“Yi Ling watched my dog over two weekends, and I was very happy with the care she provided. She was an excellent communicator, always punctual, and completely dependable. One thing to know is that she often watches more than one dog at a time. My dog did great in that environment and enjoyed the opportunity to socialize with other dogs. I would happily book with Yi Ling again!”

“Carson loved staying with Kyle and Desiree. He looked so happy in the pictures they sent me daily. He loved it so much, he seemed depressed when he came home. I would highly recommend them.”

“My dog did great with Delane and her family while we were gone for over two weeks. Delane kept in great touch with photos and my dog got to enjoy the fenced in back yard and some other dog friends. He had a great stay!”

“Kimberly took amazing care of my dog, Champ, while I was away! She communicated with me, sent lots of pictures, and gave me complete peace of mind knowing he was in such loving hands. Champ came home happy and completely worn out from all the playing and love he received. I couldn’t have asked for a better pet sitter. Highly recommend!”

“Sidney was great and gave me many updates on my pup. My dog loved her golden retriever. She looked like she had a bunch of fun. I would definitely use her for future dog boarding needs!”

“Great booking with Ryan and his wife. Got great updates and pictures. They have the perfect set up for dog sitting with a great yard, plenty of gates for separation, if needed, and gentle, but playful hosts.”

“Laurel and her family were perfect hosts. She sent daily updates and pictures to keep me up to date on Alfred’s activities. She was great in being flexible with drop off and pick up and I absolutely would book with her again 10/10.”

“Tamara was amazing! She is a great communicator. Kept me updated throughout the stay. Sent pictures and details that helped me feel better about a new sitter! Very nice and relaxed environment. Chewbacca loved Banjo and spending time with Tamara’s son. 100% would recommend, we will be back!”

“I would highly recommend Jessica and her family as a dog sitter. I have a pup who is a bit of a special needs guy and was very nervous leaving him with anyone. She came highly recommended and I see why. They treated him like he was part of the family. Thanks so much Jessica!”

“We were very happy that we found Erin and Sebastian to take care of Taz while we were on a trip. From our first meeting it was obvious they care about animals. Erin sent several updates and pictures during the week to let us know Taz was in good hands and doing fine. Will not hesitate to use them again if needed. Thanks again for your care.”
“Carrie was very good at communicating and sending pictures while I was away. She is very passionate about what she does and the dogs she cares for. Would definitely recommend!”

“This was the second time Curtis and his wife took care of our dog, Bono, and once again they were amazing. They treated him like their own and gave us complete peace of mind over the holidays. We came back to a happy, relaxed dog. We’re incredibly grateful and would absolutely trust them again.”

“Melissa took amazing care of Joey for us!! It was our first time using Rover and she made it a great experience. She provided us with plenty of updates and pictures every day. It made it so much easier on us and we knew he was in great hands. We can’t recommend her enough!!”

“We had a great experience with Alex. He is very kind and is a dog lover. He was great with communication and drop off pickup and being flexible with our times. He let us enjoy our trip but sent a few messages and took amazing photos of our dog Chip. He was thoughtful and gave us some prints and a magnet of his photography of our cutie pup Chip. We will definitely be using Alex again. Thank you!”

“Jamie & Joe are the BESTEST! It is such a comfort to know our dog, Peach is well taken care of when she is in their care. She is always excited to see them. That says alot. Thanks so much!”

“Elyssa was took extremely good care of our pets while we were gone for a week. She sent daily updates and photos and went above and beyond to make sure our pets were well cared for! I will definitely be rebooking her next time we go on vacation!”

“Evelyn watched our cats for 14 days while also giving medicine, playing with them and giving them lovings. We were so stressed about leaving our cats with a stranger, but she made the process so unbelievably easy, on top of the fact we have a diabetic cat and she went above and beyond ensuring nothing went wrong. So responsive to messages, sends noted and pictures daily and clearly made sure the litter didnt get out of hand -- absolutely no gross smells or messed by the time we came home. We will be looking for her on our next trip, especially considering how fast our cats took to her and how relaxed they were during the trip and when we came home. Thank you Evelyn so much for all that you do and for being you, you will be contacted again for our next trip, as said.”

