I live in the Nederland area and have a 4wd vehicle with high clearance, so no problems navigating mountain life for your pets! I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dog - I’ve raised rescue pups to mature gentleman & well-mannered ladies, and they’ve ranged in size from a 100lbs Golden Retriever/Chow mix to a 13lbs Pug/Shitzu. I’m a stay at home pet momma with a flexible schedule that allows me to can care for your fur babies overnight in your home. I live on five unfenced acres and walk my two dogs (always on leash) around Nederland, Sugarloaf, and surrounding areas of the Canyons. I’d be happy to go on leashed walks/hikes with your doggos! or if you have a yard, I’d be happy to watch your pup closely as we enjoy unleashed play time. I am accustomed to and prepared for mountain life and the variables it brings (wildlife, weather, fires, etc.).

About: I have once had 7 cats and 3 dogs in my household, it was the most exciting years ever! I have a lot of availability to walk your furry companions as well as transportation too. I am super comfortable with puppies and senior care as well, as I have grown up with these different ages at a time. I’m looking forward for this new journey for me and for those looking for a new pet sitter! Pet care is in my daily routine because here in Boulder I have an 8 year old cat I take care of. I am very available though to watch other animals and take them on walks or just hang out with them! I care pets based on what their routine is as well as what they truely like. I’ve grown up with animals my whole life but my cat is my first like owned pet as an adult and I’ve learned so much. I do understand dogs and cats are so different as well as there are so many different personalities for different cats and dogs. About: I'm a 20 year old college student currently studying at CU Boulder! I previously spent my summers working at a pet daycare and boarding facility. I now spend my summers in Boulder due to school, but would love to keep caring for pets! I've cared for both dogs and cats of all ages including seniors and puppies. At my family home in Georgia, I also get to spend my summers with my two family dogs, Mila and Bella, who are both Cane Corsos! My family has also had a Boxer and a Chihuahua so I'm familiar and comfortable with dogs of all sizes and temperaments. I am a student at the University of Colorado Boulder however I am only taking one summer class daily from 9-12 AM. I am typically an early riser which is great to help accomodate to pets who have early morning potty walks or meals. My time spent on campus is very little so I have lots of free time and flexibility to tend to pets individual needs! I have a fenced backyard within the house that I live at which is small, so it could be good for a quick potty run. However I live within a 10 minute walk of multiple large parks with lots of grass and they are easily accessible from my home which is great for potty walks or just long regular walks. I don't live with any roommates currently so it is just me around your pet! Intermittently my roommate will come stop by though, but she is also a certified Rover sitter so she is perfectly comfortable around any pets. I'm also a firm believer that sheets and blankets can always be washed so I encourage pets to make themselves feel at home.

About: I have been taking care of dogs since I was old enough to understand their basic needs. I've helped with my own pets, neighbors, family, friends, and anyone in need. I will always find it worthwhile to give each pet their share of love and attention. I love getting to know each furry friend and understanding how their individual quirks slightly alter each of their needs. I have experience with dogs of all ages from puppies 8 weeks old to senior dogs. I have done daily check ins or overnight stays with them and will always make the dog or dogs a priority in my schedule. I enjoy playing with all dogs and I am also very good at calming them down when needed. I truly appreciate all the joys dogs bring to us and would make sure your dog is extremely well taken care of and given proper attention. Pet care is always a priority in my day. I must always make sure that my pets are taken care throughout the whole day. I enjoy giving them their proper attention and exercise. I have a pretty free and open schedule right now which allows me to give dogs the maximum amount of care that they require. Most importantly, I will always follow any instructions and guidelines that are given to me by my client. They know their pets best and I don't want to cause stress to any dogs by straying far from their normal routines. Within what the client requests, I will always have the dog at the forefront of my mind. I would be respectful of my client's home whether I am staying there or stopping by. If their pet came to my home, I would ensure there are no dangers or potential problems in my home before and make sure the dog is feeling safe and comfortable in a new environment.
