About: Dogs in our house are part of the family. We are a mother & son (age 14) combo with 2 dogs in the house (friendly, sweet spayed females). We have been loving and caring for dogs since we were both little, providing the best care for our price and will make your dog feel like it's at home! We have a fully fenced-in large yard and dog door. If you crate your dog, we have one in the house so that you don't have to bring yours. You can certainly bring your own dog bed, but we also have one that your pup can utilize. We also have stuffs, toys, leashes & bowls, so don't fret if you forget anything. Your furry-buddy is allowed to cuddle on the couch with us or wherever they find comfort. If the weather permits and your dog is accustomed to going to the dog park, they can join us on trips to play. We have both gone through dog training programs, most recently Ted Terroux. Clean house, well cared-for, loving home. ***** Please reach out if you need a date that shows as "unavailable" as we might be able to make a special accommodation for your dog & past clients. ***** As a teacher & student, we are on summer break and have lots of availability. During the school year, we work and go to school during the week. We are able to go home mid-day for potty breaks. We we home on weekends and during breaks (Spring Break, Summer, Fall Breaks & Winter Breaks). We have several "regular" clients that have a proven track record with our dogs.... Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. So, please send us a message as we are often available for other dates not made public on the calendar. We look forward to getting to know you and your fur baby! We have a great record of caring for our dogs and we will be able to safely and reliably take care and keep your dog safe and happy in a comfortable and clean home. We typically feed our dogs in the morning and evening, but can accommodate your pups needs. Our home is very clean and well taken care of. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.
“Shanik and family are wonderful pet hosts. Mila loved to spend the days with them. She was happy to play ball outside in the snow for her first time. Shanik took care of Mila while my family and I were out skiing. Mila felt like she was home! Thank you!”

About: Morgan McMurdy, CPDT-KA I have a flexible schedule and years of experience with boarding kennels, pet retail, dog walking, training and grooming! I offer dog training services using humane and effective methods to foster better communication, trust, and partnership with your dog (Contact me for training inquiries)! This training experience means that any time your pet is with me, I can retain and refine their manners and basic skills, sometimes even teaching them something new! Please feel free to call me to talk more if you have any questions! I also can give your pup a wash and basic trim if they're staying with me. I work from my van, traveling full time to serve the pups of the CO front range and beyond! I also offer virtual and in-person training services and can meet with you to help tackle behavior and training problems. In the van, I have safety tethers and a secure 36" crate or smaller to travel in. Dogs staying with me must not have car sickness issues or they'll have a rough time and I wouldn't want to put them through that. Happy to offer drop-ins and house sitting instead for those pups! All of my work is done using safe, yet effective and fun methods! As a certified professional dog trainer, I adhere to the CCPDT Code of Ethics, which means I treat both my human and furry clients with respect and care! Most of my work involves the use of rewards like treats, play, attention, and access to things our dogs want most. And to prevent or decrease unwanted behavior, I use short time-outs, withholding of rewards, or redirection to another productive activity. Feel free to ask questions if you want to learn more about how I train. As far as living with dogs, we travel full time and they get to see all sorts of sights, sounds, and smells, sure to leave them happy and tired when they go home. It also offers me opportunity to walk them in fun new places and find environments that best suit their needs and comfort levels. In client's homes, I aim to leave the home in as good or better condition than I arrived. I treat all dogs under my care as if they were my own, and I make sure that I leave my pups with something to do before I head out. Satefy is always my top priority! I off-leash hiked dogs for a few years and know all about how to safely manage all kinds of "furry" situations. I utilize my crates for naptime, travel, separation during mealtimes, or if a pup simply wants a safe and quiet place to rest.
“Stephanie was absolutely wonderful! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. She was incredibly kind, responsive, and communicative from start to finish, and she sent thoughtful updates throughout the day that gave me so much peace of mind. My dog, Nellie, can be pretty sensitive, and Stephanie was so patient and caring with her. It’s clear she has a natural way with dogs and creates an environment where they feel safe and comfortable. I felt completely at ease leaving Nellie in her care, which is saying a lot. I would recommend Stephanie without hesitation and will absolutely book with her again!”

