I have been going back and forth on writing this review as Eric does not have many reviews yet. However, there are a couple things I think future owners will want to know to mitigate any issues. Most of the issues can be summed up with poor communication. We booked Eric for a 30 minute walk and he did not ask any questions in the week leading up to the walk. I sent him some basic information a couple days before to make sure he knew where our leash was and about our dog - who is friendly and has never had any issues with anyone in the past. Eric showed up 20 minutes late and stayed for an hour even though we did not book him for an hour. He did not send us any information over rover once the walk was done (and the app did not track any movement), but instead opted to write a barely legible note on the whiteboard in our entryway. When we got home found out he had run a chefs knife in our dishwasher and used our vacuum cleaner which was unwanted. Eric did take photos of my dog, but all were inside the house. I sent some messages back and forth with him the next day to try and figure out what happened, and he assured me Shia got a walk. I have never had to specify with other walkers for pictures of Shia outside (or to not do chores) so maybe this was a bad expectation of mine, but some better communication of what is expected might be beneficial for other owners in the future.

Eric is the best! My pup, Floyd, is an absolute weirdo and Eric handles him with grace. He’s patient, goes the extra mile, and Floyd likes him (which says a lot). My house is always tidy after he leaves, which is just the cherry on top. We love Eric!

Jingle was very happy with Eric, we could really see that on our dogs face. Happy with Eric taking care.
