About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, from volunteering at animal shelters to eventually managing one, I have such a passion for animal wellness. If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I can give meds to pets, care for any special needs they have and work with high energy or “difficult” pets. I love them all, from hyper mouthy puppies to needy seniors! “We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful. About: I am a total animal person :) I love all animals and especially dogs. I treat all dogs as if they were my own companion. I love to reward them with high quality treats and natural peanut butter. I grew up taking care of all types of animals. I had chinchillas, rabbits, dogs, hamsters, fish etc.. I have been training dogs for 28 years and have watched and read a lot of dog training videos and books. Lennon was a very diificult dog to train because she's incredibly smart, independent and not very food motivated. I understand how to deal with all types of personalities/ quirks and needs from my wide range of dogs I have cared for. I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

When a friend is in need of a dog sitter they come to me and I care for their pup like my own! About: I started dog sitting for my neighbors when I was 12. My family got 2 dogs when I entered high school and I was the main care giver. Now that I am living somewhere that does not allow dogs, I love the opportunity of getting to care for other dogs and treat them as my own family. I work from home 3 days a week (M, T, F) so your dogs will have full access to me those days! If your home has WiFi and your dogs need more consistent attention, I'm comfortable working from there as long as you are too. Overall, my job is pretty flexible and I am available for midday walks, etc. I treat all dogs as if they were my own. Having grown up with one dog who was NOT and one who WAS all cuddles 24/7, I totally understand when dogs need some time and space to get used to a new person. I will meet your dog wherever it is at with their personality and make sure we both feel safe in our environment and have a good time, whatever that means for your dog.
About: Hi there! All my life I have been an animal lover and for the last 8 years I have raised my own dog, and taken care of other dogs for families I used to babysit for. I can fit in any lifestyle your pet has, whether they are active or a stay-at-home. I can fit any accommodation as I work from home, love to exercise (so your dog would get plenty of it, if need be), and I'm incredibly flexible and will be normally free to help you more than not. About: I was absolutely obsessed with my late bulldog and toy poodle. Raising them and spending time with them each day was so much fun and fulfilling. I have been dog sitting, cat sitting and house sitting since I was 12. All through high school and both of my college degrees I continued to dog sit. When I was younger I participated in dog training 4-h where I would take my dog and train him surrounded by a lot of other dogs. About: I’ve been caring for pets my entire life, from volunteering at animal shelters to eventually managing one, I have such a passion for animal wellness. If you are visiting Boulder and need day care for your dog while you take on a challenging hike, attend an event, I’m your pets home-away-from-home. I can give meds to pets, care for any special needs they have and work with high energy or “difficult” pets. I love them all, from hyper mouthy puppies to needy seniors! Our backyard is a 1/2 acre completely privacy fenced in so the pups will get plenty of exercise in addition to daily walks! I'm also an avid runner and am happy to accommodate daily runs if needed. “We weren’t able to book our normal sitter for our dog reactive pup and thought we’d have to miss a family trip until we met with Chris. Chris met with us and our pup a couple times very close to the date of the trip a to make sure our dog was comfortable in the new environment with new person. Once it seemed like he was, we talked through our dogs reactivity with Chris who was very attentive and understanding. He even went out of his way to let his neighbor (who has a dog) know he’d have a reactive pup there which was very thoughtful.
