WFH Dog loving family on acre lot
Labs, weimaraners, dachshunds, terriers, spaniels - I've owned them all! I prefer small dogs, and I have a special love of dachshunds, specifically. We live in Timnath, and we live on an acre fenced-in yard. I work from home. We have a teenage son who loves dogs (and likes to earn allowance money!) so he likes to help me walk dogs, play fetch/frisbee/Chuck-it with them and to just simply snuggle. We have an adopted dachshund chihuahua mix who runs the house. She is 15 lbs and HAS to tell everyone who arrives that SHE LIVES HERE, and then after about 3-5 minutes, once she gets it out of her system, she finds her spot on the back of the couch and becomes indifferent. We call her the moody teenager! We've rescued many dogs over the years and believe that dogs were meant to be spoiled and are part of the family. My standard drop-off and pick-up hours are 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM. I do my best to be flexible within that window, and I completely understand that travel plans can sometimes change unexpectedly. If you have an early morning departure or a late-night arrival, I kindly ask that you plan to drop off the evening before and/or pick up the following morning. This helps me maintain a consistent routine for both my family and the pets in my care. Thanks so much for your understanding—I want to make sure every pup has a fun and happy stay!

Buddy always loves going to Andrea’s. It is his home away from home.
Lulu is a people dog and Andrea amd her family were pwrfect for her! Andrea gave me lots of feed back and pictures during her 3 nite stay. She administered her vitamins and did her eye wipes too! I would trust her again with Lulu for sure.
Buddy loves going to Andrea’s. She is so great with him. He has so much fun sometimes he doesn’t want to leave!
It is VERY important to me that Ben receive the same sort of care I would provide him myself when in need of a sitter. Whether on vacation or away on business, I need that assurance so that I can focus on matters at hand and not be worried he's locked up in a crate or stuck in a closet for a kennel somewhere...I got that with Andrea T. (and her son Dillon assisted tremendously). THANK YOU for allowing me to enjoy the rodeo and concert @ Frontier Days in Cheyenne by providing excellent care for Ben.
Our doodle loves being at Andrea’s home. She sends daily updates and pictures and he always seems so calm and content. Thanks again Andrea for taking great care of our baby!
Andrea is always wonderful with Buddy. He loves going to stay with her!

I work from home, so I am able to let your pup outside as well as give them snuggles, love and play-time throughout the day.

Safety, trust & environment
We have a large fenced-in yard, so your dog can safely go outside. While I'm working (from home), dogs have freedom inside (upstairs), though mostly they end up at my feet while I’m working, sleeping on the bed in my home office, or on my lap! We have a ranch-style house, and we have a dog gate up in front of the stairs leading to the basement.

A typical day
Our large fenced-in yard allows your dog plenty of room to roam around, sniff, play fetch and sunbathe! Our home backs-up to maintained open-space/park with walking trails. As a fair-weathered walker, we love the loop around the park on a nice day.