“We are very pleased to have found Chris. He was great with our senior dog who can have some anxiety with new places. Chris communicated well and is very kind. Zeke looks forward to his next visit!”

“We have been traveling for a week and changing plans due to the lack of snow so we made a very last minute request and Emma was super flexible and communicative. She took great care of Minnie! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.”

About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. I am not certified trainer - and don’t consider myself one -but was able to potty train and teach our pet a few tricks and special family words we use with him. Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is protective but friendly, he will bark a lot at first until he gets acquainted and comfortable with others around him and us. We as a family (my husband and two children) enjoy going for walks and our children are also very caring and respectful with pets. I have a flexible work schedule and can adjust to your needs. I am available also on weekends and flexible with late/early drop off or pick up. We have a fenced yard at our home and the yard is spacious. Our home is a two story home. We also have plenty of areas to walk around the neighborhood and nearby trails (Standley lake, Arvada Parks & trails, Golden, Boulder). Our 13 y/o Chihuahua is crate trained. I do not have extra crates but can use your dog's/cat's crate as needed or as you instruct.
“Alison did an incredible job caring for Ari and making sure she had the best day with new dog friends! Ari had previous less than ideal experiences at doggy daycare, so we are so grateful to Alison for helping us rewrite that narrative for Ari.”

“Our dog Ollie is generally pretty anxious when we leave him away. With Rui, he calmed down really quickly and they had a great day! Rui provided updates and many pictures at the conclusion of Ollie’s stay”

“Jacky was amazing!!! She was very fast in responding, super friendly, and accommodated my two dogs (one of which can be dog selective). She truly went above and beyond taking care of them. Very lucky to have found her!! Thank you Jacky!!”

“Sarah is an awesome pet sitter. My Border Collie adjusted well to his 3 daycare stays. Sarah’s Aussie was a great companion for Rio. When I picked him up, I could sense he was treated well.”

About: Although I am long distance from my fur best friends right now, I’ve grown up caring for dogs my entire life, including senior dogs and pups with disabilities. I also raised a rambunctious yellow Lab puppy on my own, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all ages, energy levels, and personalities. I believe every dog deserves patience, love, and attentive care, and I’ll treat yours like they’re my own. As a college student, I’m looking to earn some extra income doing something I genuinely love—caring for animals. My class schedule is very flexible, which gives me plenty of time to provide your pet with the attention, exercise, and companionship they deserve. Whether it’s a long walk, playtime, sticking to a routine, or simply keeping them company while you’re away, I’m committed to making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved. Pet care fits naturally into my everyday life, and I truly enjoy getting to know each pet’s unique personality. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. My home has a fully fenced yard for safe outdoor play and plenty of space to relax indoors. There is almost always someone home to provide attention, companionship, and care, so your pet will rarely be left alone. I am a caring, responsible household and will treat your pet like a member of the family while they’re in my care.

About: We share our home with a 15 years young, grumpy old-man Chihuahua, a 7-year old Chihuahua mix, and a new Husky-mix puppy. Dogs provide us with so much love and kindness on a daily basis, that's why I believe we should offer that same kindness back to them! Rochelle has been caring for dogs for well over a decade, from totally healthy to those needing special care (medicine, slower walks, special feeding requirements). In general, our pups get along great with low-energy dogs and low-energy dogs are ideal clients! Though, the puppy can also help us with higher energy pups. Rochelle works from home full time. We REQUIRE a meet and greet prior to booking new clients, no exceptions. Due to medical concerns, Rochelle is only able to care for small to medium size dogs for the safety of your dog(s) and my own safety. Willing to consider dogs who are larger in size only if they have completed intensive behavioral training (such as therapy dog training or hunting dog training) in which your dog will respond to commands 100% of the time. Thank you for your understanding. Note: I had a name change in 2024 from Caitlyn to Rochelle. Ben was added to the account in 2026. We’re happy to share our home with pups!

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Coal Creek commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
