“Santiago was very flexible and available when I needed a last minute booking for a sitting. Zoey had a great visit and was well taken care of. Santiago made sure to have my place spick and span when I arrived home after a long day of travel and emotional weekend with my family. Most certainly would book again!”

“Taylor took amazing care of our pups! Plus he navigated easily around some construction work happening at our house. Our dogs love him & we can’t wait to have him back. Five stars!”

“Connie was amazing handling my 3 high strung little dogs. She provided many updates and photos, giving me peace of mind and reassurance that all was well at home. Connie took excellent care of the house and was able to adjust her schedule to accommodate my travel needs. Love Connie for my babies. ♥️♥️”

About: I grew up with dogs, fish, guinea pigs, and chickens! Caring for pets was a wonderful part of my childhood and I adore spending time with animals. My schedule is wide open to help out with walks and drop ins for any pets or housesitting needs. Let me know how I can help out! I prefer to maintain routines for pets based on their regular schedules. I am happy to cater to individual needs and personalities, whether they require lots of activity or just company.
“Sage was incredible!! They instantly bonded with our dogs, a feat for two anxious girlies who don’t warm up to strangers easily. They sent lots of photos and took the girls on daily walks. They left our home so spotless and went above and beyond and laundered our sheets and ran the dishwasher. You can tell they really just love animals so dearly, and we are so grateful that our girls had someone as loving and kind as Sage to watch them while we were away. We hope to use them again in the future!”

“Dylan was fantastic! She sent so many photos and even cleaned up a bit! She is so sweet and my animals loved her! Normally one of the dogs is sad when I leave, but he was not sad at all with her. He was totally comfortable with her.”

“Ben waa promt arriving to care for our 3 month old puppy at pur hotel...aside from him suffering a puppy scratch, they had a great afternoon. Fritz was fed/watered/pottied/walked/played with and generally well cared for, for 6 hours! We give Ben ????? (5 paws/stars)!”

About: Animals have always been my biggest passion, and caring for them brings immense joy to my life. With over a year of hands-on experience in pet sitting, I am dedicated to providing a safe, comfortable, and loving environment for your furry family members. I understand how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets. Whether it's playtime, long walks, or just cozy cuddles, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am looking forward to dedicating myself even more to this work and building wonderful connections with both pets and their owners! I work during the day, but my schedule allows me to seamlessly fit pet care into my mornings, evenings, and weekends. I am also available for house sitting, meaning I can stay right at your home to keep your pets company and maintain their routine while you are away. Whether it is morning/evening walks, feeding times, or overnight stays, I ensure your pets receive consistent attention and care. Safety, cleanliness, and trust are my absolute top priorities. Coming from a background in childcare as a nanny, I am highly vigilant, responsible, and observant. I am also a very meticulous person when it comes to cleanliness and organization, meaning your pet will always be in a hygienic, hazard-free, and safe environment. I always ensure that doors and gates are secure, dangerous items are out of reach, and pets are closely supervised both indoors and during walks. You can trust that I will protect and care for your furry family member just as carefully as I would a child.
About: Hi, I'm Andi! I’ve been a dog person for as long as I can remember, and for 13 years I had my own dog by my side. I raised him on my own through all kinds of homes and lifestyle changes, from apartments to houses, with big yards and with no yard at all so I know that every dog (and owner!) has their own routine, personality, and needs. Over the years, I’ve also regularly cared for friends’ and family members’ dogs, both in their homes and in mine. I genuinely love having a dog around the house, and enjoy the company, the personality, the walks, and even the little quirks that make them who they are. After losing my own dog, I’m not quite ready to make the commitment to bringing another dog into my life permanently. But I’ve realized I’d love to fill that space by welcoming other people’s dogs into my home and giving them the same kind of care and attention I’d want for my own. My goal is for your dog to feel comfortable, safe, and at home while they’re with me. I’m happy to follow your usual routines, whether that means lots of walks and playtime, a cozy spot on the couch, medication or special instructions, or simply plenty of companionship. I know leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, so I want you to feel confident that they’re in good hands and that they’ll get plenty of love while you’re away! work from home four days a week, so I’m home with plenty of flexibility throughout the day. On the days I go into the office, I’m typically gone for about four hours or less, so I’m home more often than not. I’m an early riser and am very used to starting the day with a dog’s morning walk. I also have easy access to grass for quick potty breaks throughout the day, in addition to regular walks and playtime. Even on weekends, when I might go for a run, hike, or bike ride, I’m generally home for most of the day working on projects or relaxing. Overall, my schedule gives me plenty of time and flexibility to give dogs attention, exercise, companionship, and plenty of opportunities to get outside. I take pet safety and comfort seriously and want every dog in my care to feel safe, comfortable, and at home. I’m attentive to each dog’s personality, routine, energy level, and any special instructions from their owner. My home is clean, comfortable, and dog-friendly, with easy access to grass for potty breaks and plenty of opportunities for walks, exercise, and companionship. I’m home most of the time, so dogs aren’t typically left alone for long stretches. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine, including feeding, walks, medications, and house rules. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your dog is happy and well cared for while you’re away.
“Excellent pet sitter! Was so sweet with my baby puppy and kept him entertained and active. Sent me lots of updates and pictures. I was so relaxed knowing my little man was in good hands.”

