I am currently a remote worker wanting to get out and spend time with some of my favorite animals, in hopes to expand my knowledge of caring for various breeds. My remote work allows me to be extremely flexible with my working location (requiring only wifi access) and my afternoons are free due to working east coast hours. So if you're running late stuck in Denver rush hour traffic, I can swing over and get your fuzzy family members some attention and a potty break.

Safety, trust & environment

For in-home sitting: your pets will be loved, cared for and maybe just a tiny bit spoiled to make it feel a little less like their family isn't home (obviously within family rules and routines)! They will have my undivided attention in the afternoons and a chill hangout buddy during weekdays. I will always respect the home and try to leave it a touch cleaner than when I arrived so you can come home and immediately relax and spend time with your loved one. For dog walks: all dogs will be on their leashes at all times, cautious of other dogs that might pass by. I will always carry some reinforcement treats for either lead training, enrichment or bargaining in an emergency scenario where attention needs to be redirected.

Information Sydney C. would like to know about your pet

Anything that can keep your pet safe and secure: medication needs, health conditions or disorders, behavioral notes and of course schedules. Bonus points for favorite tickle spots, games and all the silly little quirks that your pet has - the sillier the more fun it is for us all! For dog boarding in my home: please message me so we can arrange a meet & greet in neutral territory for my pets to meet yours. Safety and comfort are always my number one priority; I will not board without a meet & greet in advance for your pet and my pets safety.

A typical day

Me and your pets will hang out and become buddies quickly. Between working out their brain with commands and training to just hanging out watching some TV together and playing with their toys together. If there are any specific games your pet likes to play, i'd love to learn the rules and play with them.

Pet care experience

When I was born, I came home from the hospital to a house with 3 dogs already residing with my parents. I've been surrounded by dogs my entire life. I have experience with a broad range of breeds, temperaments, ages and disabled dogs. Throughout my life I have taken care of and assisted more animals than I can count. I am proficient in disabled and senior animals; I have worked with blind, deaf and paralyzed dogs before as well as senior cats. I am also capable of handling multiple pets at a time, with experience with up to 6 small dogs at once. When I was 14, my parents opened up a local pet supply store in our town in NJ, focusing on pet health and quality ingredients and premium quality goods so I have an in depth knowledge of pet foods, treats and general animal health concerns. Today, I have two shar-pei mixes after falling deeply in love with my childhood soul dog: a Shar-pei/Labrador mix named Honey Bear. I have long standing history with a number of breeds and energy levels as well as breeds that may be prone to certain medical issues (hip dysplasia in large dogs and discs in long breeds). Up until now, myself and my family while I lived with them had the following breeds which I have extensive experience with: Greyhound Dachshund Blue Heeler Shar-pei Catahoula Coonhound Corgi Now for the kitties: growing up my entire family is extremely allergic to cats, with the exception of me. Today I am so grateful I never inherited that allergy, as I have a deep love for cats. One of my best friends adopted a senior cat while we lived together for nearly 3 years and to this day I still consider him my god child as he nears wizardhood. I frequently assist my friends in watching and playing with their kitties to satisfy my own cat desires.

Sydney was WONDERFUL! She treated my babies like her own. I can see how much she truly cares about animals and she was absolutely a surrogate mom to my babies while I was gone. I will always book her for my future sitting needs! She is remarkable. I can’t say enough good things about her!

Sydney was an absolutely wonderful sitter for our dog and cat. She communicated super clearly, was on time, sent photos, and even checked in when our pup was scared during a thunderstorm. She gave our dog’s tail a little wash when she peed on it! She also left the house in even better shape and left CUSTOM STICKERS of both pets!! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and feel so confident she will take excellent care of them in the future. We can’t wait to book Sydney again!

Sydney did such an amazing job with my pup, Lady! Lady is an Australian Shepherd, and Sydney did so well in understanding and respecting our rules and boundaries for her. She was willing to stay at our house with Lady, took great care of all of our things, and I came home to a happy dog. Thank you Syndey!

Sydney has watched my elderly lab Sophie on a number of occasions with great care and responsibility. She is loving, communicative, can give medicine if the pet requires, and ultimately treats the pets she is watching as one of her own. I also trust her because she has been a pet owner most of her life. Sydney is someone you can trust and count on to watch your fur babies.
