Between the 3-4 dogs at a time, 2 cats (+the ones we took care of outside), and the 50+ rabbits we had, oh and lets not forget the pet oppossom we rescued, I'd say I know a thing or two about taking care of animals! I have watched 14 year old standard poodles with a lot of anxiety and medical issues, to a shy mini poodle or a collie that wants to chase Lennon all day every day. Also my dog Lennon has severe allergies and very sensitive skin etc. so she takes medicine daily and I give her probiotics and am always watching to make sure she's not having a bad reaction. She has gone into anaphylaxis twice and luckily I knew the signs and was able to get her to the vet just in time to save her life. I take dog care very seriously because of this, if I notice any change in behavior or red eyes etc. I will notify you immediately and see what the course of action should be. I value giving pet owners peace of mind because I know what it is like to be worried about your animal while traveling and theres no worse feeling. I love to send lots of pictures and videos so you never have to wonder how your pup is doing. I watched dogs on Rover for 2 years before in Georgia when I was married and unfortunately it was all booked under my ex's profile so you can't see all my reviews. I take my Aussie-doodle Lennon for daily walks and have multiple playtime sessions daily with fetch balls, plush toys, doing tricks, playing tug a war etc. I also have a big comfy couch downstairs I love to snuggle with my pup on. When the weather is nice I love to go on dog friendly hikes during (between 1-4 miles) nothing too crazy especially if it is hot outside. If your dog is snuggly, I offer snuggles. If they are play oriented I offer tons of play and my pup Lennon LOVES to play and chill (she's very insanely emotionally intelligent). She knows when to play and when to relax - which I love about her. I will always take dogs for walks (weather permitting) and take them out to potty every 3-4 hours minimum.

A human will be home during your pup’s entire visit. If your pup prefers their own space, I’m happy to spend the day and night with them so they can keep to their familiar space and routines. 🏡🛌 If your pup loves exercise, they’re in luck - I am an avid hiker and runner who can keep up with even the most energetic of pooches. 🏃🏾♀️🥾 If you’re running errands down the hill and won’t be home for a while, I’m happy to check in on your pup and give them a little TLC and a walk. Depending on my schedule, I can accommodate last-minute requests, just give me a shout. As a dog mama myself, I know how hard it can be to be away from your furbabies. About: I've lived most of my life with dogs and cats in addition to sundry other animals from tortoises to tarantulas. I am particularly fond of all dogs which is why my wife and I have fostered nearly a dozen rescue and foster dogs/puppies over the last 8 years. Along with raising two high energy Australian shepherds from puppies, I have had plenty of experience handling medium to large size dogs that can be reactive or fearful under certain situations or are simply a handful. Having worked with a lot of dogs I know they all have their own unique personalities and challenges and understand the importance of flexibly adjusting care strategies. I work from home ~2 days per week and when house sitting will remain with your pet during the day. I generally do long walks in the mornings before work and after. Dog walks or short visits during the day can be arranged as long as they are done so well in advance. I have two relatively high energy dogs who need a lot of attention. Generally, I take them to an open fenced in space in the mornings to play fetch then go for a walk. We then go for a shorter walk in the evenings. We have a small fenced garden that we let them out in to do their business when they need to 2-3 times per day. As our dogs have gotten older and more mellow/better behaved we've relaxed a number of rules such going on furniture or sleeping in our room at night.

We have dog run & areas and spaces to keep em cool and safety importantly maintained. We usually don't mingle with others and take note of any patterns or health issues.

About: I grew up with animals (even cows!) and am a reliable, loving caretaker for you fur babies while you are away. About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.