“This was my first experience using Rover, and to be honest, I was initially worried. After asking a couple of pet sitters, I believe I made the best decision in choosing Amaya. I had the pleasure of having Amaya take care of my beloved cat, Baloo, and I couldn't be more impressed with the level of care and dedication she provided. Throughout her visits, Amaya went above and beyond to ensure Baloo's well-being. She consistently updated me with detailed messages, keeping me informed about Baloo's meals, water refreshments, litter box cleaning, and even the extra effort to engage him in play and brushing. What truly stood out was Amaya's patience and understanding of Baloo's shy nature. She took the time to let him come out and get used to her presence on his own terms, resulting in heartwarming progress. The updates she provided, such as Baloo coming out for pets and brushing, truly reflect her commitment to creating a comfortable and trusting environment for him. Amaya demonstrated not only professionalism but also genuine care and affection towards Baloo. Her efforts to make each visit a positive experience for him were evident, and I'm grateful for the progress she achieved in getting him to warm up. I highly recommend Amaya for her exceptional pet sitting services. Baloo and I are fortunate to have found someone so dedicated and caring. Thank you, Amaya, for your outstanding service!”

“Jamie and Joe were always prompt with visits and took great care of our little kitten! We came home to a well fed, clean and happy kitty ☺️ thank you so much!!!”

“Amber was great! She went above and beyond coming over to help me trim the nails of my two dogs. She is a prompt communicator and arrived on time. She provided her own clippers which unfortunately broke. Amber was able to come back the same day with a new pair of clippers to finish the job without an additional charge. Thank you, Amber!”

“Aj is absolutely wonderful with our two kitties and our home! Communication is quick, home visits are reliable, photos and thorough descriptions of the drop-ins are always provided, and most of all... both our cats (even our shy guy) are comfortable around Aj and get enough love/play that we get to come home to a happy house each time.”

About: I have always been around animals, never in my life have I not had a dog. Growing up I volunteered at the local animal shelter walking, training and taking care of the animals there. Once I got my own car I started sitting for friends and family. As a massage therapist I took animal massage courses in school, I am very comfortable handling animals. I love being outdoors and active, I am very excited about being a dog walker. In my home we are very relaxed, allowing our pets lots of room and freedoms to play inside and outside in the fenced yard as well as lounge on the couches and pet beds. We don't use crates or keep animals separated unless instructed by their people, we like for the dogs to be together and play with eachother! That being said, we do have spare rooms for pets that have social anxieties. I am currently working part time so I have plenty of time to care for your pups! When I work I am home by noon to give potty breaks and lots of love and attention! My back yard is a nice fenced yard for safe play time and potty breaks. I have 2 dogs to keep your furbaby company during their stay. Crates are available if preferred for alone time or night time.
“Emma was amazing! She helped us out for a week and went above and beyond taking care of the pets and cleaning up any messes they made. Would highly recommend!”

About: I've taken care of animals my whole life. I even have a special bond with animals because I understand them and get a long with them better than people. My friends and family have always relied on me to take care of their animals because they know that they will be good hands. I am currently not working so I have a lot of flexibility during the day. I also have a 7 year old son so when school gets out, I do have to pick him up from school. I have 2 cats who are free to roam around the house. I currently do not have any dogs but only because I have a low fence.

“This was our first time using a pet sitter, we were pretty nervous at first but Ashley quickly calmed our nerves. We're very grateful for her, and would 100% recommend her! She had a spare room where the cats stayed during their visit, a huge plus. It was nice knowing they had their own space to explore and relax. We will definitely be seeing Ashley again:)”

“Available pretty last minute and SO accommodating!! LOTS of photos and updates! Big play area with doggie friends! Patient and kind with our rescue dog with a history of severe physical abuse and a LOT of fear/abandonment anxiety. You can tell Carrie truly loves dogs and the dogs can tell too ❤️ Will DEFINITELY hire Carrie again ? (We are usually so worried to take our dogs anywhere else, and we can't leave them home alone... so we end up not being able to do a lot of things. This was so reassuring that we will be a lot more free!)”

“Jennifer was wonderful, I needed a last minute dog sitter for the day and she was fast to respond and setup arrangements. Her house was easy to find with nice dogs and a big backyard. I would definitely have my dog stay again :)”
“Ben is awesome! Super responsible, easy to communicate with and has extensive dog training experience. All of which means that we 100% trust him to take care of our dog and also provide enriching activities - leaving us with a tired and v happy dog at the end of the day!”

“Trixie has so much fun going to see Amelia and playing with her 2 dogs. I get pictures throughout the day, and Trixie is so happy and also worn out from playing when I pick her up. Great sitter!”

