“If you are looking for a caretaker for your pet, give Jim the opportunity to assist. Jim watched my German Shepherd, Levi, for a few days and he did a BRILLIANT job! Jim provided updates and pictures of my happy pooch! Jim did everything I asked and MORE! If you want to have someone who listens and does what is asked, look no further! I couldn't be happier with Jim's care of my very needy, Levi! I will definitely plan future getaways with Jim in the near future! OUTSTANDING! JOB WELL DONE!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! 🐾 She stayed at our house while we were away and took absolutely amazing care of our dogs. It gave us so much peace of mind knowing they were comfortable in their own home and getting so much attention. She sent tons of photos and updates, which we loved seeing while we were gone. Our dogs got plenty of playtime every day, especially their favorite game of chuckit multiple times a day! You could tell they were happy, exercised, and well cared for the whole time. Our house was also in great shape when we got back, which we really appreciated. We’re so grateful for the care and attention she gave our pups and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring. We will definitely be booking with her again! 🐶”

“Coral took very good care of Cookie. Coral gave us daily updates and even gave us an overall update. Coral was communicative and paid close attention to detailed requests. She took care of our place like it was her own and when we got back it was the same as when we left.”

“Love! Love! Love! Patricia is so sweet and very personable- she and I can talk for days. She was able to work with our schedule and our boy was in such good spirits after her stay with us. Can’t wait to book with her again! :-)”

“Amelia is the best house & pooch sitter we've used from Rover. She took such good care of our home and corgis, one of whom is a very shy rescue and the other needed repeated applications of eye medicine. I can see from the photos she sent how comfortable they were with her. The home & garden all looked great upon our return, everything was well cared for. Great communication, we felt really comfortable with Amelia taking care of our pooches, and won't hesitate to use her again. Thanks so much!”

“Nicole took great care of our two dogs for the past week. She sent us updates often and we could tell that our dogs were very happy with her. She was very sweet, thoughtful and reliable and we would love to use her again. Thank you so very much!”

“Mariah was great to have, we had her watching our dog for 2 weeks, she was great at communicating with us and we never had to worry about our dog. We knew he was in great hands!”

“Kayley was so amazing and very professional. She came to meet our animals before staying and took notes while we chatted. She sent photos during her stay, cleaned the sheets and towels, and even left us some treats (human and dog!) We would definitely recommend her! Thanks again!!”

About: $20 off my first visit with your fur baby https://www.rover.com/sit/kristg21142 I am so excited to meet your fur babies!!! I had a large Rover clientele in NC because I treat every pet as they are my own. I worked hard to gain knowledge about animals so I could give the best possible care to my clients. I started my work with dogs at a doggy daycare in North Carolina as a kennel tech and worked my way up to assistant manager. There, I prepared the food and medication for the dogs that were staying at the facility. I also was out by myself in the big dog yard with 20+ dogs at a time. That thought me crowd control and how to watch for behavior issues in order to keep the yard playful, happy, and safe. Always followed safety procedures for the safety of the employees and the dogs. I then went to Jackson Springs, North Carolina, where I worked at K2 solutions as a kennel tech and quickly worked my way up to the USM team with my previous knowledge of dog handling and behavior skills. There I handled all dog personality types, and had to be aware at all times for safety of the dogs and team members due to the dogs previous situations. I handled personalities from friendly to dog and/or people aggressive. I will always try to make myself available to care for your Pets when you need it. Right now I’m going to do Monday-Friday and as needed on weekends I will always leave your home the way it was when I walked in. I never mind cleaning messes as directed by pet parents. I come with a positive kind attitude to ensure no stress is transferred to your pet while you’re away.
About: What truly sets me apart as a Rover sitter is the heart and intention I bring to every pet I care for. My love for animals comes from deep personal experience, especially with my own dog, Candy, who meant the world to me. Losing her shaped the way I care for pets today—I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone else, because I’ve been that owner who wanted nothing but patience, gentleness, and genuine love for their dog. I don’t see pet sitting as just a service; I treat every pet as if they were my own, honoring the bond you share with them. Candy’s memory lives on through the care, attention, and compassion I give to every animal entrusted to me. 🐾💛 My full-time focus and a natural part of my daily routine. Being fully available allows me to structure my days around the pets I care for, not the other way around. I have the time and flexibility to give each pet consistent attention, timely walks, proper feeding, playtime, and companionship without feeling rushed or distracted. Because this is what I do full time, I’m able to be reliable, responsive, and truly present with every animal in my care, ensuring they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for throughout the day. The hands-on experience I’ve gained has been caring for my own dog and the pets of family and close friends. I was deeply involved in every part of their care—from daily routines and exercise to comfort, patience, and emotional support—learning how important consistency and trust are for pets to feel safe and happy. Caring for animals I loved taught me to be attentive, responsible, and gentle, and I carry that same level of dedication into every pet I care for today.🐾
“Alissa was seriously the best sitter ever. She took such great care of our dogs and our house. She sent so many pictures and are house was taken care of! She really exceeded our expectations and she definitely will be our sitter moving forward!”

“Logan was the best house and dog sitter we have ever had! We so appreciated the communication, photos, and time spent with the dogs while we were away. She was also great with the special care one of our dogs needed this time around. I didn’t feel the need to worry about them at all. And our house was clean and tidy when we returned, which was so nice!”
