About: Hi! I’m Manny, and I share my home with Nahla, my Cavalier King Charles mix, who’s taught me everything about patience, routine, and unconditional love. Dogs have always been part of my life, and caring for Nahla every day keeps me tuned in to the little things. The right pace for a walk, when a pup needs a break, and how to read their energy so every outing feels safe and fun. I treat every dog I look after the way I’d want mine treated: with attention, consistency, and genuine affection. Whether it’s a quick walk around the block or extra playtime, I show up on time, stay present the whole visit, and send updates so you’re never left wondering how things went. I’m based in Denver’s Baker neighborhood and love exploring the area’s parks and trails always happy to tailor walks to your dog’s pace and personality. My schedule is flexible, so I can usually accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends! Just message me and we’ll find a time that works. I typically reply within the hour, so you won’t be left waiting to hear back. Looking forward to meeting your pup! Send a message and let’s set up a meet-and-greet! My schedule is very flexible, so I’m able to accommodate mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends without much notice. I’m home most days and happy to build a routine that fits your schedule and your pet’s needs perfectly Since I offer walks and drop-in visits rather than boarding, I focus on your pet’s comfort in their own space. I follow your instructions closely for feeding, routine, and safety, and I’m attentive to their comfort, energy, and any specific needs you outline for each visit.

About: Animal training has been a passion of mine since I was little. Owning two German Shepherds at the time, I was able to learn how to care for animals, and practice the training methods I learned (I taught my dogs some agility, sniff work, and other tricks and commands). I had the opportunity to shadow a veterinarian for two summers, and learned about the medical side of pet care. Having owned many rescue pets in my lifetime, I have also gained experience with reactive and anxious dogs, aggression problems, breed-specific health problems, and puppy house-training & crate-training. I am 21 and in my second year at Colorado College. Right now, I can only care for pets during my breaks at home in Boulder. I would love to fill my free time with meeting and caring for animals! When I meet new pets, I really like to get to know them and what makes them happy (whether it be head scratches, long games of fetch, mental stimulation games, or sometimes just keeping out of their personal space). In the same vein, I love to teach tricks/commands, and would love to help out with that if you have specific requests. When I pet sit over the summers, Rover is my only job. I will be able to spend most of the day with your pet/s. I always appreciate written instructions—the more detailed, the better. And I will have my own list of questions to discuss with you when we meet!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Lakewood
We’ve been paws-itively thrilled with our dog walker! She’s dependable, responsive, and someone we know we can count on when we need a little help in a pinch. Her communication is top-notch, and we love the regular “pupdates” that let us know our pup is happy, safe, and getting plenty of tail-wagging attention. Kathleen’s definitely earned our trust—and our dog’s approval, which is really the only review that matters! We’ll be looking forward to having her back for our next round of walks. Highly recommended!

Suzi was amazing with both of my dogs. One of my dogs is very skittish of new people and has recently been diagnosed with kidney failure. Suzi took the time to make my dog feel comfortable and even brought treats for him that are suitable for his strict diet. I will be using her again and I will recommend her to all of my family and friends. Thank you Suzi!

Peace has great communication and knows so much about dogs! We are just starting to get our huskies used to her for drop ins and walks and she’s been great to work with! We have one shy girl and Peace has been so patient. We look forward to more walks and visits!

Emi is one of the best walkers and sitters I have ever had! She was perfect in following my senior dog's complicated instructions, and she was excellent in her communication. Emi gave my dog excellent walks and he loved her so much. I cannot recommend her enough to anybody who wants excellent care!

Katrina has been a great dog walker for us! She’s excellent with communication, reliable, and flexible with our schedules. Our dog, Luna, takes a little time to warm up to new people, and Katrina was patient and took the time to help her feel comfortable. We feel at ease knowing Luna is in good hands. We highly recommend her!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