“Kyle & Desiree have been a tremendous help with Gene, & they are always great with communication, & also updates with photos & even descriptions of Gene's day/interactions. Couldn't ask for more.”

“Apple was great with our dogs, Jax and Lola. She came to our home a day before our scheduled drop off to meet them. My dogs instantly connected with apple and her daughter. I received pictures of how our dogs were doing during their stay. When I picked them up they seems happy and in good spirits. Thank you Apple for taking such great care of our loved ones.”

“A true dog whisperer. When I needed to find a sitter last minute AJ made accommodations perfectly. He made my pup feel at home from the minute he introduced himself. Not to mention how attentive he was to my pups needs. He had so much fun and almost didnt want to leave. Thank you AJ you're the best.”

“We had an unfortunate experience with another sitter and were super cautious using it again but Mariel absolutely exceeded our expectations. My dog is shy and takes awhile to warm up to people, however, my dog felt right at home with Mariel. She sent me pictures throughout the day (cause I'm needy and asked haha) And even brushed my dog for hours shedding a wig of hair off. I'm so glad we continued to use rover to find Mariel, I absolutely recommend her !”

“I highly recommend Evelyn! She took care of my puppy for the day and did an excellent job. After meeting with her, I felt very confident with my choice. Her home is clean and well suited to taking care of pets. She asked all the right questions so she could give him the best care. She was friendly, professional and communicated in a timely manner. My puppy immediately felt comfortable in her home and when I picked him up, he seemed content to just continue hanging out there:) I am very happy to have found a petsitter who gives me peace of mind that my dog is very well taken care of when I am away.”