About: I have taken care of and loved animals since I can remember. I feel very in tune with most pets I meet and I love being around them. My favorite dog was a 10 pound Maltese/Terrier mix named Molly. She lived 16 years and went every with me. Really got into my heart. I work from home and enjoy running, meditating, and spending time with our furry friends. I am a remote life coach. I work from home and have lots of free time to play with your fury pets. I enjoy running, hiking, meditating, and hanging out at home with my partner. I work from home, so I spend a lot of time with the pets I'm taking care of. Bonding with them is very important to me and I make sure to do that in the first few hours of the stay by being patient, talking with them, and just being with them.
“Savannah is always so happy to spend time with our little Riley! 🐶 She is thoughtful and communicative as well. Zero hesitation in recommending her to spend time with your fur babies and your home.”

“Taylor was an excellent communicator while we were away. He provided consistent updates and was incredibly patient with our moody pup. I loved the photos that he sent during his stay, it was great to know that our pets were comfortable with him and thriving while we were gone.”

“Our two dogs are older and often seem stressed and sickly when we pick them up from the Dog Sitter. However, after they spent nearly 2 weeks with Samantha we came home to two very happy and healthy dogs. She took excellent care of them and our home. She even baked us cookies to welcome us home! Highly recommend!”

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Aspen Meadows
Yolanda is a gem. It’s always hard for us to find someone we feel we can trust will look after our animals with the same level of attention and love that we provide. Yolanda clearly loves animals. Beyond that, she clearly has a special gift with them. Our 2 lgd dogs and needy cat fell in love with her! It was clear she gave them a lot of time and attention. She was also very communicative with us, and made sure to follow our instructions. Everything was in perfect order upon our return from our extended stay abroad. We are so glad we found Yolanda and look forward to having her pet sit for us again - we know the animals would love that as well!

Yolanda was awesome as always! Not the first time we’ve had her. Both my dogs just absolutely love her. Not only does she take care of the dogs, she keeps the house clean as well as washing the bedding before she leaves. She is also a great cook! Left us an homemade apple pie using our apples from our tree! She had fun with that! 😁🤣❤️ You guys need a dog sitter? Book with Yolanda!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Mail & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Trash & recycling: Taking trash cans to the curb on scheduled pickup days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best way to align on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a "home cheat sheet" that includes your preferred Aspen Meadows walking routes, the location of your favorite pet store, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
It’s helpful to think of house sitting as a "home base" service. Most sitters in Aspen Meadows maintain their normal daily routines, like running errands or heading to the office, meaning your pet should be comfortable being alone for a few hours at a time. If your pet needs a little extra company, here is how to find the perfect match:
- Look for "WFH" sitters: Many sitters mention "Work from Home" on their profile to indicate they’ll be present for the majority of the day.
- Update your pet’s profile: Write down how long your pet can comfortably be left alone. This helps sitters quickly determine if their schedule aligns with your needs.
- Communicate 24/7 needs: Standard house sitting usually doesn't include constant supervision. If your pet requires round-the-clock care, be sure to discuss this upfront.
Tip: Use the Meet & Greet to confirm a sitter's typical "away" windows. Transparency ensures your pet stays happy and your sitter can plan their day effectively!
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Aspen Meadows choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.

- 97% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
