About: I had my dog Nala ever since I was 9. I also grew up with cats, chickens, horses and goats. I would tell I get along with all animals more than people:) Hi my name is Evan! A little about me, I’m the biggest animal lover you will ever meet. I’m 21 years old. I have worked with all sorts of animals even 1500 Ib creatures! I have cerebral palsy and am non-verbal which has led me to a calm, patient, and observant approach to pet care. Animals have always been a natural fit for me and I communicate clearly and reliably through text, notes and the Rover app. Pet sitting allows me to give animals focused, loving care in a low-stress environment which is where I do my best work :) I currently do not have a job so I have all the time to play with some furry friends!! Some of the fun activities that I can provide is taking them on fun walks, playing fetch or tug of war, or simply just chilling together. I am always checking on the pets well being and safety!

About: I’ve had dogs all throughout my life and have now adopted a Labrador puppy of my own. He’s a crazy little guy so I feel like it’s qualified me to work with dogs that have all types of personalities. I’ve recently graduated and am looking for jobs, so I am completely flexible with my time. Besides caring for my own pup, I can be right there for your pets whenever you need! I have a small fenced yard that’s made life easier with my puppy, but I also take him on frequent walks. He eats well and has too many toys to count. He gets treated like a king! If I were trying to find someone on Rover to care for him, I would want the same treatment – and that is what you’ll get from me!

About: Dogs and cats are family and friends to me, and life would not be the same without the rewards of their companionship. Living in the foothills on 2 acres, my dogs have always had the great outdoors to frolic and play in with a keen eye of oversight by myself and my family. Consideration for my community, neighbors and wildlife have always been critical to the care I provide. My role as a responsible Parent to all of our animals and an Aunti to all the animals that don't actually live with us, is fundamentally important and the very being of who I am. This means being observant and paying attention to each animal, with lots of love, patience, discipline and awareness of the overall needs of each animal and the collective whole. There is play time, cuddles and snuggle time, lap time (mostly cats), learning time, feeding time, and discovery time and rest time. The care of young animals is significantly different than older and senior animals and I have experience with every stage of life for an animal. And with this knowledge, every phase of each life is honored and accepted, with a deep trust that our animals and those that come into my life are ever neglected or overlooked in any way.

I’m generally available Thursday through Monday after 1 PM and can be flexible with advance notice. When I house sit I treat every home with respect, focusing on your pet while you’re away. I understand leaving your home and furry friend to a stranger can be worrisome so I do my best to comfort your pet and keep your space the way you like it.