I truly understand how important it is to keep pets in their normal routine while you're away and I have experience with training, medicine administration, and specialized diets as well as feeding schedules. My goal during every interaction with your babies is to make them as comfy as possible while maintaining their routine, and make them feel loved while their people are away. Pet care is a natural part of my own daily routine as I have my own dog & will ensure I plan my schedule around visits, walks, and check-ins to ensure your pets get consistent, loving attention. About: Pets are not just animals, they’re part of the family! Whenever I take care of an animal, I like to see myself in their… paws. I think to myself how I’d want to be treated, and make sure they get the best treatment possible. All through my life I have taken care of all of my pets from fish, to cats and dogs, and even moths and butterflies! Back home in Minnesota, I used to take care of two cats, Lucky and Gnocchi, which Gnocchi is now in the loving care of my grandparents, and Lucky has been watching from above for more than a few years now. I later took care of my cat, Foxy, who has since joined Lucky and both are watching my progress from above. Now, my dog Bailey is at home with two kittens, Ava and Johnny, who are currently being cared for by my mom. I miss my fluffy friends back home, and would love to make some new ones around the area! I currently have a part-time job at Raising Cane’s in Loveland, and I’m trying my best to keep my Rover schedule updated with my work schedule. I’m free for care all week, save for the hours I am at work, but I am always willing to drop in or stay over should the situation call for it. I’m willing to house-sit full-time, but I will need at least two weeks of notice in order to take the correct days off of work. Safety has always been my number one priority no matter what job I have been given. Risks and shortcuts are something I barely even know how to do, and instructions on what the owners want the sitter to do with their pets are the only thing that will be followed (along with basic common sense of course). I am readily available to read your pet’s emotions and figure out their needs from only a few little body language changes, and I will always give them the love and care that they deserve.
About: Hello, my name is May, and I use any pronouns. I grew up taking care of animals, and I have wanted to care, protect, treat, and defend them since I could breathe. I am a certified dog trainer and I have multiple years of professional animal care experience outside of Rover. My interests are medicine, welfare, conservation, education, and ecology. My skills are grooming, lodging, daycare, training, education, and medical care. I have even worked with dogs from k9 and search & rescue teams. I have experience caring for dog, cat, fish, turtle, chicken, guinea pig, lizard, and bird. I am a cat mother and fingers crossed a dog mom someday soon as well. I can take care of your pets/companion animals from any age, breed, or size. You name it, and I will be there for them. Common questions: What if my companion animal has a medical condition? You let me know what they need, and I can accommodate them, even if they have behavioral struggles. I am patient, understanding, and gentle. What if they need medications? No need to worry. I can administer medications via subcutaneous, transdermal, oral pills or liquids, or even instramuscular per perscription instructions. What if they are high energy? High energy animals have high activity levels, which means they require frequent exercise and attention. To accomodate these needs, I can be available for multiple daily visits, walk them, and even curate a training plan for them. Your animal family members deserve the best. They deserve a professional. Not just someone who loves them, but one who you can trust to care for them in every capacity while you're away in safe hands. My skills: ✨️ Administering medications (via any route; Oral liquid or pill, IM, SQ, Transdermal) ✨️ Grooming/Bathing ✨️ Nail Trims ✨️ Meal Prep & Feeding ✨️ Animal Behavior ✨️ Training ✨️ Medical Care Rover is something I fit into my life whenever I can while I work & continue education. Some seasons are busier than others, and that's normal. Companion Care is already a part of my daily life, so these requests come as a breeze for me. I try to update my calender monthly, but if things don't look right, if your other sitter isn't available, or if you just need someone ASAP, you are always free to message me any time in the app. I try to reply as soon as possible, but sometimes I don't recieve notifications, so it may take me a few hours to reply in some instances. My calender should reflect my un-availability at minimum. If you have any questions, please message me as I am flexible and will accommodate where possible. Keeping things fear-free as much as possible is a priority for me. I like to keep things calm, relaxing, and easy or neutral. When I meet them for the first time during the meet & greet, I wait for them to come up to me. It's what they are comfortable with. This helps everyone establish trust and familiarity. My hope is that I can be your go to whenever you need companion care. Sometimes, I use miracle tones to help with fear, it is soothing and calming for all. Wildlife or "Pet" TV is a great option to add to their environment while you are away as it helps them feel less alone and gives them something to interact with. I like to stick to a rhythm or routine. As I enter their palace, I introduce myself gently by using a high pitched soft tone and a treat. Then, I let them sniff me out before they welcome me through. About: 🐾 Personalized, Experienced Pet Care I provide attentive, compassionate pet care that’s tailored to each animal’s unique needs and personality. I have hands-on experience caring for dogs and cats of many breeds, sizes, and temperaments, and I take the time to truly understand each pet’s routine, energy level, and comfort needs so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. ⸻ 🐶 Specialized Experience: Puppies, Seniors & Foster Dogs I have extensive experience caring for very young animals who require close supervision, consistent routines, and positive guidance, as well as senior pets who need extra patience, gentle handling, and careful monitoring. I’ve also fostered many dogs, giving me experience supporting pets through transitions and helping them feel secure in new environments. I also have veterinary assistant experience in a veterinary hospital that includes patient support, client communication, and animal welfare. ⸻ 🐕 Reactive, Nervous & Training-Support Experience Through fostering and hands-on care, I’ve worked with reactive, nervous, and shy dogs, using calm handling and desensitization techniques to build confidence and reduce stress. I’m experienced in reading body language, preventing triggers, and creating structured, positive interactions that prioritize both the dog’s comfort and safety. ⸻ 🐈🐍🦜🐴 Multi-Species Animal Care In addition to dogs and cats, I have experience caring for reptiles, birds, and large animals. This has strengthened my ability to follow detailed care instructions, maintain proper environments, and recognize subtle changes in behavior or health across many species. ⸻ 🛡️ Safety-First & Detail-Oriented Care Safety is always my top priority with every animal I care for. I’m highly detail-oriented with feeding schedules, medications, enrichment, potty routines, and special instructions. I focus on secure handling, clean environments, and constant awareness to ensure pets are protected and comfortable at all times. ⸻ 💬 Reliable, Loving & Communicative Whether your pet needs calm companionship, structured activity, training support, or extra TLC, I’m committed to providing reliable, knowledgeable, and loving care. I value clear communication and want every owner to feel confident and at ease knowing their pet is in capable, caring hands. Pet care fits seamlessly into my daily and weekly routine. As a student in a veterinary technology program, animal care is already a central part of my life, and I structure my schedule to allow plenty of time and flexibility for pets in my care. This allows me to be reliable and attentive with dog walks, drop-in visits, and care while owners are away, without rushing or cutting corners. I’m used to planning my days around animals’ needs, including consistent feeding times, exercise, enrichment, and observation. Because of this, I’m able to provide dependable, focused care and give each pet the time and attention they deserve. I also take great pride in taking pictures and updates of the animals in my care. So you can also feel connected and comfortable being away from your furry companions. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I focus on providing a safe, structured, and comfortable environment that meets each pet’s individual needs. I live in an apartment but am surrounded by nature trails, which allows for plenty of exercise, enrichment, and mental stimulation through regular walks and outdoor time. In my home, pets have designated, secure areas for rest, feeding, and play, and I carefully manage space to prevent stress or unsafe interactions. I do not have any permanent animals in my residence, which allows me to fully focus on the pets in my care, though I do foster puppies occasionally with proper separation and supervision. Safety is always a top priority—I follow secure leash practices, maintain a clean environment, monitor behavior closely, and strictly follow owner instructions to ensure every pet feels protected, comfortable, and well cared for at all times.

