About: I have been petsitting since 2014, as of recently taking a break from my full time corporate job. I have open availability for whatever you have in mind - for the same cost of a kennel or less, your dog can stay in his environment while you are away, with plenty of company/outside time/exercise as you see fit. Happy to take long walks if needed. Your pup is also welcome to stay in my home if you’d prefer as long they are ok with other dogs/cats! Open availability, full time care. If housesitting I’m happy to spend majority of day with your pets, however will need to leave a few hours of day to take care of my own. I have a fully fenced in wooded yard and two of my own dogs who are ready to play. They are supervised at all times if outside.
“Emma took GREAT care of my cat while I was out of town. She played with him, got him fed, dealt with his littler and was on time - very reliable! My cat is very particular but he loved emma so I think she must be a pet whisperer :) Highly recommended Emma for any of your pet sitting needs and will be using Emma next time my little guy needs a visit!”

“Madison, Thank you for taking care of my baby girl Aspen! The time, along with her meds and the loving you showed her, even taking the time for a meet and great! I know she’s looking forward to seeing you again!”

About: I grew up around dogs. At just 10 years old, my mom involved me in dog sitting for a neighbor. I worked for her until I turned 18, cleaning kennels, walking the dogs, and dog sitting when she traveled. During college and afterward, I managed a dog care and senior dog shelter, dedicating my time to caring for the dogs. After work, I would walk the shelter dogs. I have two rescue dogs of my own and simply love being around animals. I love being around animals. I'm currently in between jobs and seeking new opportunities, but in the meantime, I would love to spend some quality time with animals. It really helps bring joy and comfort to my days. I live in the beautiful mountains with my two rescue dogs, who bring so much joy to my life. If the pet is staying at its home, it will enjoy cuddles and plenty of treats.

“Robyn was great, will definitely rebook in the future. She came for an initial meet and greet, and her level of communication during the engagement was great. She followed the feeding instructions to a tee and made sure our cat had food and water served in clean dishes. She also made sure to lock up our windows and doors securely after every visit. Thank you Robyn!!”

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
