Patient, Active, Big Dog Lover 🦴🐾
I love big dogs, especially GSDs, but have experience with many ages, breeds, and sizes. I grew up with several labs. I raised a German Shepherd from 8 weeks to 10 years that sadly passed away a couple years back. Needless to say I dont mind being covered in dog hair. I have experience with various personalities, separation anxiety, cuts/injuries, and administering medication. I typically watch one or multiple dogs at a time from the same owner. I will only watch dogs from different owners if the dogs are all dog friendly and all owners agree to it. I enjoy going on walks, hikes, and going to parks, but can also just hang out with your pup if that’s what’s desired. I work remote full time and set my own schedule, allowing flexibility all hours and days. I live in a home with plenty of room and a fenced in backyard. Trails are 20 yards away. We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!

Chris was amazing! We had to leave the country for a couple of weeks and after a test stay we left our dog with him for about 15 days, we got pictures daily and updates about her eating / how she was and it was a HUGE weight off our shoulders. Would recommend to anyone looking for a safe place for their pup to hang out!
Chris was very trustworthy and responsive. He sent multiple photos and updates on a daily basis and our pup had a blast staying and hiking with Chris.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are always welcome in my home! I have plenty of space with a fenced in yard and dogs are allowed on the couch and in the bed. I’m easy to work with, patient (some dogs just like to sniff more than they walk), communicative, and can adjust to any preferred care strategy to provide a trustworthy service while you’re away.
A typical day
Your dog and I will go on as many walks as desired, or hikes! Many belly rubs, scratches, and cuddles. Outside and inside time playing and attention to keep your dog smiling or sleeping from having too much fun.
