About: Hi There! I am a rising senior at the University of Colorado Bouler. I love pets and have a few furry friends of my own at home, two cats and a dog!! (They are my pride and joy I'm obsessed with them) Since I am living in Boulder this summer I am really excited for the opportunity to be able to watch after some animals and hangout with them since I am missing mine! I have been petsitting for my local neighborhood for about six years now and absolutely love it! I am super active and LOVE walking, I go on daily walks once a day so adding a companion to that would be amazing!!! I work Tuesday-Friday 11-3 so am free early morning and early afternoons! Ideally I want to find a pet that I can consistently look out for and hangout with! Other than that I am very flexible and am excited for this opportunity! I live in a home that does not have a fenced in yard but has a patio! There is a park at the top of my street that I go to and hangout at all the time! Animals are allowed on furniture and on bedding!

About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

About: Hello! My name is Megan, and I recently received my master’s degree from CU Boulder. As I search for a full-time position, I have a flexible schedule and would love to spend some time helping care for your pets. My main goal of being on Rover is to gain experience with dogs so that I can be prepared to adopt my own someday! To help me gain confidence and comfortability for achieving that goal, I would work best with smaller size dogs. I’m also happy to spend time with older dogs that may just want some companionship, attention, and a calm presence while their owners are away. While I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve helped care for friends’ dogs over the years. I’m dependable, organized, and flexible with scheduling. I’d love to learn more about your pet and how I can help! I’m currently job searching, so I have a flexible schedule and plenty of free time throughout the day and week for pet care. We can work something out and I will adjust my schedule as needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I aim to follow the owner’s routine and instructions as closely as possible so their pet feels comfortable and cared for. I’m very mindful and respectful of household rules, including where I’m allowed in the home, feeding schedules, walk routines, and any specific care instructions. I also make sure pets get attention, playtime, and companionship during my visit.
