We’re newer to the Fort Collins area and currently have a lot of free time. We mostly run errands separately with the exception of specific situations so your pet will rarely be left alone during overnight sittings.

Be sure to let us know of absolutely anything important, even small. We both have individual as well as partnered experience with reactive dogs and don’t have a problem keeping them away from others. We like to get a really clear picture of their personality and how they interact with other animals, people, or children so we can adjust accordingly. We always want to make sure they’re being cared for exactly as requested.
A typical day
I (Alyssa) am particularly skilled in the mental stimulation area. I have a number of mental enrichment toys myself and can make up games on the fly even without materials. We both love command training, whether it’s teaching new tricks or refreshing old ones. We’ll almost never stop at a loose lead walk (unless required) as we do enjoy more engaging activities. Keana will walk, run, wrestle or just sit in the dirt if needed. Every dog has their own favorite hobby so we’ll be sure to follow their lead at some point.

Pet care experience
I’ve had the joy of raising my chocolate baby, Temperance, from puppyhood. Trying to give her the best life possible, I have studied everything I could — from behavior and body language, to nutrition and training. Over the years I’ve watched countless dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors. I have experience caring for all kinds of personalities — from silly puppies to shy seniors. I can recognize important body language like early signs of heat stress in the summer, behaviors related to anxiety or excitement, and reactivity to stressors. I also pay close attention to stool details that inform me of any potential tummy problems. While I’m not a certified trainer, I’m quite confident in correcting behaviors when needed. I’m always willing to research and learn more (even between visits) so I can show up better for each pet I care for. At the end of the day, I do this because I miss having a dog of my own and I have so much love and experience to share with yours.

Absolutely amazing! Gave my pup so much love and attention and left my house cleaner than it was before! They were the best!
I was away for a little over a week and had the pleasant surprise of not only amazing pet sitters but also they cleaned up and made everything look as well, if not better, than it looked when I left. My babies were happy to see me and I could also tell they felt loved and cared for. You can’t go wrong with these amazing two people!
Alyssa and Keana are awesome as always! They are unbelievably kind and professional, and even tidied up my apartment while I was out. Truly great people and the best sitters you'll hire on Rover. Aphra is always excited to see them!