“I would highly recommend Jessica and her family as a dog sitter. I have a pup who is a bit of a special needs guy and was very nervous leaving him with anyone. She came highly recommended and I see why. They treated him like he was part of the family. Thanks so much Jessica!”

“Carrie was very good at communicating and sending pictures while I was away. She is very passionate about what she does and the dogs she cares for. Would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my entire life, but most of my pet care experience comes from my own dog, Tuna. I adopted Tuna in 2014, when he was a year old, and he lived with me for 12 wonderful years until he crossed the rainbow bridge in October 2025. I am becoming a Rover sitter to bring the companionship of a dog back into my life while offering other pet parents the highest level of dedicated care. Through caring for Tuna and my family's dogs over the years, I have extensive experience with all types of dogs, including highly active young adults and seniors requiring specialized care. As a former pet parent, I understand how stressful it is to leave your dog with someone else and trust they will be cared for as you would. I aim to ease that stress with loving, supportive, and dedicated care. I have included more detailed information on my experience below. Senior care: -Experienced in administering daily oral medications and supplements while managing strict dosing schedules. -Familiar with guiding dogs through physical therapy exercises, managing arthritis, and accommodating the slower pace of aging pets. -Experienced in managing complex nutritional needs, including transition care, dehydrated food, and preparing fresh meals from scratch. -Ability to manage specialized routines, including transporting pets to appointments such as veterinary acupuncture or maintaining routines for such appointments. Behavioral needs: -Experienced caring for a highly reactive dog with a history of abuse. -Familiar with reading dog body language, avoiding triggers during walks, and managing anxious or fearful dogs. -Skilled at establishing a calm, low-stress environment for dogs who need extra time to warm up to new people or spaces. Exercise needs: -Well-versed in safely handling dogs while hiking, camping, and swimming in the Colorado outdoors. -Accustomed to providing multiple structured walks a day, tailored to your dog's energy level. Hygiene needs: -Routine experience with monthly bathing, nail trimming, and ear cleaning. I work almost entirely from home Monday through Friday (9 a.m. to 5 p.m.). While I keep regular work hours, my job offers excellent flexibility. This means your pup won't be left alone; I am readily available throughout the day for potty breaks, neighborhood walks, and dedicated playtime. If your pet requires a specific medication schedule, multiple feedings a day, or extra companionship while you are away, I can seamlessly integrate their routine into my workday. When your pet is with me, they are treated like family. I aim to provide a safe, structured, and deeply affectionate environment so you can have total peace of mind. If they are used to cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed, they are more than welcome to do so. However, I am happy to enforce any house rules and boundaries you already have in place. Overall, I maintain a very clean, organized, and pet-proofed home. All trash cans have lids, plants are kept out of reach, and miscellaneous items are never left out where a dog can reach them. I live in a third-floor apartment with no elevator. My home is best suited for dogs who are fully mobile or small enough to be easily carried, as we will need to navigate two flights of stairs for every outing. My apartment complex features a private dog park and plenty of walking paths. I also have access to a community doggy bathing station, which is perfect if your dog requires bathing while in my care.
“Timea was great with Blanko and made sure he was comfortable and safe during the fireworks on the 4th. She was very communicative and gave plenty of updates. Will be using her services again”
“We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter during such a difficult time. While we were laying my grandmother to rest, Misty gave us peace of mind and even a reason to smile. Her communication was excellent, lots of photos and videos that really helped ease my wife’s stress. When our flight got canceled, she graciously kept our dog an extra day without hesitation, which meant so much to us. Our dog clearly had an amazing time. She fell in love with her daughter and played tons of catch. We will absolutely be using her again. Only downside? When we got home, our dog was bored 😂 which tells you everything.”
