About: Nice to meet you, my name is May, and I go by any Pronouns! I am a certified dog trainer with a lifetime of companion care and 3+ years of clinical veterinary experience as well as a pre-vet major. My skills are in veterinary medicine, welfare, conservation, Ecology, and marine biology. I am certified fear free. I have experience with dog & cat grooming, lodging, daycare, training, education, and medical care. I have even worked with dogs from k9 units and search & rescue units. I have 4 cats, and hopefully a dog soon! I can take care of your pets from any age, breed, size, even lizards, birds, fish, or turtles. You name it, and I will be there for them. Common questions: What if my pet has a disability? No problem! You let me know what they need and I can accommodate them, even if they have behavioral issues. What if my pet needs medications? No need to worry. I can administer medications via subcutaneous, transdermal, oral pills or liquids, or even instramuscular. What if my pet is high energy? Those are the best! High energy pets have high activity levels, they require lots of exercise and attention. I can make multiple visits, take them for walks, and even work on training plans while you're away. You'll come home to a happy pet with a new set of skills! Your pets deserve the best. They deserve a guardian. Not just someone who loves them, but who can care for them in all areas. That's what I'm here for. My skills: (and growing) ✨️ Administering medications (via any route; Oral liquid or pill, IM, SQ, Transdermal) ✨️ Grooming/Bathing ✨️ Nail Trims ✨️ Meal Prep & Feeding ✨️ Animal Behavior ✨️ Training ✨️ Medical Care Rover is something I fit into my life whenever I can while I work & continue education. Some seasons are busier than others, and that's normal. Pet Care is already a part of my daily life, so these requests come as a breeze for me. I try to update my calender monthly, but if things don't look right, if your other sitter isn't available, or if you just need someone ASAP, you are always free to message me any time in the app. I try to reply as soon as possible, but sometimes I don't recieve notifications, so it may take me a few hours to reply in some instances. My calender should reflect my un-availability at minimum. If you have any questions, please message me as I am flexible and will accommodate where possible. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. This means, I won't push your pets boundaries if they won't push mine. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need pet care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Pet TV is a great option for their environment while you are away and a new person is in their home too. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. Any grievances? No siree! Next, I like to start feedings and medications after activities. But, I take it at their pace. Afterwards, I will take care of cleaning & notes before my departure from their palace. My values when pet sitting: 💖Trust/Familiarity (Completing the Meet&Greet & sticking to a rhythm or routine) 💖Safety (Keeping doors locked) 💖Compassion (Always stay kind, patient & considerate) 💖Comfort (Temperature in the home, toys, beds) 💖Respect (Their boundaries and space) 💖Quality care/Ensuring all goals are met (Fulfilling all visit requirements) I do not force anything.

About: I professionally worked with dogs for 3 years and have experience working with all types of dogs large and small, high energy and mellow, social and shy. I’m well acquainted with administering medication orally and topically. High quality photos during our time will also be provided :) It’s a priority of mine to respect your home and leave your home just as it was when you left and with a happy dog when you return! NOTE: I do not accept 90+ lb dogs that are known to pull/get riled up by environmental factors. I am pretty small myself so I cannot safely handle such dogs. This is for the safety of both your pup and me! Thanks for checking my profile! As of now, I am currently unemployed and Rover is my main gig. That means more time and availability for you and your pup! If this changes it will be reflected here. I will always treat your home and your pet with utmost care and respect. ❤️ I’m in tune with reading dog behavior and language and can adjust my manner to whatever is needed to make your pet comfortable and happy.

About: Hi! I am a lifelong animal lover and experienced pet mom with a home full of personalities - including 4 dogs (Great Dane puppy mixes, a Great Pyr mix, and a senior pittie who keeps things interesting) and 3 cats. Because of that, I am super comfortable with all sizes, breeds, and temperaments - from giant, high energy dogs, to tiny sensitive guys who need a little extra love, and even the occasional grumpy senior. I truly understand how important it is to keep pets in their normal routine while you're away and I have experience with training, medicine administration, and specialized diets as well as feeding schedules. My goal during every interaction with your babies is to make them as comfy as possible while maintaining their routine, and make them feel loved while their people are away. I am especially patient with shy, anxious, or older pets and always adjust my approach based on what they need. I also know how important communication is, so you will get updates and photos regularly! As a pet mom myself, I know how much trust it takes to leave your babies with someone, so I make sure to treat every pet like they're my own! I work from home, which gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to accommodate most drop-in visits, feeding schedules, potty breaks, and pet care routines throughout the day. Since caring for my own pets is already a part of my daily routine, providing reliable and consistent care for other pets fits very naturally into my schedule. I care for every pet based on their individual needs and routine. I am used to managing multiple pets with different personalities, feeding schedules, diets, and energy levels. Safety, consistency and comfort are always my priority. For drop-in visits, I make sure pets get plenty of attention, potty breaks, playtime, fresh food & water, meds if needed, and love! I am happy to follow specific instructions closely. I am also open to pet sitting in my home for animals who are dog, cat and kid friendly. My home is very pet-centered, and I understand how important it is for animals to feel safe and cared for.

This has strengthened my ability to follow detailed care instructions, maintain proper environments, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or health across many species. ⸻ 🛡️ Safety-First & Detail-Oriented Care Safety is always my top priority with every animal I care for. I’m highly detail-oriented with feeding schedules, medications, enrichment, potty routines, and special instructions. I value clear communication and want every owner to feel confident and at ease knowing their pet is in capable, caring hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. As a student in a veterinary technology program, animal care is already a central part of my life, and I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time and flexibility for pets in my care. This allows me to be reliable and attentive with dog walks, drop-in visits, and care while owners are away, without rushing or cutting corners. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs, including consistent feeding times, exercise, enrichment, and observation. Because of this, I’m able to provide dependable, focused care and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I also take great pride in taking pictures and updates of the animals in my care. So you can also feel connected and comfortable being away from your furry companions. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on providing a safe, structured, and comfortable environment that meets each pet’s individual needs. I live in an apartment but am surrounded by nature trails, which allows for plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation through regular walks and outdoor time. In my home, pets have designated, secure areas for rest, feeding, and play, and I carefully manage space to prevent stress or unsafe interactions. I do not have any permanent animals in my residence, which allows me to fully focus on the pets in my care, though I do foster puppies occasionally with proper separation and supervision. Safety is always a top priority—I follow secure leash practices, maintain a clean environment, monitor behavior closely, and strictly follow owner instructions to ensure every pet feels protected, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
