“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I am a student, so my schedule varies but I am usually free in the mornings and late afternoons. Overall I have a very flexible schedule. I am a flexible person and can accommodate to mostly any needs. My current housing does not allow animals, I am more interested in walking
About: I’ve been lucky enough to share my home with dogs & cats my whole life, and would love to care for your fur babies overnight in your home, drop-in for walks or spend time giving loving attention & meals. I live in the Nederland area and have a 4wd vehicle with high clearance, so no problems navigating mountain life for your pets! I’m comfortable with all breeds and sizes of dog - I’ve raised rescue pups to mature gentleman & well-mannered ladies, and they’ve ranged in size from a 100lbs Golden Retriever/Chow mix to a 13lbs Pug/Shitzu. I’m a stay at home pet momma with a flexible schedule that allows me to can care for your fur babies overnight in your home. I live on five unfenced acres and walk my two dogs (always on leash) around Nederland, Sugarloaf, and surrounding areas of the Canyons. I’d be happy to go on leashed walks/hikes with your doggos! or if you have a yard, I’d be happy to watch your pup closely as we enjoy unleashed play time. I am accustomed to and prepared for mountain life and the variables it brings (wildlife, weather, fires, etc.).

“We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. During the trip, Chris gave us great updates and we felt good knowing he was in good hands. If we need a sitter again for any period of time, Chris will definitely be top of mind. Thanks Chris!”

“This was my first Rover experience so I was a little nervous to leave Indie with someone new (admittedly, I'm a rather needy pet parent - oops! :) ) Della was so thorough in explanation her daily routine with doggie visitors during our meet and greet a local park. Indie is a pretty shy with new people, and Della completely respected Indie's pace to earn her trust. Della has a radiantly warm and positive energy. Her calm confidence and compassion helped put both Indie and me at ease for her first overnight sleepover party. I received plenty of photos of Indie joyfully leaping around the park with the other doggie guests - and very prompt responses - which I so appreciate. Della somehow even captured a photo Indie with her floppy ears completely airborne as she ran around with other dogs - which made me laugh and is now my phone wallpaper. When I went to pick her up the next morning, her sweet daughter Uma parted with her with plenty of hugs and kisses. What a sweet family Indie is lucky to reside with when I'm out of town. We're lucky to have found Della & Uma!”
