“Great Rover sitter and dog walker. He really takes care of our girls, even with their individual needs. They seem much happier after he comes by and it helps us keep our energetic dog happy!”

“Matthew was great and really helped us out in a vacation in a vacation bind. He was reliable, communicative and very good with our dog who is a strong 65lb pup. We will for sure hire him again!”

“Sasha did an excellent job walking Leopold. He’s a strong, high energy German Shepherd puppy, and she handled him confidently and calmly. She honestly walked him better than I do, and I’d absolutely trust her with him again.”

“Steve helped ensure our pup had great walks while my family was out of town and our pup was staying with our elderly mother-in-law who didn't feel comfortable walking such a big dog. Steve gave our 70-pound bernedoodle a nice stroll around the neighborhood to tire him out and get him some exercise every day we were gone. We will absolutely re-book Steven whenever we go out of town again!”

About: As an animal lover, I have always been happy to look over and hangout with any of my friend and families pets. That being said, I have lots of experience caring for animals. Including my own border collie who I love to take on walks, got to the dog park, and just be outside with! I am currently home for the summer looking to make more money for college, so I have a very free and flexible schedule throughout the week! I have a fenced yard and the sweetest border collie pup who has lots of toys and is walked regularly! I also live in a great neighborhood with easy access to parks and great trails!
About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life. I’ve cared for dogs ages 2 months-15 years. I have experience with dogs who need medication and special care. I volunteered with the humane society of boulder valley for many years and have completed basic care courses for dogs. I currently have a Blue Heeler and a Corgi who are both quirky sweet boys! I have a flexible work schedule and have free hours during the day to take some pups out to get fresh air or drop-in and say hello to your furry friends. I have handled dogs of all types: golden retrievers who think everyone is their best friend, terriers with a big attitude, cattle dogs who think they are walking me, etc :). I am equipped to handle situations with pets and am very confident in my ability to keep pets safe and happy!

About: I have had dogs my entire life, from a poodle when I was a child to labs and a husky as an adult. I rent now, so sadly am unable to have a pet now and miss the love they give. I have not had cats, but have had roommates who have cats and have occasionally assisted in their care. I do enjoy and love all animals. I will be happy to take your pet on long or short walks, feed, and play with your furry friend. I am mature and responsible.
“Shannon took our dog out for a nice walk with short notice, which we appreciated very much as we were at the hospital. The report card showed the route and relayed how much our dog enjoyed the walk. Thank you, Shannon! You're our 'go to' for our beloved pets.”

“Mishel is the best! Professional, flexible, reliable and prompt. She is very good at communicating, sending pictures- I know my pup is in good hands! She’s been accommodating for last min changes, and always kind. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi! I’m a work from home data analyst and a non-practicing licensed veterinary technician. I’m great with dogs and cats - I can walk, treat and medicate, and even administer insulin injections or SQ fluids to both cats and dogs. Check me out on Linkedin! (Mayra Ramirez, MPH) FYI - I did just start going into the office on Tuesdays, but let’s talk, my schedule is flexible! Since I work from home, I have the liberty of taking your dogs on frequent potty breaks/walks and giving them extra attention as needed. I have a little female dog named Sasha (vaxxed and spayed) that loves the company of dogs similar in size! Message me for more information. I have a spacious home with a backyard where they can free roam and will also happily walk your pet around our neighborhood. Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
