About: New to rover but not new to caring for pets. I have learned every pet is different and has their own personality and preferences. I also have learned to adapt to our aging pet’s lifestyle and limitations but make sure we still provide adequate movement and stimulation for him. Thus, we are able to board mid-week *if* your dog is COOL (plays well, non-destructive, low flight risk), and knows how to use a doggie door. There is a main level in which we hang out with great room, office and kitchen. The dogs have free-roam of the main level which has laminate flooring, but covered with carpet squares as one of our dogs does not like walking on hardwood floors. So, it is mostly carpeted for her comfort. We have a large sectional in which we allow dogs to snuggle with us while watching TV. The LARGE yard is mostly grass, some mulch/landscaped trees & shrubs, with concrete patio in which we spend a lot of time dining and reading. We pick up poop DAILY. During the evening, if you request your dog could be crated in the bedroom in which one of us is sleeping as dogs are pack animals and they don't like being separated from the pack. We keep them close to us. But, we want to keep everyone safe, so the crate is available (optional) for their safety as well as ours/our pets. But again, they are slumbering in the same room with us.

About: I’m Leo. Your dog will get walks, play, photos, and real company, not an empty house. I won’t only do these things because they need it but I’m happy to. I go hiking or biking almost every day. All sizes. I’ll follow your routine. You get updates the whole time. Request a meet and greet and we’ll go from there. I bet ill love your dog more than they love me. I’m a sophomore living on the Hill in Boulder. Most days look the same, which is good for dogs. I walk to campus for about an hour of class in the morning. Then I come straight home. I make lunch, take your dog out, hang on the floor with them, throw a toy, or just let them nap next to me while I study. That stretch in the middle of the day is a few hours, so they are not sitting in an empty place waiting. Afternoon class is one to two hours. Same thing after: walk home, another outing, water, treats, and time together. Nights I am home. Your dog will not be alone for more than two hours. If they need a mid-day walk, extra play, or just someone in the room, that is already built into how my day works. I’ll treat your dog how I’d want mine (really my mom’s) to be treated. I'm happy to give you access to my Amazon Alexa so you can see and maybe even interact with your dog. My place on the Hill is set up for dogs first. Doors stay shut, trash is put away, cords and anything chewable get picked up before a guest arrives. If I have your dog, they are not loose in a room I have not already checked. I do a meet and greet so we both know the vibe before any overnight. I follow your rules on food, crate, meds, and where they sleep. I do not leave them loose with the front door or windows open. When I leave for class they are either crated if that is what you want or in a safe closed-off space, and I am never gone more than two hours. Trust for me is simple. You get photos and a short update when I get home and when we go out. If something feels off I tell you right away instead of hoping it blows over. If you also have a cat, I keep them separate from dogs unless you say they already live together. Litter, food, and a quiet room stay theirs. I do not force handling. I let them come to me. The goal is a calm house, not a chaotic one. I live alone in an apartment, so I’m happy to have your pet as a buddy.

I grew up with many varieties of animals among the years and numerous cats and dogs. I have always been a huge animal lover and can't wait until I have the property and space to home more friends! Until then, I am eager to meet others' animals and help take care of them and give them lots of love! The very first thing I have always done at new people's houses with animals is greet all of the animals. I am a highly energetic individual with a strong eye that seeks to pay attention to the needs of other beings. I have two cats and a fish that I give lots of love and attention daily - and looking forward to caring more for other animals too! I do not have a home space in which I am capable of taking in others animals currently, but I take care of the pets at the owners home this same way! First thing when I get home is to greet my pets and give them attention and love. I play for a little and then check to see the water bowl is full (and for my cats that the food is also - I know dogs are on a schedule). With dogs, I would regularly schedule times to take them out for walks - and make sure I match them for however they wanna walk! (Slow, adventurous, running a little faster) I make sure that I have plenty of plastic bags and treats to take with on the walk. I do not like to leave dogs alone for more than 2-4 hours. I love interacting with animals and giving them lots of attention!

I've lived with animals most of my life and pet sit for friends and family regularly. While I'm in a transitional time in my life, I have all the time in the world to take your pet on a nice walk (I also LOVE the outdoors), or to the local dog park, and make sure they get a meal if needed. About: I care quite a lot about animals. I have great communication skills and I’m very flexible. I strive to make sure everything goes smoothly to ensure that owner is anxiety free. Not much daily care though I am currently a full time student. But this upcoming fall I have 4 days of open time to be able to be around much more. And staying flexible. If you’re in Boulder, I can house sit any day of the week and do drop-ins throughout the day. Monday-Friday I can do drop-ins and stay overnight if you are in Boulder or the Boulder area. Friday-Sunday I can stay overnight and be with your pet/s full-time in or outside of Boulder. I listen to what your pet needs, whether that be some space or love/cuddles. “We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

About: I have five years of hands-on experience caring for both dogs and cats. My experience began when I fostered a mother cat and her six very young kittens. Several had respiratory infections, so I carefully administered their prescribed medication and monitored their care. I found loving homes for four of the kittens and adopted the other two. I later worked at a humane society and have also provided pet sitting for neighbors and family members. I raised my Doberman from 11 weeks old and have personally handled his basic training, exercise, enrichment, and daily routine. Having lived with pets throughout my life, I’m comfortable following detailed care instructions and giving every animal patient, attentive, and dependable care. Pet care is my primary professional focus, allowing me to offer dependable availability and give each booking my full attention. I provide walks, drop-ins, and limited boarding throughout the week. To ensure personalized care and a calm home environment, I board only one guest dog at a time, subject to availability and a successful meet-and-greet. I provide walks and drop-in care in my clients’ homes, as well as limited boarding in my own home. My home has a securely fenced one-acre yard with plenty of room for supervised exercise and play. I have a Doberman and three cats, with separate areas available so animals can have their own secure space when needed. I board only one guest dog at a time and require a meet-and-greet before confirming a stay. Introductions are handled gradually and supervised carefully, and pets are separated during meals and whenever supervision is not possible. Before every booking, I review each pet’s routine, temperament, feeding instructions, medical needs, emergency contacts, and behavioral considerations. Pet parents receive regular photos and updates throughout their pet’s stay or visit.
