Doggy Day Care in Whispering Pine

About: I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. The last 10 years I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks that sadly passed away last summer. Needless to say I miss being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I enjoy taking dogs on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. Dogs are always welcome in my home! I have plenty of space with a fenced in yard and dogs are allowed on the couch and in the bed. I’m easy to work with, patient (some dogs just like to sniff more than they walk), communicative, and can adjust to any preferred care strategy to provide a trustworthy service while you’re away.

Your dog can expect lots of walks, hikes, playing in our backyard, and many cuddles! About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life! I had three cats and a dog growing up, along with helping out with pets of my other family members. I did an unpaid internship at a veterinary hospital so I know how important it is to take good care of our animals! I’m currently in college classes for a few hours a day during weekdays, so I have plenty of time to spend with your pets! I like to be outdoors as much as possible and having a pet companion makes it all the more enjoyable for me. I live in a clean and cozy townhouse very near multiple parks and paths. I use harnesses and good judgment while on excursions. I am trained in pet care, proper hydration, nutrition, and herbalism for pets. I never raise my voice and use positive reinforcement and fun to enlist cooperation. Furthermore, animals that are food motivated or fun motivated LOVE me. I love to be outdoors and active but can also cuddle inside for the furry friends that prefer one or both. If your dog likes to run, good news! I like to go fast on the bike paths!
