“Lainie was awesome. She was great to communicate with, took excellent care of Enzo and left my house clean and tidy. I can confidently recommend Lainie and hope to have her stay again!”

“Amy did a fantastic job taking care of my babies :) she walked Bee, made sure she took her medicine, and gave them both plenty of snuggles. I would absolutely rebook if needed <3”

“Erin is one of the best sitters we have had at our home in years! She took excellent care of our animals and was so attentive to their needs. She sent many updates which made me so happy to see. Erin provided many special touches such as adorable report cards at the end of her sit. She really is a gem and we look forward to having her sit with us again in the future! I could tell our pets were totally comfortable with her, and so were the pet parents.”

“My puppies (Great Danes) absolutely fell in love with Felicity and she was in regular communication about them. I felt very safe and secure knowing my babies were in amazing hands!”

“Danielle was great and we felt confident our pup was in good hands with her! We are so appreciative as she came in and watched our Henry at the last minute and took great care of him. She was very communicative, gave regular updates, and left the house very tidy. We’d happily have her back again.”

About: I love animals. Cats, Dogs, guinea pigs, and fish. You name it, I think they're cool. I am diligent, trustworthy, and interested in keeping your pet happy. I've had pets of all sorts my entire life. I can understand from an owner's standpoint how relaxing it is to know your pets are in good hands. There's a level of calm that comes from this that I want to provide for your family. I am an independent contractor working from home and running a budding business in small-business financial care. Right now, my schedule is open as I build my business and am between contracts. I can be available on short notice (2-3 weeks' notice for each care contract). My household includes 2 dogs and 2 cats, whom I watch weekly while their pet parents are at work or in class. We go on daily walks and play often.
“Nadia was great with our dog Charlie! She was able to help us out on short notice, which we were so grateful for. And while we were gone, she was an excellent communicator, sharing photos of what she and Charlie were up to multiple times a day. We would definitely work with her again!”

“So glad that Carissa was available to watch my babies for a long weekend! She was great with updates and pictures and I felt really good knowing she was there with them. She took wonderful care of my babies and my home, leaving my place so clean and nice. She’s a gem and I will absolutely use her again! Thank you Carissa! 🙏”

“Haley was absolutely fantastic. We had to book her last minute. The moment we met her, our dogs adored her. She has awesome energy and took great care of our 2 dogs and home while we were away. Will definitely use her again!!!”

“Anna was a great sitter for our boxer-bulldog! She sent regular updates and we could tell Marley was very well cared for. We came back to a clean house and happy dog after our trip - we'll definitely book Anna again in the future!”

“Jon & Serenity did a great job house sitting / watching our dog Ella Mae. She's 14 and isn't great controlling her bladder. Serenity did a great job of getting her outside when she could and cleaning up the pee pads when she didn't make it out. The communication was good. Would use them again. Thanks, jjm.”

“Taylor is awesome! I was going on vacation for a week and my other dog-sitter had to cancel. Taylor agreed to watch Shay for the week and was a wonderful house sitter! Taylor even stuck around for a few extra hours when it became unsure if our flight home was going to be canceled. Shaymus had a great time with her, and it seems like they played quite a bit because he was wiped out the whole next day after we came home! Would highly recommend her!!”

“Ashlyn was so great with our two dogs while we were away at our wedding. She was so patient with us while my brain was swamped with bride craziness. Our dogs loved her, and she gave us updates with photos on how they were doing. We had peace of mind with our dogs in her care. Our home was well taken care of as well. Highly recommend her!”

“Ellie is so sweet and my dog, Barbara, loved her so much! Barbara can be a bit shy at first but Ellen got on the ground and played with her slowly and calmly until she was comfortable during our meet and greet. Her communication, attention to detail, and love for Barbara was such a relief while away. Ill call Ellen anytime I need help with Barbara!”

“Sam was amazing with our puppy Millie. This was our first time leaving Millie home alone for a week so we were a bit nervous about who could take care of her while we were gone. A relative recommended Sam and we contacted her right away. She was quick to reply and flexible. This was also our first time using Rover and it was great! Sam was amazing and Millie loved her new play buddy. I loved the updates and photos/videos that we got of Millie, it really put us at ease. Thank you Sam!”

About: I’ve cared for dogs and pets of all kinds since I was 10 years old. As a longtime educator and instructional coach with over 20 years of experience, I’m dependable, organized, calm under pressure, and great at reading behavior and routines. I’m especially attentive to safety, communication, and making both pets and owners feel comfortable and supported. Because my partner and two children are allergic to animals, pet sitting and dog walking gives me the opportunity to spend time with animals I love while helping families who need reliable care. Since I’m currently off for the summer from teaching, I also have a very flexible schedule and availability for walks, check-ins, daytime care, and extended visits. As a former teacher currently off for the summer and now working part-time, I have a very flexible schedule for pet care. I’m available for daytime walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, and companionship throughout the week, as well as weekends. “Kayla was amazing with our two senior pups! Our normal sitter cancelled last-minute for a two week trip, and she helped my anxiety so so much. Daily walks, check-ins with pictures, and lots of love kept our dogs happy and healthy while we were away I would not hesitate to use Kayla's services again!”

Derby pet parents share their Rover experiences
Sydney was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our dog and cat. She communicated super clearly, was on time, sent photos, and even checked in when our pup was scared during a thunderstorm. She gave our dog’s tail a little wash when she peed on it! She also left the house in even better shape and left CUSTOM STICKERS of both pets!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel so confident she will take excellent care of them in the future. We can’t wait to book Sydney again!

When booking a new Rover stay, you HOPE to find someone as courteous and responsible as Taylor. This was our first booking with Taylor. She house sat our two bulldogs and was absolutely wonderful. She is timely, communicative and caring. She followed instructions, left our home clean, and took amazing care of our doggies! She made our trip home easy and worry free. Thank you so much!

Courtney was fantastic with our dog and two cats while we were on vacation for a week. She was very communicative and sent daily photos. She took great care of our pets and even understood how to handle one of our more spicy cats! Will absolutely have her over again in the future to watch our pets!

McKenna was a great sitter for our 5 month old pup, Honey! She stayed with Honey for 3 nights and was a great communicator and sent pics and updates. I was never worried that she was going to dissappear. When we got back Honey was in a good mood and the house was in great shape. We hope to have her back next time we leave town. Thank you, McKenna!!
