About: I've been taking care of dogs of all shapes and sizes, all breeds and personalities for the past 3 years. I have administered medication to the pups and kitties that need it. I have learned patience and genuinely love all the animals I come in contact with. I will be open all week Monday-Friday and some weekends. Giving me plenty of time to spend with your furry friends. I am available for drop ins, long walks, or just hanging out with your pet! I provide attentive, personalized care based on each pet’s routine and personality. In my clients’ homes, I follow all feeding schedules, provide fresh water, administer medications if needed, take dogs on walks or provide potty breaks, engage them in play and enrichment, and make sure they receive plenty of affection and attention.
“Sasha is so helpful, and has been so good with both of my dogs one of whom struggles with strangers at times. She takes good care of all my animals and is clearly kind and loving with them. Will definitely continue booking with her!”

“Martyna was wonderful with our cat! She spent plenty of quality time with him during each visit, made sure he was well-fed, and kept him stimulated with play. We felt very comfortable knowing he was in great hands. Highly recommend!”

About: Hello! I am an active, outdoorsy, and laid-back human who would love to care for your pets. I have 17 years of experience caring for cats of many personality types and 7 years caring for dogs (both my family pets and other families’). I am excited to hang out with your pet family!! I work four 10 hour days M-Th (7am-5:30 + traffic both ways), and depending on your location, am happy to stay the night with your pets or come twice a day Mon-Sun. I am especially available to spend time with your pets from Fri-Sun, so if you want your dog to have a longer adventure day, or your cats to have extra social time playing or cuddling, I’m more than happy to accommodate. I grew up with three different cats. Luna was a sweet cat who would sit on my lap for hours; Obi was a silly cat who loved getting into trouble, we played a lot to get his energy out; Tigger is a feisty gal, she used to keep to herself and so we wouldn’t pet her much unless she approached us, but over the years she has softened and become a big cuddle-bug. My family’s dog, Qira, is a high-energy pitbull terrier who doesn’t really like other dogs but is very playful. I am very experienced handling her around other dogs and ensuring she stays calm. I helped with some of her training so I feel comfortable with dogs who need a little extra attention on walks. I have taken care of other folks’ pets as well and giving them whatever care they need beyond the basics, whether that is playing with them, cuddling with them, or just being around so they’re less lonely.
“First time booking Katie to check on our two rambunctious and wild golden retrievers! She welcomed the challenge and made us feel sooo comfortable while away on a trip! The dogs loved her and I appreciated the special updates each day and photos. 10/10 recommend :)”

“Connie did a great job dropping in on my cat. She sent great pictures and did an amazing job keeping the litter box area clean. She even got pictures when my shy cat came out to peek at her!”

“Juan was amazing with my cats! He was reliable, communicative, and sent updates and photos every day. He clearly cares about animals. He went above and beyond and was respectful of my home. My cats loved him, and I’ll definitely book with him again. Highly recommend!”

Holly saved us when the cat boarding situation I had lined up fell through at the last minute. Super professional and knowledgeable about cats. My cat can be a bit timid with strangers but every day I got a video of her playing with Holly and I couldn’t be happier.

Amy was able to visit our very shy kitty when our previously scheduled sitter had to cancel unexpectedly. Amy is very kind and understanding of the needs of our special guy. We are very appreciative of Amy's approach to pet sitting and we will definitely be scheduling with her again.

Martyna was a great sitter! She went above and beyond for my cat while I was away. She followed all of my instructions to a tee and always made sure to keep me updated. She gave my cat plenty of love and attention, as well as the reassurance that my cat was in great care and company. I would recommend Martyna to anyone who wants a compassionate and caring pet sitter!

River was amazing with my cat! She built up trust with her over time, and my cat (who isn’t big on strangers) really warmed up to her. She also sent detailed updates and lots of photos every day, which I loved! It was great knowing my cat was in such good hands while I was gone.

Can’t say enough amazing things about Juan! I am someone who hates leaving my animals but knowing Juan was there taking care of our fur babies made our anniversary trip worry free! He loves all animals and sent daily photos and check ins! He even watered some of our plants which was not part of what we had asked- he goes above and beyond! We will be using him again and HIGHLY recommend him for your next pet sitting needs ♥️♥️

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.
House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Broomfield. On Rover:

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
