Highlights
Pet care experience
I love walks and dogs and dog walks
- I can only board dogs that are ok around cats and other dogs. - I offer more attention to elderly dogs (medication, accidents, assisted walks, etc.) - I live on a mountain property of 13 beautiful acres with a fenced dog run and endless trails for us to explore. - I prioritize keeping my home safe for all animals. This includes clean & high kitchen counters, stair gates, and access to fresh well water. I never have dangerous foods or objects in my home. - I play the oboe and I will teach your dog to sing along :)

I highly recommend Lisa! It was my dogs first time with a dog sitter and Lisa made me feel assured that my dog was being treated like her own. I can tell he had the best time and was well cared for. Lisa provided many updates and pictures and I very much appreciated knowing that my dog was safe and happy while I was away hiking! Thanks again Lisa :)

We call Lisa’s place camp. Scrappy had a great time! He was clearly loved by both the people and the pets there! He had multiple beautiful outings each day, his choice of sleeping arrangements and plenty of love! Plus tons of photos! He usually won’t eat when he separated from us, but he ate there, we were afraid he wouldn’t wanna come home.

Such a caring and easy to communicate with pet carer!

Lisa took excellent care of my dog, Aster. I’ve used highly rated boarding services in the past, but Aster often came home stressed and even needed medication. With Lisa, she was completely relaxed when I picked her up—I’m pretty sure she would have happily stayed longer.

Lisa is amazing, super kind and caring and very responsible! Henry, our bouncy black lab, had a great time and we had no worries at all during some recent travel. We have found a new family for Henry to stay with when we need some extra help. Definitely don't hesitate to book!
Pico loved the video (audio). Thank you,

Schedule
My daily routine revolves around the care and happiness of my pets. From sunrise to sunset, I ensure they are well-fed, groomed, and enriched, whether that’s through training, socialization, or exploring the mountains around my property. My dogs get to bask in the sun, relax by the fireside, and run freely through the trees. As the principal oboist in the Longmont Symphony, I occasionally have evening rehearsals or performances in town, but my schedule is designed to prioritize my pets’ well-being. Living in the mountains allows me to provide them with a uniquely fulfilling life filled with fresh air, scenic trails, and peaceful surroundings.

Home characteristics
Safety, trust & environment
When pets stay in my home, they become part of the family. I provide a safe, nurturing environment tailored to their individual needs. My mountain property offers plenty of room for outdoor adventures, including scenic walks through the trees and time to bask in the sun or relax by the fireside. I ensure their comfort by providing cozy spaces to rest, high-quality food or a diet they are accustomed to, and ample playtime to keep them mentally and physically stimulated. Each pet is treated with individualized care, whether they prefer quiet cuddles, active play, or structured routines. I also maintain a clean and safe environment, with close attention to their health, hygiene, and behavior.
Pets
A typical day
I’m passionate about creating a fun, enriching, and relaxing environment for every pet I care for. Whether it’s exploring the beautiful mountain trails around my home, playing fetch in the yard, or cuddling by the fireside, I make sure every dog gets the activities they love most. I enjoy engaging their minds with sniff walks, puzzle toys, and scent games, and if they’re musically inclined, I’ll even play the oboe for them! Many dogs find it soothing, and some even enjoy singing along—it’s such a joy to see their unique personalities shine. I also offer acupressure, stretching, and massage for dogs, helping them feel their best physically and emotionally. These techniques are especially great for senior pets, active pups, or those recovering from injuries. Combined with plenty of personalized care, your pet will feel happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away. For adventurous pups, we can go on hikes or play active games like tug-of-war. For senior or quieter dogs, I provide gentle care, cozy spots to rest, and calming one-on-one attention. My goal is to ensure every pet has a safe, relaxing, and enjoyable experience tailored to their individual needs.
