I have a humongous space in my heart for dogs of all shapes, colors, and sizes. I’ve worked professionally with dogs through Denver Animal Shelter, the Platte Park Humane Society, and worked throughout high school and college at a daycare and boarding facility. Throughout these jobs, I’ve worked with dogs of all shapes, sizes, ages, worked with various behaviors, and administered medications. I also have a certificate in Animal-Assisted Social Work that focuses on ethics around bonding with animals. Personally, I started walking and pet-sitting dogs in my neighborhood when I was 12 years old, grew up with family dogs, and successfully raised and trained my sweet, 7-year-old shepherd mix throughout my last year of college (pictured in my profile!). I have ALWAYS loved getting to know each pup and their individual personalities and quirks! I love hiking and running and can hopefully meet any requirements you'd like for your dog/s. Unfortunately over the years, my dog has become less friendly and more territorial with other dogs. He would love to partake in a walk or hike, but hosting at our house is no longer possible unless absolutely necessary, in which case we could keep the dogs separated. Otherwise, happy to stay at your house or do check-ins as often as necessary. I have a particular love for big dogs, but am continuously looking for more furry friends and love to help others care for their fur babies! :) I work from home so have fairly flexible hours aside from my own travel and pet needs!
