About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks to 10 years that sadly passed away a couple years back. Needless to say I dont mind being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I typically watch one or multiple dogs at a time from the same owner. I will only watch dogs from different owners if the dogs are all dog friendly and all owners agree to it. I enjoy going on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. About: Although I am long distance from my fur best friends right now, I’ve grown up caring for dogs my entire life, including senior dogs and pups with disabilities. I also raised a rambunctious yellow Lab puppy on my own, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities. About: Hello! I’m a retired Special Education teacher. My passion is dogs and the care and training of dogs. When your furr baby is staying with me, she or he is my priority. I am patient, caring and truly want your furr baby to have a safe, engaging and fun time while in my care. I’d love to take your furr baby for walks and/ or give cuddles; as desired. I first became available on Rover in 2017, first working in California and now in Colorado. I work full-time at home and will give your sweet furr baby all the time, care and exercise he or she needs. I’m currently at home full-time. I have plenty of time for your furr baby Please schedule pickup & drop-off times between 7am - 9:30pm. Thank you. I have two dogs and two cats. One dog is a friendly, small-sized older dog. He is calm and will engage with your furr baby as much as they want. I also have a large breed female dog. She is sweet, curious and well-behaved. I have four available crates if you use crating. The cats have separate areas and mostly stay in their own room during dog boarding.
About: I have grown up with dogs all around and seen how much love and care they deserve. I know that not everyone has time to get them out as much as needed and I want to help keep as many pets happy as I can! Since moving to Boulder I have dog sat many times and I love how it gets me out of the house more than normal and gives me happiness like no other! Currently I am an online student so my schedule is very flexible! I am in the unique situation to put your pets needs at the top of the list and I want to take full advantage of that. When I am dog sitting or just watching a dog for few hours I make sure they have food when needed, I keep their water full and fresh, play with them, and give them plenty of love. About: I am a total animal person :) I love all animals and especially dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own companion. I love to reward them with high quality treats and natural peanut butter. I grew up taking care of all types of animals. I had chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, fish etc.. I have been training dogs for 28 years and have watched and read a lot of dog training videos and books. Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I understand how to deal with all types of personalities/ quirks and needs from my wide range of dogs I have cared for. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.
About: I’ve been dog sitting for a year for a 1-year-old, now 2 years old, lab puppy. I am offering walks, drop in visits, and day care. I mostly work from home as I finish up nursing school, so I am often free for care! I only work twice a week and will be free entirely for the next few months as I study for my NCLEX for nursing. Pet care would be a happy distraction and a great use of my free time! I always give 100% of my attention to the animals I care for and love taking them for walks and playing outside!
