and co-workers have relied and trusted me throughout the years to look after their fur babies. I'm currently a stay at home mom so I will have plenty of time to care for your fur baby as well! My schedule is very open and I'm willing to work around your schedule any day of the week. About: Exercise. Boundaries. Affection. That is how I care for my pup, in that order. When I first got Blue I placed in her in beginner obedience classes and still use the skills we learned in class to this day. It takes lots patience and effort to properly care for a pup but I understand life can get busy but I am here to help! I currently work a hybrid schedule and in the office in Fort Collins on Tuesdays 9-5. I do have more experience with pitbulls although I can work with all furry friends, big or small. If your pup is willing to romp with my pibble Blue, even better! I’ve made my hybrid schedule work by collaborating with the owner’s neighbors or friends close by to the home. I’m flexible to meet you and your pups needs! I have full time hybrid schedule and am fairly flexible during the week. I have a laptop and can essentially work from anywhere if need be. Blue has free range of my house when I’m gone. However that was not always the case as I had to kennel her for several years. I’m keen on upholding a regular schedule for her as far as bathroom breaks, food and walks to ensure she stays out of trouble.
About: I have been dog sitting since I was 12. I have always had a deep connection to animals and making sure they are cared for. I can handle dogs of any breed, size, and age. My schedule is flexible and open so frequent visits and walks won’t be a problem for me! My schedule is very open, I am able and willing to adjust to your preferences! I do take occasional classes in Denver but in total those only take about 3 hours (drive time + the class) I understand that a persons home is their sanctuary. I will be sure to treat your home with the utmost respect and care, being sure that your home will look great and be ready when you return.
About: I've been handling animals since I was a kid spending summers on a family farm in east Texas. Looking after chickens, cows, and sheep taught me how to be calm and capable around animals of all sizes. I took that experience into the animal welfare world to learn the technical side of dog behavior and safety. I’m PetSafety certified and ready to help with whatever your pet needs! Since I’m usually home during the day, I have plenty of time to stick to your pets routine, go for long walks, and give them all the attention they need. I have a background in animal welfare, so keeping pets safe is second nature to me. I’m also super careful about introductions and always supervise playtime to make sure everyone feels safe and happy.

“We left our dog with Ashlan for 10 days and our dog did so well. Ashlan gave us regular updates, gave her love, and took her on walks. Upon meeting Ashlan you can immediately tell she is a true animal lover. I will be using Ashlan every time we go out of town!”

“I could just tell when i walked in the door that bowie was going to be well taken care of. My puppy usually has a hard time when we leave her at a boarding house. She doesnt eat much, and barks all night but not this time! She didn't lose weight, slept and got all kinda of walks and cuddles and I got to relax on my trip because I could tell she was happy and relaxed! Definetely going back thank you so much Meagan!!!”

“Leesa and her husband are the best sitters ever. No question. Leesa clearly loves dogs and does her best to make her home welcoming to them. She sent video and picture updates throughout the stay. She followed our instructions to a T and made sure she got their medication schedule right. I just wish she didn’t stay so booked so we could use her every time. Thanks again!”

“Judith is so nice to deal with. She is very prompt returning messages and is always accommodating. Our Abby loves being with her and her extended family and she always comes home happy and exhausted from all the playing. We will definitely use Judith again.”

“Kimberly took amazing care of my dog, Champ, while I was away! She communicated with me, sent lots of pictures, and gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was in such loving hands. Champ came home happy and completely worn out from all the playing and love he received. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Andrea provided exceptional care for my corgi. I loved getting the daily updates and pictures! Duchess adored Andrea’s girls and it was obvious the feeling was mutual! It was so apparent that she was happy, comfortable and not at all stressed, exactly what I was looking for. I HIGHLY recommend her to care for your pet!”
