I am currently seeking a full time job outside rover, while I am currently more free, I will hopefully soon be employed and thus unavailable regular working hours. I am more than happy to stay the night and provide evening and morning care however, and if you are located close enough, will do lunch check-ins as well!

I am unfortunately unable to provide home based services at this time as my home is full of my own pets and unfortunately lacks room to accommodate others. As to care in my client’s home, a home is personal and deserves to be treated with respect and care, left exactly the same or better than it was. Following all instructions and care procedures is very important for me to ensure the pet’s wellbeing and safety. In another home, I spend the vast majority of time there actively interacting and building trust and positive bonds with your beloved friends to make sure they have a fun and anxiety-free time in my care!

A typical day
I love taking pups out for walks and/or jogs and playtime in a yard or even indoors! I’m absolutely open to taking kiddos out to hiking trails as well, which I find is great for high energy dogs and provides great opportunities for positive reinforcement based training to maintain and improve good behaviours. Creating enriching toys and puzzles is also great fun and wonderful mental stimulation for your pets. Cuddly animals are also wonderful! Belly rubs galore is absolutely lovely in my book! I’m open to engaging in whatever activities your pets love most!

Hello! My name is Rowan, it’s nice to meet you! Please do note that I am employed full time outside Rover and am unavailable Monday-Thursday. I have had family pets all my life and have worked professionally with animals at day cares, boarding facilities, shelters, and more where we not only took great care of our furry friends throughout the day, we also worked to reinforce good behaviours to maintain well mannered critters. I have also worked at vet clinics, as well interned at several zoos, and have completed my AAS in zookeeping. Throughout this I’ve watched over many different animals of all shapes, sizes, and dispositions. I particularly love caring for reptiles! Treating animals with utmost respect and love is my priority! Rowan (Grace) is an awesome pet sitter. VERY responsible and responsive! We have used her several times only to come home to a well kept home and most of all….happy fur babies! We have a Great Dane and a Rottie who both love her!
Rowan was happy to take care of my pup, who is slow to warm up to new humans. They sent regular updates and was very pleasant to coordinate with. Extremely quick with responding and took great care of my dog while I was out of town. I would highly recommend and understand why ratings and reviews are high!
Rowan did a phenomenal job with Chuck! We got daily updates and our boy was a happy pup while we were away. We can’t recommend Rowan enough. Great sitter!
