About: I’ve had pets my entire life, including cats, dogs, and for the past two years I’ve lived on a farm where I have gained experience caring for many different types of animals. We also double as a kitten rescue, taking in lost and abandoned kittens from newborns through teenagers. We bottle-feed, raise, and care for them until they are healthy, grown, and ready to be adopted into loving homes. I am extremely passionate about healthy and safe animal care and ensure that in my work. I am a college student and recently moved away from home and my farm, and the first priority on my list was getting back into work with animals. Being at CU I am occupied in the mornings and late afternoon. Anywhere between 11am-1pm I am free in between classes, and anytime after 4/5pm at night. I care for pets with patience, attention, and lots of love while making sure they feel safe and comfortable in their environment. Having cared for cats, dogs, reptiles, and a variety of farm animals, I understand that every animal has different needs and personalities. About: I have not had a single day, in my 21 years on this planet, without owning 1 dog and 2+ cats. I know just how important our pets are to us as they are part of our family! Other than taking care of my own pets, I have fostered cats for 10 years with my mom. This includes baby bottle kittens to senior cats. Also, I take care of my neighbors and friends pets! Yolanda is a gem. It’s always hard for us to find someone we feel we can trust will look after our animals with the same level of attention and love that we provide. Yolanda clearly loves animals. Beyond that, she clearly has a special gift with them. Our 2 lgd dogs and needy cat fell in love with her! It was clear she gave them a lot of time and attention. She was also very communicative with us, and made sure to follow our instructions. Everything was in perfect order upon our return from our extended stay abroad. We are so glad we found Yolanda and look forward to having her pet sit for us again - we know the animals would love that as well!
Kristen was great! You can tell right away from meeting her that she is a total dog person and the animals love her! She stayed at our place for the week with our dog and took great care of her! You could tell Kristen did everything she could to keep the doggo in her normal routine. She was communicative and sent photos and asked clarifying questions where needed. She left the house clean. Would recommend!
Yolanda was awesome as always! Not the first time we’ve had her. Both my dogs just absolutely love her. Not only does she take care of the dogs, she keeps the house clean as well as washing the bedding before she leaves. She is also a great cook!
