About: Born and raised living in an animal house! Between the 3-4 dogs at a time, 2 cats (+the ones we took care of outside), and the 50+ rabbits we had, oh and lets not forget the pet oppossom we rescued, I'd say I know a thing or two about taking care of animals! Minnie can be anxious when away from home but was much calmer than usual when we picked her up. When Minnie needed space from Emma’s playful dogs, Emma gave Minnie her own space in the house. We got updates and photos during the day too. We highly recommend Emma and would use her again if we’re traveling in this area again.”

About: I’ve been in love with dogs since I can remember, and my favorite type of work/volunteering has always involved them. When I was 15 I started dog sitting for my family friend, I watched and walked little Johnny twice a week for almost 2 years while his mom was out doing errands. After that, I started volunteering at the LoveJoy Foundation, an animal rescue in California. I walked dogs, cleaned crates, and even helped with vaccinations once a week at adoption events! My time at LoveJoy was one of the most rewarding experiences ever, and it taught me how to work with different types of dogs and different behaviors, including neurodivergent and disabled pups. I have a family dog of my own, sweet Montana, who will always be my best friend no matter how far apart we are. Montana is a bit older now, so we mostly enjoy hanging out on the couch together, but in his prior years I loved taking him on hikes, to the dog beach, and really anywhere that I went. I also have a crested gecko named Axel! I’m currently a junior at CU Boulder, so I do have school during the week but only for about 2-3 hours each day, most of the time I’m home to care for a pup! I absolutely love being outside here in Boulder, it’s too beautiful not to be, so walks and adventures are plentiful! I have a large house for your pup to roam around, but if it’s preferred that he stays in a crate during the day I can accommodate that too! My yard isn’t fenced, but we would have a lot of outside time at the park and on walks exploring all corners of Boulder. I do have experience dog sitting in client’s homes, I know that some dogs are probably more comfortable staying in their own home!

I share a cabin with my husband and two goofy Labradors, Jenny and Elwood. We have a half-acre, fenced in yard with plenty of room to play and roam. And the squirrel hunting is top-notch. 🐿️ 🐶 There’s plenty of dog-friendly furniture for naps, and walks and snuggles are guaranteed. 💕 We welcome friendly, non-aggressive dogs to join us for boarding and doggie daycare. A human will be home during your pup’s entire visit. If your pup prefers their own space, I’m happy to spend the day and night with them so they can keep to their familiar space and routines. 🏡🛌 If your pup loves exercise, they’re in luck - I am an avid hiker and runner who can keep up with even the most energetic of pooches. 🏃🏾♀️🥾 If you’re running errands down the hill and won’t be home for a while, I’m happy to check in on your pup and give them a little TLC and a walk. Depending on my schedule, I can accommodate last-minute requests, just give me a shout. As a dog mama myself, I know how hard it can be to be away from your furbabies. About: I've lived most of my life with dogs and cats in addition to sundry other animals from tortoises to tarantulas. I am particularly fond of all dogs which is why my wife and I have fostered nearly a dozen rescue and foster dogs/puppies over the last 8 years. Along with raising two high energy Australian shepherds from puppies, I have had plenty of experience handling medium to large size dogs that can be reactive or fearful under certain situations or are simply a handful. Having worked with a lot of dogs I know they all have their own unique personalities and challenges and understand the importance of flexibly adjusting care strategies. I work from home ~2 days per week and when house sitting will remain with your pet during the day. I generally do long walks in the mornings before work and after. Dog walks or short visits during the day can be arranged as long as they are done so well in advance. I have two relatively high energy dogs who need a lot of attention. Generally, I take them to an open fenced in space in the mornings to play fetch then go for a walk. We then go for a shorter walk in the evenings. We have a small fenced garden that we let them out in to do their business when they need to 2-3 times per day. As our dogs have gotten older and more mellow/better behaved we've relaxed a number of rules such going on furniture or sleeping in our room at night.

About: I've been an animal lover my entire life. Ever since I was a little girl I would bring home injured or stray animals to care for. I've raised an assortment of pets from parakeets, cats, fish, bunnies, chickens, ducks, and many dogs. Our dogs are like our children to us. It's our goal to provide the very best life we could possibly give them with lots of love, structure, exercise, a good healthy diet, and medical attention when required. Any animal that comes in our presence will experience the same treatment. I work full-time remotely. While we don't have a yard per se, we live in the mountains bumped up against BLM land with lots of hiking trails and areas to walk. Our dogs get exercised daily on the trails surrounding our home. With my at-home work schedule, I have the flexibility to take walks for my breaks and lunch hour and to get up and take care of things as needed through out the day. We get up early and go outside immediately so our dogs can relieve themselves then we go in and have breakfast. After breakfast, I start work while the dogs tend to relax on the bed behind me. I will take them out to potty again on my first break then on my lunch hour, we go for a walk through the forest behind the house. They get another potty break on my second break and then another short walk after I sign out of work for the day in the evening time. We free-feed our dogs but if we have other dogs in the house we will adjust the feeding and schedule to the visiting dog(s). We are normally in bed around 10 pm and our dogs are fully on our schedule for sleeping. If we need to step out for a bit, our dogs are good being left alone in the house but we do have a crate if needed for dogs that aren't good being left alone.
About: Hi there! I have been around animals my entire life and have always had lots of pets. Not only that, but I grew up spending every summer on my grandparent's farm where I learned to take care of all manners of animals and their specific needs. I am comfortable with horses, goats, chickens, dogs, cats, hamsters, ducks, raccoons, pet squirrels, you name it! I've had a lot of experience with helping others rehab wildlife too! I currently have two cats and two dogs (a husky and a border collie!) I absolutely love snuggling up with my four fur babies or going on adventures with my dogs! I have a decent amount of experience in dog training (both positive and classical reinforcement methods for puppies and adult dogs, but I am by no means a professional dog trainer.) All that is to say, I will take the best care possible of your babies and not much is past my comfort zone! I work from home most days (in Gilpin County) and can be flexible for morning, afternoon, or evening visits as needed. I am also available most weekends. I take great care to make sure my animals have a healthy and supportive environment, and I promise to do the same for yours! (i.e. designated sleeping spaces, fenced yard, clean litter boxes, fresh water always, plenty of enrichment, etc!)
