About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. Dogs have been part of my life since I was seven years old, and over the years I've rescued animals, volunteered with pet organizations, and fostered Boston Terriers and Havanese dogs rescued from puppy mills. During the past year and a half, I've cared for dogs, cats, and even chickens through TrustedHousesitters across Colorado, Montana, Wisconsin, and Indiana. I've been entrusted with everything from weekend stays to six-month house sits, and I truly enjoy getting to know each animal's unique personality, routines, and quirks. My goal is to provide pets with a calm, loving, and safe experience while their families are away. Whether we're going for walks, playing, cuddling, or simply keeping each other company, I treat every pet as if they were my own. We can't say enough good things about Donovan. He took great care of our Dobby, Floki and Freyja and watering my backyard garden. They were all well fed, happy, and with clean litterboxes. Also empty trash and recycling. Donovan even washed all of Dobby's potty pads for us. Everything was in beautiful shape when we got home, and after I had mentioned we were having problems at the airport and were delayed getting home, he even checked in to make sure we got home okay. You can hire him with confidence!
This is our second time having Lila watch Sadie (our son's Boxer) and we will always reach out to Lila first for our bookings. She is AMAZING!!! I can't begin to express the level of comfort we have with having Lila watch Sadie. Lila reaches out when Sadie isn't eating because she's concerned. She goes above and beyond in sending pictures. You will not regret utilizing Lila's services with your pets.
Javier watched our 2 cattle dogs and cat for a week. He has a very calm demeanor and in our initial meeting put us at ease and the animals immediately connected with him. He was responsive, kept our home clean, and completed additional home maintenance like watering plants and gardens. Upon returning home, our animals were happy and had clearly been well cared for. They did not seem anxious and had clearly spent the week getting attention and love. We'll definitely be using Javier again!
Deb was incredible with our Dino! Dino is an 11 year old boxer and needs a lot of close attention and Deb made me feel 110% at ease with leaving him for a week. She was a calming presence, was extremely communicative, and provided so many updates and photos on Dino while we were away. When we got back home, the house was in tip top shape and we were grateful for her time and the love that she provided to Dino. He was such a happy boy! Ella was an outstanding Rover sitter, and we would book with her again in a heartbeat! She stayed with our dog, Finley, and cared for our home for two nights while we were away. Makayla did a great job watching our two dogs while we were away. She followed all of our instructions for the dogs and the house, was very communicative, and was flexible and accommodating throughout the stay.
