She made us feel very comfortable and we took Yoshi over for a pre-visit. Once we went on vacation. She also was able to work through Yoshi's quirks when being at a new place and kept us up to date on his progress. After about three days, he settled into his routine and things were good. She took care of my old dog and my very high energy and also leash reactive Labrador. She took lots of photos communicated with a detailed description about every time she saw them and also notified me about when one of them had an accident from an upset stomach. She even played ball in addition to taking them out for a walk every day and went above and beyond so that my dogs had enough stimulation while I was gone. I would definitely use her again. Lucy sent lots of photos and as a first-time daycare user, she walked me through the process of leaving Georgie with her. Lucy gave great feedback on how Georgie was doing during the day with the other dogs and humans. Lucy has the house set up for (and clear knowledge about) how to facilitate the dogs first interactions and how they navigated - play, eating, napping, indoor and outdoor activity - etc. throughout the day. About: Since a young age I've loved and cared for animals big and small. I grew up on a hobby farm with animals ranging from horses and chickens to dogs and cats. As an adult, I have had three dogs of my own (Rescued Aussie's & a Pommie) and a special needs cat who I had to administer sub-cutaneous fluids to on a weekly basis. My dogs have also needed medications administered and consider myself a geriatric pet specialist. I currently have a potty trained indoor rabbit who I absolutely adore. Between having pets of my own, I have taken the opportunity to care for other peoples animals through Trusted House Sitters where I have cared for up to 7 animals at a time (3 dogs, 2 cats, 2 rabbits). I love getting out for long walks, hikes and adventures with dogs as well as just snuggling up and giving fur babies lots of love and pets. I'm a mother of two school aged children, I stayed home with them when they were babies and am looking for flexible work while they are still young. I have nannied and cared for other families kids and pets for the last 2 years. I love caring for children both the human and the furry variety. About: We share our home with a 15 years young, grumpy old-man Chihuahua, a 7-year old Chihuahua mix, and a new Husky-mix puppy. Dogs provide us with so much love and kindness on a daily basis, that's why I believe we should offer that same kindness back to them! Rochelle has been caring for dogs for well over a decade, from totally healthy to those needing special care (medicine, slower walks, special feeding requirements). In general, our pups get along great with low-energy dogs and low-energy dogs are ideal clients! Though, the puppy can also help us with higher energy pups. Rochelle works from home full time. We REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to booking new clients, no exceptions. Due to medical concerns, Rochelle is only able to care for small to medium size dogs for the safety of your dog(s) and my own safety. Willing to consider dogs who are larger in size only if they have completed intensive behavioral training (such as therapy dog training or hunting dog training) in which your dog will respond to commands 100% of the time.
