Hi, my name is Charlene (Charlie), and I have a genuine passion for caring for animals of all kinds. With over 10 years of hands-on experience, I’ve worked in a variety of settings including dog shows, grooming, and managing large playgroups of up to 80 dogs at a major daycare facility. My experience ranges from caring for geriatric and diabetic dogs to supporting young pups with severe anxiety. I treat every animal as if they were my own, and I proudly welcome all breeds—there is absolutely no breed discrimination here. I believe that quality care goes beyond simply having a backyard. While I do have a fenced yard, all potty breaks include a walk, and I’m happy to provide additional exercise such as runs or hikes based on your dog’s needs and energy level. Indoor play is provided depending on weather conditions. For social pups, we can host fun, structured playtime with other dogs. If your dog prefers one-on-one attention, I’m more than happy to accommodate that as well. Fresh water, structured routines, and attentive supervision are always part of our daily care. For the safety of all pets in my care, I require that dogs are up to date on vaccinations. I am experienced in administering medications and carefully following feeding schedules and detailed care instructions. I understand how difficult it can be to trust someone with your beloved pet, which is why consistent photo updates and communication are a priority for me.

Schedule
Availability for Drop-Offs & Pick-Ups I work from home, which allows me to provide plenty of supervision and care throughout the day. However, because I’m in and out of meetings during normal business hours, I kindly ask that weekday drop-offs and pick-ups be scheduled for around 7:30 PM whenever possible. Weekend drop-offs and pick-ups are much more flexible and can usually be arranged at a time that’s convenient for my pet parents 😊 For families traveling early in the morning, I also offer a complimentary night before drop-off, allowing you to bring your pup the evening before your trip at no additional charge. This helps make travel days less stressful for both you and your dog.

We have a fully fenced yard; however, all potty breaks include a structured walk to ensure your dog receives both exercise and mental stimulation. Playtime is primarily held indoors depending on weather conditions to maintain a safe and comfortable environment. For dogs who enjoy socialization, we offer supervised group play. If your pup prefers one-on-one attention, we are equally happy to provide individualized care. Fresh water is always readily available and incorporated into our daily routine. From exercise and enrichment to feeding schedules and special requests, we tailor our care to meet your dog’s specific needs.

A typical day
I am committed to providing both physical and mental enrichment for your dog during their stay. We incorporate engaging games, structured activities, and neighborhood walks that allow your pup to safely explore new sights and smells. We also enjoy visits to a large park near our home for additional stimulation and exercise. For the safety of all pets in our care, dogs must be up to date on vaccinations. Each dog’s activity level is tailored to their individual age, health, and physical condition. Whether your pup thrives on high-energy exercise or prefers a slower pace with plenty of rest, their routine will be thoughtfully adjusted to meet their specific needs.
