“What a wonderful experience! She was so good to my 6 month old puppy for 9 nights and I swear he came back more well behaved. She gave us updates every day and he was very happy and healthy when we picked him up. She was also incredibly understanding when our flight was majorly delayed which took a lot of stress off of an already stressful situation. Can’t go wrong here - highly recommend!”

“Jenna and Jason watched our dogs while we were out of the country for a bit over a week. They made sure to go the extra mile to give lots of love and attention to our dogs, including walks, with daily updates, and were very attentive to their needs. We are very grateful to find such a great family and our pups look forward to their next stay or visit! Thank you!”

“Walter loves being there! He gets really excited the moment we turn on the street. I get the best pictures and I know he’s safe and happy when he’s with Lindsay and Josh”

“Morgan and Matthew were EXCELLENT! I will definitely be using them again if I go away. My dog had a paw infection that I only learned about the morning of dropping her off. Morgan and Matthew were great and super receptive to last minute medication and care instructions! I felt the most comfortable that I've ever felt with leaving her with a sitter I didn't previously know. 10/10 would recommend!”

“As dog parents, we wanted our fur baby with someone reliable as well as professional- and Ashley delivered on every level✨. Communication was prompt and clear, and we especially appreciated the updates/pictures, which allowed us to have peace of mind knowing our dog was in excellent hands. Most importantly, Islay was happy when I picked her up. We would confidently book again!”

“Anne and her family was an amazing at taking care of my dog Jasper while we were on vacation! Jasper had a vacation of his own! We looked forward to the daily updates, and he seemed like he was having a blast!”

“Kysseria and Debb great with our fur baby Quintin. They communicated with us regularly and we're able to accommodate the time we needed. Pictures were sent and he seemed very content. Thank you.”

“Dana was great with our dog. She sent pictures and communicated regularly. We appreciated meeting her family and dog too! It's always nice to see the environment, people, and pets your dog will be spending time with during the stay. Will definitely use Dana in the future!”

“Jessica and Teryn are great hosts! Rupert had a wonderful stay and we felt completely at ease during our entire trip. We got regular updates and photos and they have a super sweet dog to help keep company. Highly recommend them and will definitely use them again in the future!”

“Alisa is amazing! I was quite concerned about leaving our 7 year old nervous rescue dog with anyone. She loved Alisa. She was so excited each time we get in the car (highly unusual) because I'm pretty sure she was hoping to get to see Alisa and her doggies. It is such a relief to have this wonderful human to take care of our past-traumatized dog.”

“We left our 2 dogs with Jackie for 10 days, the longest we have ever left them, and couldn’t be happier with our experience! She has a big dog friendly yard, the sweetest pup Oliver who our dogs loved to play with and only 20 mins from the airport!! She sent us pictures and updates everyday. We will definitely be using her again!”

“My baby girl really feels at home! You can tell that she loves them and they love her! She use to hate when I went on work trips, but now she actually enjoys it! Kristal’s two pups are adorable and always greet me at the door, they are such sweethearts! I’m so happy I found someone I can trust with my baby! And you can tell she treats her as her own baby :) thanks again!!”

“Ricardo was wonderful! This was our second time booking with him and he took great care of Jeter. Jeter came back home happy and tired! We look forward to booking with him again!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Derby
We absolutely love Ms. Gayle! We’ve booked with her repeatedly, and she always takes such great care of our Charlie! Her home is always clean, and we feel completely comfortable knowing Charlie is in such good hands. One thing we especially appreciate is how thoughtful she is about communicating her availability. She always gives us a heads-up when she anticipates having limited openings so we can book early. It’s those little things that make such a difference! We’re so grateful to have found someone we trust with our fur baby. Highly recommend Ms. Gayle!

Rene (and her family when home) gave Benjie a safe, secure, nurturing and loving place for his entire 9-day stay. She is a good communicator, texting questions when needed and sending pics every couple days. I felt such a relief when I dropped him off and knew that he was in a peaceful, loving environment. The day after I brought him home, he was very somber for the entire day and I knew he missed her and her wonderful family. Best experience ever!
Molly did a great job watching my golden doodle. She is great at caring for him and giving him any medication or supplements needed. She even took him to the veterinarian when he needed it and I was out of town. She provided lots of updates when she watched him. She is one of the best pet sitters that I’ve found on Rover.
Brianne and Scott are thoughtful, kind, caring and conscientiousness. I have two dogs with individual needs and I felt confident after the meet and greet my pups would be in good hands. I try to be prepared for every situation and yet I think anything could have happened and they would know what to do. These are the kind of people you can trust in emergencies but are lucky to have for every day sitting. Thank you again! The dogs are happy and tired today.

Katiee was absolutely incredible with our two dogs, Charley and Moose! This is our second time using Katiee and we are so happy we did. When we had a last minute travel change and flight delay, Katiee was extremely accommodating and even stayed up late so we could get pick up our dogs in the middle of the night. Very appreciative of her flexibility and kindness!

Mayra was great with our dog, and kept us updated with pictures and any information we needed while we were away! Our dog has strict diet needs, so it was a relief that they were careful about keeping him from getting into anything he shouldn't be eating. It's very assuring to know that he's comfortable staying with them!

Clay and Taylor were fabulous, and my buddy had a great time with their dog Copper! I felt completely comfortable leaving him with them. They sent just the right amount of updates and photos, which we loved and appreciated. They took him on walks, and he got lots of fresh air and chances to roll around in the grass. Our Rusty loves his cuddles and it was great to see they were taking good care of him. Plus they took him for a whole week during a holiday, which was a very important trip for us. They were very gracious when I needed to be in touch with them about our schedule, and were always responsive if I needed to contact them. Please don’t hesitate to book with this lovely family! :)

During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.

Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in CO ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Adding another pup to the pack? Most sitters and walkers offer a reduced rate for additional dogs. You’ll find these exact rates listed under the "Services" tab on any sitter's profile. Since every dog is unique, final pricing may vary depending on the level of care required.
